This is the type of music they play... weird 60s jazz
    Alan D.

Servers were friendly and attentive. I got the house burger with a side of their homemade mayo. Asked for medium and it came out well done. Despite that it was still really good... bread seemed to be pan seared in butter... always a classic win. If only the meat had been cooked as ordered... the house mayo is excellent... but the best part were the fries... I love these style of fries... lots of flavorful crunch and taste... also went amazing with the Mayo. They did have some weird 60's off tune jazz music playing... see photo for reference.

My friend picked this as her birthday dinner. We shared appetizers and ordered our own entrees. The eggplant fritters were lukewarm inside. They clearly keep them refrigerator and then fry them to order. So, outside crisper up fast and inside was barely heated. Fried dough chips were unremarkable. My home burger was good. Nothing to brag about. My friend who ordered the shrimp salad wrap said it was good, but the Mac & cheese side tasted weird to her. The entree salad and buffalo Mac were shared and they were nice enough to split their orders so they had a plate of each. The donuts tasted fruity. I think it was the glaze. I wouldn't be in a rush to return.

Welcome Home When it comes to supporting your local business, look no further than the comfort of your local Home! Comfortable setting, warm staff, calming & feel at home ambience and a delicious & immaculate menu which takes creativity & bold flavors to a whole new level. They certainly hit Home on all fronts. The community of Branford is lucky to have a place like Home. Now enough puns... let's talk menu. Spinach Salad A luscious salad topped with roasted beets, a decadent ball of creamy fried goat cheese & a housemade honey-balsamic vinaigrette. A perfect start. The Home Burger 10/10 one of the best burgers ever. Pecan wood smoked bacon, a delicious caramelized onion jam & sautéed mushrooms on perfectly toasted brioche bun. And my the god Boursin cheese adds an incredible mouthwatering explosion of flavors that brings it all together. Hawaiian Turkey Burger Guess what Gordon Ramsay... you were wrong!! Worried about the Turkey patty being dry, don't!!! This delicious burger is topped with grilled pineapple, crisped applewood smoked ham & housemade BBQ sauce that add just the right amount of fat & juicy moister to the lean Turkey patty. I don't ever go out of my way to try a non-beef patty but this heavenly gem is a must try. HOME-style Spinach & Artichoke MAC can you say cheesy goodness?! This delicious Mac is topped with a slice of torched Brie that further enhances the flavor of this creamy dish. HOME-style Mussels Frites MAC Oh my what a bold combination of flavors & textures. A creamy delicious Mac with mussels, arugula & tomatoes topped with crispy potato gaufrette. Highly recommended. A big thank you to Home for the wonderful experience & accommodating this extremely hungry bodybuilder post competition. We will be seeing you again... soon.

'Gavadeels' with add on pork cutlet

Oh goodness where do I begin? Thursday night feels like cafeteria night at the geriatric ward. The service was very nice and a bit slow. Cheeseboard was so disappointing. Three basic cheeses (one being big chunks of Muenster, another a delicious Gorg and the third teeny tiny pebbles of Halloumi) a few strands of very tasty pickled peppers that weren't the least bit crisp. 6 tiny toast points and some tart blueberry chutney. So underwhelming. Dinner was a disaster. 'Gavadeels' cavatelli was NOT cavatelli at all but rather pasta shaped similar to a cavatelli. Topped with pork cutlet that was over fried in old fry oil. Taste was hard to clear off the palate. The eggplant ribbons were charcoal like. Coconut shrimp was way overdone in same oil and so tough you couldn't cut with a fork. Black. Ordered margaritas. Since when do margaritas have soda in them? Very disappointed. However, the waitress was very sweet.

A very interesting menu. For appetizers we had the General Tso's brussel sprouts. What a flavor bomb. We also had the eggplant fritters. Nice and crispy outside with a soft middle-great marinara too. For an entree we split an ahi tuna melt. It may not sound all that interesting but so light and tasty. Served with awesome fries. They also have a variety of Mac and cheese combinations and a Cajun meatloaf I can't wait to try. Friendly staff. Quick service. Their sign says they are celebrating 10 years in Branford. They deserve it and 10 more. Great place-we'll be back.

For a long time we've been hearing from our foodie friends what a great spot Home is, so we finally made our way for dinner one night! We were seated in the front dining room, which was very cozy and has a laid back vibe. Their menu has a lot of unique options and twists on dishes that we admired- braising the short rib in foxon park root beer was one of them! All around fresh and delicious locally-sourced options. I thought it was great that they offer a separate gluten free menu as well. All of the food arrived to us in good time, and all of the staff was friendly and welcoming!

Brunch anyone?! Such a cute & HOMEY a spot! They literally have sofa chairs in their lounge! Food was great!! If you're looking for light options go elsewhere lol because everything on the menu packs a punch! The mini (not so mini) donuts were warm and delish! And the egg Sammy so ughhh 10/10! Eggs cooked perfectly, good quality bacon..... they don't cheap out on ingredients here. Honestly the star of the show was the hash brown casserole. Gina's tip: if you are human, you will most likely have leftovers of the hash brown casserole. Take those to go and the next morning do a scrambled egg hash with them. Soooo good! Also, my husband got the bloody Mary and I had a taste very good, tastes like they make their own mix! The staff was really great and super knowledgeable about the menu. I love when servers give recommendations!

Decided to go to Home restaurant for a New Year's Day Brunch. Location is right in the center of Branford and parking is free and plentiful. The restaurant offers multiple seating options; bar seating with high top tables, a dining area with the option of large comfortable chairs/couches, and a more formal dining room. The staff are friendly and attentive, offering recommendations when torn between multiple menu options. They offer a good variety of menu choices for both lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. I ordered the BEC flatbread with a spicy Bloody Mary. Both were delicious and I will definitely be ordering these again next time at Home!

This was the best meal to end 2022 with. A few friends and I ordered the gluten free cheese board. We ordered fries, General Tso Brussels sprouts, gluten free buffalo chicken Mac and cheese, the home burger with a side of brisket Mac and cheese and Creole style meatloaf. For dessert we ordered the potato chip brownie and another dessert which I can't recall the name of. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience was nice.

The food here is pretty good. They have some nice mac & cheese options and some interesting spins on dishes. I ordered the ribs with cheese grits. The actual meat portion was small considering the dish was $35, but that's inflation for you. We enjoyed our meal, but found the dessert options limited so passed. The ambience is interesting as the place is casual and resembles a lounge more than a restaurant. There are options where you can sit around a coffee table as though you were at home, and eat your meal there. The service was decent, though it was hard to get the waiter's attention at times. I think this is a nice place to enjoy a casual hang out with a friend or two.

Home has been a favorite of my family's for years and is conveniently located right across from the green in the center of Branford. This visit was as enjoyable as all the others with good food and a friendly server. There is a larger room with more typical restaurant tables in the back, but the font room (seen in the photos) is my favorite and has comfy seating, like you're just chilling in a living room. I love that the menu will sometimes change with the season to include fresh food for each time of year. They offer all the items you would think of as comfort food too, exactly what you would think a place called Home would serve! I've had plenty of different items and have never been disappointed. At this particular visit, my friend and I came for just a bite and a drink. We enjoyed our wine, shared the cheese board, and had soup and salad. While the cheese board was very basic, the quality was delicious, and we were both very happy with our soups and salads; it was a perfect winter meal eaten in comfy armchairs - just what we needed to unwind!

I originally planned to sit at the bar since I was dining solo, but it was packed for happy hour (always a good sign). I ended up in the dining room instead, and honestly, it worked out great. Service was quick and attentive from the start. My server, Christina, checked in on me several times without being overbearing, and I really appreciated how often my water was refilled especially since I skipped alcohol this visit. For food, I went all in: a dozen oysters, bang bang shrimp bao buns, and salmon sushi rolls. I finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake (which I already knew I loved from their sister restaurant). Standouts for me were the oysters, the bao buns, and that cheesecake absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, just a bit oversized for that perfect bite. Overall, a great experience with solid food and attentive service. I'll definitely be back maybe next time I'll snag a bar seat!

Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!
