Lobsta Roll - Jersey style - A foam tray holds a lobster roll filled with lobster meat, accompanied by a portion of French fries and a side of coleslaw. The lobster roll features lobster chunks in a bun, with visible lobster claws and tail. The French fries are golden and crispy, and the coleslaw contains shredded cabbage with a creamy dressing. The tray is placed on a surface with a blue background.

Delicious fish and chips. And the best lobster roll I've had. The entire 1lb of lobster was massive and perfect. Fried pickles are good. French fries have a nice batter texture.

This is their scallops meal - The image shows a takeout meal with fried fish fillets and French fries served in a foam container. A fork holds a piece of fried fish with tartar sauce and a lemon wedge. Additional fried fish pieces are visible in the background, along with a small container of tartar sauce. The setting appears to be casual, likely at a seafood restaurant or clam shack.

My family and I have been coming here for years. It was an amazing little spot to get seafood without having to venture to Newport, Narragansett, Charlestown, etc. I was anticipating an amazing meal. I was unaware that the original owners had sold and just thought they revamped their menu. I had high hopes, but I should have known. Firstly, I went on a Thursday close to 7pm. I was excited that they were open and couldn't wait to chow down. At this time there were only two other people waiting to get food. The server was not friendly and seemed irritated to take my order. I had asked about their "ultimate" lobster roll's price and was flabbergasted that it was $27. I opted not to get it and chose the scallops meal. When it was time to pay my total came to $53.85 and she "rounded it" to $54. It's not about the money per say, but was not given an explanation as to why there was a discrepancy. I would not recommend this establishment for the following reasons: -service is subpar to say the least. -Maryland Crab Cakes had an amazing taste and could have been wonderful if they were cooked fully. This would have been avoided had the cook made the crab cakes smaller. -the scallops meal was absolutely deplorable. Scallops were not fresh and smelt badly. It's almost like these were frozen and left to thaw out for a week and were used. The batter was way too thick and had no flavor. Weird crumb texture. I could not eat the batter and stopped eating the scallops after the two I tried in fear of food poisoning. Coleslaw was inedible. French fries were decent, could have been fried a little longer. -mozzarella sticks had a Smokey flavor which my child did not enjoy. To an adult palate you may enjoy this, but the presentation looked terrible that it turned away our appetite. The picture shows the presentation as given to us. -clam cakes were mostly all batter and little to no clams. Barely any flavor of a traditional clam cake. Full of grease. Crazy big! -clam chowder was the ONLY thing worth the trip. Both red and white were delicious. All in all, it seems the new owners are trying their best to create a new and improved menu introducing us to new flavors with seafood in the Scituate area. Their attempts are mediocre at best. After years of enjoying this establishment under previous owners I will remember it fondly. I will never recommend nor attend this establishment again. If you decide to check this spot out, which I implore you to at your own risk, stick with the clam chowder only and other non-seafood plates!

Clam "fritters" cakes - Six fried clam fritters are arranged on crumpled brown paper, resting on a wooden table outdoors. The fritters are golden-brown with a crispy exterior, and some have irregular shapes. The background shows a grassy area with sunlight, indicating an outdoor dining environment.

When the place was Howard's, the clam cakes were traditional and delicious. I am not sure what these are. They are big and the insides gummy, not fluffy and little to no flavor. Very few clams and they were rubbery. Not sure what they are shooting for but these are far from what use to be. Friendly staff

Better than expected considering it's a tiny roadside stand. Really fresh seafood and great service. Wish it was open year round!

My boyfriend always would comment that he wanted to go there. His birthday came up and we decided to go and bring both sets of parents. We had a GREAT meal. It has improved. I previously thought it was pretty flavorless food that I could technically make at home (example: Steak tips, rice pilaf, and a veggie), but now I feel like it stepped up its game. We started with Portuguese style calamari and shrimp and goat cheese. I ordered a seafood and rice dish off of the seafood portion of the menu. I can't find the exact dish online on their menu. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great. The ambiance was great. We can't wait to go back for the next birthday celebration!

We were not disappointed with the food. We had stuffies as an app: very good with Portuguese sausage. I had the fish tacos which were excellent with big pieces of fish and plenty of fries. Awesome mango corn salsa. My love had a chicken and pasta entree called Princess chicken and he loved it. Again large portion and well plated. Food is definitely the stand out here. Service was unenthusiastic and not good about refilling water or checking in on us. I would have ordered a second glass of wine if anyone bothered to ask but it was difficult just getting our water refilled. At one point I busted out my water bottle from our hike earlier in the day and drank it instead because no one was around to provide water. Would recommend based on food and atmosphere but they could do with some improvement in service.

We had checked out the entire menu, as first timers, and made our choice, then waited another 5 min for her to decide to check in with us. Our food came out and looked and tasted very good. Chili omelet was delicious and homemade, not processed potatoes, for home fries. Johnny cakes were some of the best I've had. Waitress did not offer to refill our coffees, and made a running pass to say everything ok? Didn't really slow down to hear our answer. Finally after we are clearly finished she brings the pot of coffee, ummm "no thanks, check please"?

Our food came out and it looked great but it was a little warm. It was as if it was cooked and sat for a little bit before it was brought out. I ordered the "Kelli" and a side of corned beef hash. I received the "Kelli" but not the hash. When I asked for it she said she'd go get it and it came out when we were done eating. I'm assuming it was never put in. We will definitely be back to give it another shot because we loved the look of the place, the prices on everything were reasonable and the food was good. Just wished we had gotten the whole experience of what we think it is.
