Overall experience- Went here for breakfast for my boyfriend's birthday. Randomly searched up breakfast places and landed at this cute spot. It was so charming and old school place. It also was right by a lake which was really breathtaking. We got sat right away and all the staff was nice there wasn't many people in the restaurant which was nice made the breakfast more quiet and intimate. The decor was making you feel like you are at your grandmas house and gonna get a great meal. Food- Everything was great and made fresh to order. I do wish the French toast was a bit thicker and cooked a little longer.... (I like my French toast to have crispy edges but I'm just picky) The pancakes bacon, eggs, omelet cooked to perfection. My favorite this would honestly be the home fries. I love a good breakfast potato. The potions are pretty big and will leave you full for most of the day. I would definitely go back.

Juicy half pound cheese burger and hand cut sweet potato fries

If you come here you can expect friendly, fast service and food that tastes like it was made with love. We were in the area and a little pressed for time which is why I got a cheese burger with sweet potato fries instead of the fried chicken dinner which I really wanted (I'll be returning for it though believe me). But the cheese burger was a juicy, generous half pound cooked just right and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and a little softer on the inside-obviously hand cut and fresh. When I return I'll be trying a dessert too so stay tuned for an update. I've heard that the breakfast food served all day here is delicious too so you really can't go wrong, no matter what you choose.

We had a bit of a wait, but the food was good. I had the pancakes, and even just two was too much..the portions are generous. Husband's omelette was so filled, it was mounded up several inches. Come on in for a comfortable diner like feel.

Took our out-of-town family here for breakfast. It looked like a cute Cottage on the outside and it was situated right on the edge of a little pond. When you go in the building its very old and dirty. There were flies everywhere and they kept running into us, just nasty. When our waitress came she took our orders and then promptly returned with our drinks and coffee. Not too long afterwards our breakfast arrived and so did the problems. My mother-in-law ordered a waffle with chipped beef and a side of bacon. What she received was a waffle with 2 tablespoons of chip beef on it and no bacon at all. She ended up having to ask the waitress to bring more chip beef because the portion she was given was so ridiculous. I got an omelet which was under seasoned and my husband got a large plate of food but nothing was spectacular about any of it. Next time we'll try a different place.

Scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, fried potatoes, Carrot cake muffin.

Charming breakfast, great service, on a lake! Leaving Dover, we chose this restaurant for breakfast based on reviews, and were not disappointed. This charming little cottage of a restaurant is located a mile from Dover Downs, but tucked down a side road, on a lake. We were seated immediately on a Friday morning, and greeted by our very friendly and proficient server Lynzee. We had a window view of the lake, which has a little fenced dock for patrons to visit. I had delicious French Toast and Bacon, and my husband had Canadian Bacon and Scrambled Eggs, Fried Potatoes with a paprika seasoning, and a large carrot cake muffin which was like moist carrot cake. Every thing was yummy, and the service by Lynzee was great. On the way out we noticed the statue of a goose in military fatigues in the window. Charming place for breakfast!!

Pretty good restaraunt. I think it's a little odd they serve an orange slice with everything, which isn't an issue though two of my party members are allergic and they weren't asked. Server was nice and attentive. The atmosphere in the morning was pretty calm but I got there before the church crowd so I can't speak for after 9:30. Food was good, bacon was surprisingly nice, still floppy but crispy on the edges. They also serve scrapple for meat brick enjoyers (a criticism of scrapple, not the restaraunt, haha.) Toast was fantastic.

The service was decent, the food for the most part was bland, Ordered Mozzarella Sticks, they were decent, Cup of chili was pretty good, turkey & dressing was alright all though bland on taste. My wife ordered pot roast and ended up getting prime rib, Don't know how they messed this up. The prime rib was still dripping with blood.

Great food and good prices, they are short staffed but worth the wait. The vibes are also very country which I love.

My husband and I stopped into First Watch for breakfast while visiting family nearby. We'd never…read morebeen before but heard great things, so we were pretty excited to try it. Even though it looked busy, we were seated right away at the bar, which was nice. We kicked things off with mimosas. They give you a little bottle of champagne and a cup of OJ so you can mix it yourself. I ordered the Double Bacon Parmesan Hash from the seasonal menu. It had bacon, onions, spinach, mozzarella, potato hash, eggs, Parmesan cream, arugula, shaved Parmesan... basically everything delicious in one bowl. It really was so good, just a little oversalted for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. My husband got the cinnamon chip pancakes. They brought him two huge pancakes and he immediately realized he only needed one because they're BIG! He also mentioned his bacon was cooked perfectly: crispy without being burnt. Overall, we had a great first visit. The whole menu looked amazing and there were a few things I was torn between, so I'd definitely come back to try more.

Very friendly and happy to answer and questions and make modifications to the orders as needed. The food was all good. Large portions and well made. It was clear that this place cares about its ingredients and presentation. I got the egg white and chicken wrap. Very healthy and filling. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They also have mimosas here. So we ordered some. :) They give you a small bottle of champagne with fresh orange juice.
