She was very nice, an testing went smoothly. Dr.Chaudhry was super thorough! I have worn glasses since I was about 1, and I don't ever recall having such a thorough exam. So thorough she found an issue I need to address with a Retina specialist! She took the time to explain the concerns, and proper treatment moving forward. Then there is Jason, he was the star of the visit. He was amazing in picking out frames, running cost through insurance, and just answering all questions and concerns we had! He was really a joy to work with! Very pleasant experience, glad took the plunge and switched!

The optometrist was fun and energetic. The assistant who helped out on the floor helped me understand my options and the different things I was billed for with contacts and eyewear and the exam. They had a pretty large selection of glasses but a lot of them strangely seemed the same. That was my only real disappointment ... not finding a pair of glasses I loved. However, I mostly wear contacts so it wasn't a deal-breaker by any means. The only thing that might bother someone if they aren't easily mobile is I did go to a few different rooms for my exam which I had never experienced. I went to a waiting room, another room (and multiple seats) for some things, another room to change my contacts, another room to test my vision ... it was fine for me, but maybe not so much if you can't hop in and out of a seat quickly.

The OD, Richard Schwartz, did everything the MD always did, with more efficiency and just as much professionalism. Done in half the time. I was impressed. My results are being faxed to my primary doctor. Unless I develop some medcal condition that requires medical attention, I'll continue with Target Optical on Delaware Avenue. In addition to a 45-minute eye exam visit, including all wait times, I was able to pick out my new frames and be measured for lens accuracy instead of having to go to some other place for glasses. And the assistant, Letitia, who waited on me helped me choose frames that fit both my desires and my insurance needs. She was most courteous and friendly and knowledgeable. I'll have my new specs (driving and reading) in about 2 weeks. If I'm not 100% happy with them, I'll update this review.

I was shown the image of my optic nerve and macula, which was pretty neat! (I don't recall my regular provider, Fichte Optometry showing me my eye health transparently, with images and in real-time). All test results are sent electronically to an on-call optometrist, who remotely pops in on a large TV screen to discuss the results. This all happened efficiently and seamlessly. In fact, my results were reviewed by two optometrists who helped fine-tune my prescription. The in-person technician, Christian, was nice, polite, and very good at his job. The eyeglass salesperson was also extremely helpful and friendly...a truly genuine, nice, caring gentleman. I hope that more people find out about and use this place. I know that I will be back next year for sure. Oh, and anyone complaining about the parking, I parked farther away and walked. It was no big deal. Great experience!!!
