I'm not absolutely certain how I started going there, perhaps convenience, but when I started to need help with reading there is where I went. After so many years the service has never once wavered. If I was dealing with Dave and learning about contact lenses, he was patient and helped me every step of the way until I found the ones that worked best for me. Dan is the consummate professional, and never forgets names, faces or to ask how the rest of the family are doing. Dawn is my personal fashion and design assistant. She knows what works for me and what my style esthetic is. But she also will pull things that are out of the box that I will love but may not have noticed on my own. And what's so important is that she knows what I don't like on my face, anything that's too small. She's honest enough to tell me when I try a frame that I like but it's not the right size for my face, rather than letting me buy something that reflects badly on me and then on the business as well, she will tell me "that's to small of a frame" and I am very grateful regardless of how much I may like the frame. Are the glasses more expensive than other glasses? Perhaps. But you aren't just buying a name for a names sake.You are truly buying the very best companies of their kind in the world. Names that are known by people who truly know quality as opposed to a label. And to be perfectly honest on the occasion when I have gone and bought glasses at a chain( because I was using my insurance at that time, buy the time everything was added up, there wasn't much of a difference really in cost. Beautiful clean, well lit building. Was greeted upon entering. Was about 20 minutes early for my appointment, but soon as walked was greeted and a minute later Katie came out to do some pre testing. She was very nice, an testing went smoothly. Dr.Chaudhry was super thorough! I have worn glasses since I was about 1, and I don't ever recall having such a thorough exam. So thorough she found an issue I need to address with a Retina specialist! She took the time to explain the concerns, and proper treatment moving forward. Then there is Jason, he was the star of the visit. He was amazing in picking out frames, running cost through insurance, and just answering all questions and concerns we had! The Dr. answered all of my questions very thoroughly and it was a great experience for an eye exam for someone who does not do well with having things close to my eyes. It's taken nearly three weeks, and they're still not available. But, yes, I'll still get my eyes examined there. Apparently, they broke in transit. Or they broke when the staff was putting in the lenses. Or perhaps it never got ordered properly. It doesn't matter what the reason is -- I don't have the expensive frames I paid for. The worst part is that *I* had to call and ask if the glasses were ready, only to find out there was a problem. Were the staff forthcoming about the problem? Were they proactive in telling me? Were they stepping-up to resolve the problem? Did they keep me in the loop? No. *I* got concerned that they had forgotten to call me to tell me the frames and lenses were ready. So I called for an update. And only then was I informed there was a problem. And any updates are still communicated only when I make the phone calls; they're not initiated by the staff. Anyways -- get your eyes examined here. Good, professional examination, and he genuinely cares about his patients. Get your eyes examined, get the prescription in your hand, and order lenses and frames elsewhere or even online; you'll get better service that way. (Yes, even online).
