Then when I forced my way into an appointment - after I told him my eye was blind - he did find the issue he sent me to a hack specialist that was better at treating dogs. Terrible recommendation. Lindsey at the front desk has been so nice. My first appointment over a year ago, I showed up the wrong day and she very quickly was able to fit me in with very little wait, that's unheard of. She has printed out paperwork for me today and did so with such kindness, I wish everyone could be more like her when dealing with people. Nancy Coa is amazing too, although she did tell me I was old at my first appointment,( I needed readers). And my doctor, Mary Ellen Loughrey is the absolute best!!! She always listens and has taught me more about my eyes than I ever knew about. I can't say enough good about these women!! This office is wonderful. The only issue I have here is there is one person checking everyone in, and this is a very busy office. Paulette, I believe her name is, is the person in this role. She needs to stop loudly complaining about the "new computer system" and speed up her own processes. The long wait to check in is due to her need to kvetch to the other woman(who checks you out), and Paulette does it with every patient. Most of the people seen here are elderly, and if you arrive later in the day, they will be quite backed up. Plan accordingly. I love Dr Ram, and all of the clinical staff.

I have had five of my…read moreappointments canceled at the Niagara Falls Retina specialist office in the past year, usually because he's taking the day off and recently he's taking the week off. when they give you another appointment, it's usually months down the road, instead of fitting you in and moving other appointments around. I feel when you have a serious eye condition like AMD It should be watched closely. Not sure what's going on with him, but I finally had enough and scheduled with another doctor. Unless he has an illness of his own, I don't feel that his patients take priority over his own personal life.

Dr Paul Lee performed emergency surgery on me for retina detachment. Faced with sudden loss of…read morevision was certainly disconcerting and Dr Lee diagnosed my detachment and presented options and risks in a most thorough and professional manner. I opted for immediate injection of a gas bubble in the affected eye. This was followed by 3 sessions of laser surgery needed to weld the retina back in place. It as not comfortable to remain still in an upright position for a month as instructed by the good doctor, but I am sure glad I did! After 6 weeks and 3 surgeries my vision is returning to normal. I am indebted to Dr Lee for his demeanor, expertise and skillful treatments. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!
