The contacts probably took about 2 weeks to come in after being ordered, but they would always give an extra pair or two if you were concerned you might not make it until then. The doctor at this location is Dr. Anthony Trzepkowski, and I do not think that he is a bad doctor, but his interactions with patients could improve. The chair that you sit in to be examined was always referred to as the big Lazy-Boy chair for me and my dad, which I found nothing wrong with, and as a child made me more comfortable. However when both my mom and older sister would go, it was always referred to as the "Big Princess Chair." Both my mom and sister felt that this may be the way Dr Tony talks to everyone, but it still is not enjoyable being talked to like a child, as an adult. I am confident that Dr Tony is a capable and competent eye doctor, I just feel that his mannerisms are more ideal for treating children than adults.

Changing doctors to "see" Dr. Komm was a god send! He made me laugh, listened to my concerns, and always had the time to see me regardless of his schedule of patients! About a year and a half ago I returned to Gary's after moving back to Lewiston with a new script. I explained to Gary that I was going out of town for the Christmas holidays and really hoped I could get the new glasses since I was having difficulty with my current script. This was on a Wednesday and I was leaving on the following Monday. I picked up the new glasses on Saturday. Another time the lens fell out of the frame and the screw was lost. It was late in the day and I got to Gary's about 5 or 10 minutes after they had closed. The lights where still on so I knocked on the door. Gary let me in and fixed my glasses within 10 minutes. PLEASE TRY THEM OUT. YOU WON'T BE SORRY.

I had made calls to several different places being told they were mostly booking 2-3 months ahead. As I just lost my glasses, and my last prescription was too out of date to use again I was in a huge hurry to order glasses for driving, etc. Wheatfield Eye Care fit me in only having to wait 1 day. I was examined by Brunilde Matuszak, O.D. She, and her husband Brian, are both on staff to do examinations at this shop they own. Brunilde was very thorough and patient, taking the time to compare different strengths as many times as was necessary to ensure I received the very best prescription. She also explained all she was doing as she went along, and made me feel very comfortable at all times. I received my order just a few days later and am just thrilled with them. I'm convinced it was Brunilde's thoroughness that has provided me with the best vision I've ever had. Thank You so much for making time to take care of me so promptly. He is absolutely excellent at contact lens adjustment. At other practices, I have to go 2 or 3 times to get the fit for hard contacts right, but he gets it just right on the first try. Optometrist gave RX ot did not come back right then another person who claimed to be an optometrist looked at eyes, took measurements and changed RX now the lab is completely confused. Left with no glasses and finally got a refund foe glasses only (which was another screw up) and now I have to pay out of pocket for another exam. I am a senior and $100 is a lot fir me. Terrible place, don't go
