Not just dumped from a can with a little bit of salt, but real southern cooking. All of that food for less than $100 before tip. The fish was mild, cut in a thick filet and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp was also perfect and very pleasing. It was all served with a grilled piece of bread that went well with the meal. It's good to have these folks in Bryan. I would definitely dine at Remnant of Nawlins again.

The avocado chicken breast had very little avocado, but as dry as the chicken breast looked, it was actually pretty juicy. Overall, for cheap eats and for some pretty good food, come support this business and bring a patch if you are first responder as it appears they collect them on their wall. I should've brought my patch from Hawaii for them. The staff were all friendly and fast. Lots of parking outside and lots of tables to dine on. All of the cocktails were exceptional, and despite a rocky start to our night, the staff at Ronin managed to eventually find us a small table during an opening in reservations, which made it perfect for us. Our waitress Elena was young, bubbly, and not to be found without a smile on her face. My steak was perfectly cooked, although with a small bite or two of tough gristle, and my chicken was soooo tender. The broccoli had a great crunch and wasn't soggy, the mashed potatoes were hearty and tasted great without a drop of gravy. Their house salad was shockingly good and almost a full meal despite being a side. I also had a nice mimosa. I was glad to have my opinion turned around.
