After 3 years of giving Sani my business, today was the last day. 20 minutes prior to my dog's appointment, I received the following message: "We are on our way I have a new groomer because of my wrist and shoulder problem She is very professional don't worry about that and I will be there" This of course took me by surprise, I agreed since she said she would be there. 20 minutes pass and she shows up in her personal vehicle with her dog in the car and the new groomer driving the van. We said our hellos and I quickly met the new groomer and went inside. About and hour into my dog's appointment, I get a text stating the following: "I think her right ear has infection". I became super concerned and walked outside and stood by the van. I texted her saying I'm by the van so I can see for myself. The next thing I see is Sani coming out of her personal car from the back seat. I was honestly shocked as she said she would be with the new groomer. Sitting in her vehicle with the sun shades on her windshield, she proceeds to walk toward the van. I was super upset because I don't know anything about this new groomer and she was not with her at all. I tell her this and she said not to worry that she trusts her. This was already a huge red flag as I don't care who she trusts, I trust my 3 years of experience with Sani and the reviews from other clients. I know nothing about this new person. I go back inside for a bit and then once it was getting closer to the usual end time, I stood by the van door. To my surprise, yet again, I now see Sani with her groomer's vest on. She made a snarky comment (as she does every appointment) about the areas I cut matted hair on my dog. I told her she's not a show dog and it's hardly noticeable. Then I told her that I wasn't happy about everything that happened today. She continues to say that she was here and that she trusts the new groomer. I asked her how long she's been working with this new groomer for, she tells me 2 months. I said why didn't you tell me this when we booked the appointment 3 days ago. She had nothing to say. I also said the only reason she went in the van is because I caught her sitting in her car! I told her this is the last time we would be getting services from her. Such a shame as she has always been sweet to my dog. Today she betrayed my trust and disrespected me as a client of 3 years. read more

They should not be allowed around animals at all! My wife and I looked to hire a groomer for our two dogs, a chow and terrier mix. My wife researched here on yelp and this one had a realistic bid (so we thought as she just shaved them both). I explained carefully to the groomer that chows are not supposed to be shaved and to clip. She said she felt a knot behind the chows ears and wanted to shave her. I again explained that it is unhealthy for chows it be shaved. I have personally clipped out these knots for both thus and my previous chow in one minute, there is no excuse for a professional grooming service not be able to do the same. Sadly this groomer decided to do what she wanted instead, hurt our dog! Two hours later (using our power outlet for their van) the groomer returned with our chow fully shaved except for the head. I asked why she did the exact opposite of what I asked and informed the groomer that now the dog has to be indoors for the summer due to sensitive easily burnable skin. She said that she had to and left it at that. Any groomer or familiar with chows at all should know enough about them to not willfully put them in danger as this lady did. Unfortunately for us and our dog this woman lied about knowing how to groom chows. Not only does this woman have no remorse for damaging our dog, she is arguing with us after getting full payment. Basically she still doesn't act as if she did anything wrong. It is sad that she decided to take the low road and bad mouth us for giving her $175 worth of business. Simi Valley pet lovers deserve better than this poor service. Even if it is out of ignorance, this woman is okay with lying about her skills and damaging your pets for money. If you care for your animals stay far away. read more
