I just moved to the area and needed a groomer for my Golden Retriever, and Mandy at Canine Castle did an AMAZING job! I requested a bath and outline trim and my boy looks and smells so good! I told him he's more handsome than when I dropped him off and he smiled. :) Mandy was very thorough and explained the places she found knots and pointed out which of his toesies had brittle nails, I really appreciate the attention to detail. The grooming salon was nicely decorated for the holidays and clean, and when I walked in there were two well behaved dogs on the table with their groomers pampering them. The parking is plentiful and in a clean open lot. Overall, I highly recommend Canine Castle! Mandy and the other two ladies will take care of your pet with kindness and care.
They do an awesome job. As a first time customer, I would certainly recommend their grooming services. First off, when I called, they answered their phone and they were able to give me an appointment the same day. I called another place and left a message, unfortunately, didn't get a return call until the end of the day. Upon arrival, I found all the staff to be friendly and professional. They informed me it would take an hour and they would call me when they were finished. After running a few errands, I heard from them, I was very satisfied with their promptness. Stephanie, was the groomer and she did a fantastic job. I found her very nice and very good with my dog. I thought the price was very reasonable for what I had done.
This is bit of a drive for me but I really wanted to get an appointment in with Tiffany C. She did an AMAZING job and was so gentle with my mini golden doodle. Totally recommend this place, everyone was so friendly and my dog looks adorable! 10/10
06/24 update, 5 years after my original post. Kida passed on over 2 years ago and we continue to take our other 3. All had their first grooming experiences with Carley, and yesterday was Amy. Having your dogs jump out of the car and happily waggle their way to their spa day is priceless! Very Very happy with Canine Castle, we'll never go anywhere else!
They did such a great job! The staff was so friendly. My dog has had some bad doodle cuts before so I'm always a little nervous but he came out looking so cute. I will definitely be back!
I brought my two dogs here today, as my previous groomer closed, and recommended them. One of my dogs weighs 16 pounds, the other 23. I got the text they were ready and almost had a heart attack! 152.00!!!! I have never paid more than 55.00 each, here in Simi. I asked the groomer why are you so expensive and she said it depends on the size and temperament. Well my dogs are not big, and very good with every groomer I've ever taken them to. With tip, 162.00! I don't have big dogs, as you can see by the picture. While they did do a nice job, I won't be coming here again. This is Simi Valley not Beverly Hills.

Mandy is amazing and has been taking such great care of my puppy, Griffin. You can truly tell how much she cares, and I always feel completely comfortable leaving him with her. Every experience has been wonderful--she consistently goes above and beyond. I highly recommend her! read more

Katherine is amazing and she always does such a wonderful job with my fur baby. My dog is very anxious and tends to be a bit difficult during bath time. I struggle with a lower back injury/chronic back pain which meant I couldn't groom my girl on my own anymore. I brought her to Canine Castle and booked with Katherine. I have been taking my doggo to her ever since and I won't take her anywhere else. I know that when I leave my pup at Canine Castle I can trust that she is safe and well taken care of. read more

This is a spectacular place for your dog to be taken care of. The staff is warm and welcoming, and they tailor the groom based on each dogs individual needs! I would definitely recommend it.!!!! read more

Been taking my dogs here for many years! They always do a great job with their grooming services. Price is comparable to other groomers in the area. Most of all, they get my dogs in and out of there in a timely manner. read more
Been going to canine castle (Jessica) for my two dogs for almost two years now. I have a 60lb goldendoodle and a 17lb aussiedoodle and i absolutely love how they groom my dogs and how adorable they look afterwards! I prefer keeping my dogs hair on the shorter end cause of the valley heat and always love how they look! Added few photos for reference (and a before photo of my aussie) read more

I brought in my 10 month old Shih Tzu last Friday and so impressed with this place. All staff members extremely friendly and place very clean place. The owner Carley was very professional and did an amazing job on Kiwi. She looked so adorable and beautiful. And this was not an easy haircut as she was this little fur ball and unfortunately a little matted. Carley did the perfect Teddybear haircut not too short and not too long, perfect for summer. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to anyone that has a dog. Thank you for taking such good care of Kiwi! read more

They're so quick with my 7 month old pupper. They take into consideration of how they're feeling at the time. The process is easy and everything is done mostly out of the door because of COVID (which I like). My favorite part is that my doggo comes back with a bandana every time! read more

I stopped in for the first time today with my 11 y/o Chihuahua mix, Nugget. She got a nail trim and gland expression which was a very reasonable $15 plus tip. The groomer did a fantastic job with my nervous pup and I plan to go back when she needs another trim. Well done! read more

I was in search of a new groomer for our pup, Canine Castle had positive reviews and decided to give them a try! I definitely think they did an amazing job on our girl She's a poodle/terrier mix and was a hot mess..lol. I'm so pleased on the cut, wasn't to short nor left to long..it was a perfect cut! My Lucy has always been so nervous and scared of new people. She was scared at first going to a new place that it took a few hours for grooming, but Canine Castle was so patient with my dog. Now Lucy recognizes this place and is ok going for a groom. They did such a great job with her trim and making her so pretty. We definitely recommend Canine Castle! read more

After recently moving to Simi, I was sad to have to find a new dog groomer, because it can be nerve wracking leaving your pup somewhere new! It because even harder when I couldn't find a shop that would let me make an appointment with anything less that a week and a half or two week's notice. I found Canine Castle on Yelp, and after looking at reviews, and being able to get an appointment(!) I took my pup to their shop. It was a wonderful experience! My dog doesn't like the groomer, and she was obviously concerned when I passed her over the counter to a stranger, but they were able to get her washed and cut in short order! She came home fresh and clean, and with her best haircut yet!! Plus she was completely herself after the experience. I have had some not so great grooming experiences where my dog was almost shell shocked from the treatment, but instead she came back happy and loving, just like when she was dropped off. Thank you Canine Castle, we will definitely be returning! Bonus! I loved the bandana they gave her too! Super cute!! read more

Recommended by a friend who takes her yorkies here...Our first experience was for sure five star worthy! Debbie & Carley are so sweet and were great with my little Jax! They welcomed him with love and comfort. He was very happy when I picked him up and looked so cute! They did exactly what I requested, a bath w/a little "clean up" trim. Thank you so much! The price was fair and a lower than the competition but honestly I don't mind paying a little more if I love the service and again I was recommend to come here by a friend and I highly recommend read more
