We've been bringing our dog here for several years, and while the staff has always been incredibly friendly and kind, the quality of the haircuts has recently declined. Lately, the grooming feels rushed and less polished.. for example, the beard length was uneven, the tail was cut bluntly without shaping, and the hair on the bridge of the nose looked roughly trimmed rather than blended. At the same time, prices have increased by about $30 over the past couple of years, which makes the drop in quality more disappointing. Disappointing Experience - Please Read Before Booking I'm sharing this so other pet owners can be aware and make informed decisions. I had a very upsetting experience with this grooming business that I feel should be addressed. My puppy had been groomed here before by Sydney, and everything went smoothly. Based on that, I decided to return. Unfortunately, the second visit was completely different. After the grooming, my puppy came home sneezing, scratching at his nose, and visibly uncomfortable for over an hour. Naturally, I was concerned and called to ask what products were used so I could avoid them in the future. The older woman who works the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of showing concern, she repeatedly said, "There's nothing else we can tell you" and offered to rewash him, with no empathy at all. Despite my hesitation, I gave the place another try. I waited in my car for over an hour-much longer than past appointments, which usually took about 30 minutes. I eventually went inside and asked if someone could check or my dog. A staff member kindly went to ask, but again, the same staff member came out and snapped, "Your dog's not ready yet," in a very harsh tone. When I mentioned that previous visits had taken less time, she rudely said, "That's why we text you," and walked off. I decided to wait patiently inside. A few minutes later, I heard loud yelping coming from the back that sounded just like my puppy. It went on long enough to alarm me. That same woman suddenly walked through the doors, slammed them behind her, and within two minutes handed me my dog without a word. It had only been 13 minutes since she said it would take 30. Clearly, something happened and they rushed to finish. My puppy still had food on his face, his hair was tangled, and he seemed stressed. I just wanted to leave. Afterward, I messaged Sydney, explaining I'd like to speak to her directly. Instead, I kept receiving texts from other staff members trying to handle the situation without letting me talk to Sydney. I was polite but firm in saying I wanted to speak with her directly. Three days later, I still never received a call back. This entire experience-from the dismissiveness and lack of accountability to the visible stress on my puppy-was incredibly disappointing. I've spent a lot of money here on grooming and retail, and I expected a basic level of professionalism and care. Sadly, that was not the case. I'm sharing this so others can be fully informed before choosing where to take their pets. I truly wish it had gone differently. read more
