I could only give 3 stars , I am so picky about my dog groomers. I was referred to them from a friend. So I went into the facility instead of calling to get the feel and have all my questions answered. So I went through all the details of how they work. Price packages, Cages or pens. ? how much time it might take, I Just needed a feel on the place. So they have different packages and prices on the counter. The girls said my Dog sounds like he would be the $55.00 dollar package. I made a appointment for today . So to be fair the staff seemed nice. I was told my dog did great. But the surprise to me was the $55.00 went to $80.00. I asked why and was upset, It goes by size. She pointed to the writing on the poster. I am older and could not even read the little writing. Also it was soft writing to blend in no contrast, I felt mislead. I told her that why I came on in person Told her about my dog and size and what I wanted . She just kept saying it will be the $55.00 package. NOTHING SAID OF IT GOES BY SIZE, So I ask for the owner and he also was well its here in writing and on the flyers we have. I said it very hard to read and that why I cam in in person to understand the prices and your grooming procedures, He was not nice at all and said I can knock $5.00 dollars off. lol and told me it would be more at Pet Smart. I told him it was not about the money and don't want his $5.00 back, If the girl would have explained it to me correctly and I understood I would have gladly paid the $80.00 . So what he failed to understand was it how I felt now about leaving my dog with them, Now I don't trust them. We Cosmopawlitan! We bring our pup, Loki, here for grooming and to play at the Bark Park. The staff is friendly, and the facility is very clean and well decorated. Loki always looks great after seeing the groomer--she does such a great job. Now that Loki has been here several times to play at daycare, he really looks forward to coming. He runs off to the play area without even looking back at us. We really enjoy how nice the employees are and how well they take care of Loki. This place has demonstrated they do not really care for their pets or pet owners. To begin with, prices are ridiculous. I paid additional for teeth brushing the last few times but unsure it really happened because there was no change or difference that we could see. Second, even though they have been grooming my 9-10 pound malti-poo since they opened, the last grooming she had on 2/16, they sent me a text that my dog was ready for pickup oh and by the way they are dropping her because she is "aggressive" and sorry but I should find a mobile groomer. Wow. Just wow. Really???!!? First off she has never ever been aggressive in her life, and second they have always described her as super sweet but just scared of being groomed. Was that true or is what they say now true? I have been loyally bringing my dogs here since the day they opened and for them to act as if she bit someone? Interesting because when we picked her up her face was still not completed and she a pretty big cut on her leg... Now I'm wondering how they have really been treating her since she has always been fearful to come here and we thought it was just because she just didn't like getting groomed. That was over a year ago & it's my poms favorite place to go to every month. They're such a safe place for my furbaby, so professional & truly do love their fuzzy client's. They offer so many thing's for your furbabies from daycare & grooming to the cutest outfits in all sizes. My Pomeranian looks absolutely amazing when I pick her up & she's always happy. The staff is beyond caring & accommodating. My pom gets the teddybear cut & she looks absolutely adorable every time. So many thing's available from baths to pet sitting & day spa. I wish I could give Cosmopawlitan 10 stars but only 5 are available. I highly recommend this amazing place for your four legged babies. I called and spoke with a woman and was told that the wash/groom would be $65. So, I made an appointment and came in. The front desk lady (Mindy?) asked me a bit coldly what I was here for. I said I had an appointment for a wash/groom. She pointed to the TV screen menu and said "so you want the Pina Poochlada?" I said yes, "I suppose that's the one" since it had a $65 price tag. When I came to pick up my dog, my dog wasn't out, instead, Mindy was at the desk. I asked if Molly was ready. She pointed to the credit card screen and said it was $80. I was surprised and said there must be an error since I was told $65. She brought the husband (Luis?) and wife (Syndi) out. I explained the situation, and Syndi said "don't you see the plus sign next to the $65? It's also on our website. She said your dog was also very difficult so I could've charged you $20 extra, but I'm not." I told them that I was willing to pay the $65 as I was told. In an effort to compromise, I told them I would pay $70. Luis was calm, but he said he would need to call the police. I said that would be fine, but that it seemed like a waste of the police's time to come for a $10 dispute. Luis settled it at $75. I paid it. Mindy and Sydni were extremely rude and cold. They claimed that they've never had any issue with a customer before (but I see a few negative reviews here). read more

I've been going to Sydni for over a year now. I work in the pet industry and a few months ago I started at a new pet store that offers grooming. The groomer there is great and knowledgeable and is willing to do my blue heelers for free. But you know what? I still choose to pay to go to Sydni! The decor is so nice, the packages and add ons are so fun, and they always leave with a fun little accessory, and a huge smile. She's always able to fit them in, their nails are always done amazingly--and I've done their nails and seen my coworker do their nails and I promise they don't make it easy. The prices cannot be beat especially considering what a high quality job she does. I'm currently saving up to try out the daycare for my Pepper. If you're thinking of finding a new groomer search no more! She's the best!!! Like I said I can get free grooming from another good groomer but Sydni is so awesome I pay and go to her! read more

Our standard size 7 month old Bernadoodle coat was getting out of control. His vision was impaired by the long hair and he required daily brushing. I brought him by Cosmopawlitan to get an estimate on a Wednesday and was pleased to get an appointment that Friday. I explained exactly what I wanted when I dropped him off and a few hours later I received a text that he was ready to be picked up. He looked so handsome, happy and comfortable with his new cut. I highly recommend Cosmopawlitan for all your grooming needs! I've been coming here for a few years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I have two Shiba Inus who are not the easiest to deal with and who shed constantly. The staff here are just amazing with my fur babies, so sweet and patient. My little ones always come back looking perfectly groomed, no more clumps of loose fur, nails are trimmed and they smell terrific!!! I recently moved back to Simi. I was in Camarillo and we had a mobile groomer who is amazing, but sadly doesn't travel to Simi. I read the reviews of this place and thought, "perfect". My girl is a senior, 15 and she only needed a basic bath and maybe a little trimming. She had just been groomed 4 wks ago, so she wasn't matted or too shaggy. We typically do every 6 wks, but we were going out of town, so I wanted her groomed/cleaned before we left for 2 weeks. Anyway, this place had her for over 4 hrs. I dropped her off at 1:40 (yes, I was 10 mins late, since we were coming from Ventura). I called at 5:10, because I hadn't heard anything yet and they said they were just finishing her up. I know she is a bit difficult, because of her age, but I'm not sure why it took over 4 hours. read more
