Casey and the team here are hardworking, and the shop is great with lots of work stations for multiple dogs to be groomed at the same time and very straightforward. We have three dogs, so finding a great groomer who is also reasonably priced is no easy task! Two of our dogs are large Shepherd mixes with a LOT of hair, and our third is a Labradoodle who needs regular monthly grooming and haircuts. They do an absolutely wonderful job with all three! She communicated great with us the day before to let us know when she would be arriving the next day. On the day of the grooming, she called to give us a heads up that she was on her way. She came in to get to know our dog, a 15lb dachshund mix and establish a rapport with her. My dog took to her right away! My dog is 10 years old and has some joint/nerve issues in her back hips, and started to show some sensitivity while Sherry was clipping her nails. Sherry was very compassionate and patient with my dog, but ultimately decided my dog was too distressed to continue, which is completely understandable. With my help, she offered to finish clipping my dog's nails and got rid of the mats, but honored her commitment to come out and at least help with something. She offered great advice on how to work with our dog in stages to get her more comfortable with the grooming process. I appreciated that she was honest with me about my dog's agitation rather than just man-handling her through the process, potentially traumatizing her further. Even in the short time I watched Sherry work with my dog, she seemed very knowledgeable on dog behavior and showed a true passion for her profession, and thats enough for me to be a repeat customer! Aggies does not groom large dogs but I have two little ones under 15 pounds so if you have a large dog you will need to search elsewhere. My dogs usually are only there for an hour maybe an hour and a half. They take such good care of my dogs and I can tell the groomer loves dogs. No more shaking, trembling puppers when I pick them up. She also does an amazing job grooming them. I will be a customer for a long time. She books up fast so you need to make your next appointment as soon as you pick up your dog.
