Who doesn't love Costco for the deals and food court! What's not a good deal... waiting 25 min for a whole pizza at Costco only to have the lady be totally rude to you after you ask for it demanding if it has been at least 10-15 min. Then you hear her say to someone else they didn't make it, then she doesn't come back and talk to you but she folds five pizza boxes and then goes over and starts filling other orders. You put up with this for another minute and ask her. "Did you make the pizza?" She says "no" you ask "when we're you going to tell me" she says " I was going to fill these other orders first". ‍ Manager offers you a full refund on all you food which you state just the pizza I'm not looking for anything free... he comes back offers no apology but hands you your card and shows you the refund receipt and walks away. read more

Common, who does not LOVE Costco? I mean it's an institution in my family anyways. From cheap lunch, to free snacks, comfy chairs to test, great shorts (if you ever wonder how I source my amazing collection of shorts...now you know), good deals on booze, baked goodies, some of my favorite electronics, peanut butter, carrots, and more Ling Ling pot stickers than I can eat in a year! So yea..this place is cool. An inside food court, a more traditional, unlike the California variants that have them all outside (more business (you don't have to be a member) and the weather is more consistently warm). But I like the walled approach of the inside court, makes you feel more special. Very friendly folks here. Lots of parking, and plenty of open space to wander, and enojoy the marvel that is the glory of American capitalism. Gotta love it! read more

Waited 2 weeks to get an appointment for tires. They made me wait 20 minutes in line then informed me the installation would take 2 hours, then argued with me about the correct torque specs for the lug nuts, which I got straight out of the owners manual. Then they refused to give me paperwork before the car was done so that I could get to another appointment as soon as my vehicle was ready. Now I have to reschedule my other appointment since I'm late. Awful, awful service. Not even an apology, just excuses. This is the last time I come here. read more

I love Costco. This one has especially helpful staff, the prices are great, and I've had great experiences with everything from photos to pharmacy to the food court. Where else can you feed two adults quickly for under ten dollars? They also have great prices on gasoline and their tire center is great, although they seem to always be busy as a result so I'd suggest making an appointment. read more

Disappointed in the tire center. Called three weeks in advance for a rotation and balance appointment. I showed up early to my appointment which they apparently couldn't find. They said they could still get me in, but it would be "one and a half hours give or take". I waited two hours and fifteen minutes before I got my car back all because they failed to save my appointment. I had a long wait when I came in to order tires and another long wait when they put the tires on, I thought this time would be better. Third frustrating experience in a row, won't buy tires or get my vehicle serviced here again. read more

This review is specifically about the tire department. This morning I made an appointment to get a flat tire patched. They told me their last available appointment today was 4:00. Ok, not super convenient, but I'll make it work. I arrive at 4:00 and hear the Costco employee tell the people ahead of me that it will take 90 minutes because they're really backed up. Glad I made an appointment! I give the woman my name, she finds my appointment and says, "it will be an hour. I'm sorry, we're really backed up." Ok, fine, these things happen. Fast forward to an hour later. I arrive back at the tire center to pick up the car. They have *just* started working on my car. An hour after my appointment time. When I ask what the point of making an appointment is, the supervisor says, "we don't make appointments at 4:00." Huh. Really? Why is my name in your book then? He also asks me if there's a nail in the tire. No, it popped. There's a huge hole. "Oh, ok, we can't find it. I'm sure we will," he replies. 30 minutes later, I get a phone call. "Where did you get those tires?" "It's a 2015 Nissan. They came with the car." "Oh. We don't sell that kind and we can't fix this. You can buy 4 new tires though..." When I picked up the car, the supervisor informed me that my tires were "half-bald" and claimed that Nissan must have sold me a brand new car with used tires. Unfortunately for Costco, I'm not an idiot. The tires are fine. I asked for my car back and left. TL;DR: they'll try to convince you to replace tires that have 11,000 miles on them. They lie and up sell. Avoid. Update: Took the car to Discount Tire this morning. They agreed that the hole couldn't be patched, but informed me that my tires were "practically brand new" and they could easily replace one tire without throwing off the AWD computer. Took them 10 minutes. Update 2: I called the store manager and told her about my treatment. She was horrified. She apologized and said she would follow up. And then she offered to pay for my new tire. She also mentioned that they're in the process of changing the management in the tire center, so hopefully this won't happen again. So to be clear the 1 star is for my treatment at the tire center. I give Costco 5 stars overall for how they fixed the situation. read more

I do enjoy shopping at Costco. Yeah there are only two of us, but we aren't buying the 5lb. bags of rice either. We like the produce, some of the frozen food selections, the cheaper video games, movies, books, clothes, and other household items. I even purchased my glasses here and folks my glasses are cool. Went here today and decided to grab lunch. Mistake. I'm not sure what's happening there, but I've been a loyal customer for 20+ years. Never had a frozen yogurt like this. It's got a nice layer right up against the clear plastic cup, a little blob over the top. So once you eat the top, it's completely hollow inside. All air. I asked them what was going on with the empty middle and they said, "Oh, we always do that. We have a new manager and they have us weigh everything." BS. read more

I give Costco 3 stars because I do love buying a lot of my meat and certain organic items there at at a discounted price. But it never fails they run out of certain items that I buy all the time. I don't understand why they don't do a better job of keeping their popular items stocked at all times! They also give us a membership refund at the end of every year so it makes it a great place to buy bulk for a good price. Make sure you go on Saturday or Sunday and you can try plenty of samples. Costco, well if you haven't tried the wearhouse shopping experience, this is the place to do it. Costco has stores all of the country and you also get access to costco online which allows for purchase of lots of great items that can't be bought in store. Examples include: decaf k-cups, massage tables and funeral stuff, just to give you an idea of how many things they carry. Costco is so good that even idiots are smart enough to know this is a good deal. These idiots can be spotted with their carts wedged sideways blocking the isle, that I inevitability want to go down. They also can be observed hovering around the free sample stations which are numerous and often times a great way to try new stuff. The checkout lines are pretty smooth and most of the cashiers and stock people are pleasent and a pleasure to deal with. The food court area at the end has great deals with: pizza, hot dogs and turkey sandwhichs being my favorites!! read more

The only reason they are getting two stars is because their cashiers are nice. Their customer service desk not so much. I have had to exchange a defective ipad and was treated not so nice when I went in. Finally a manager agreed to take it back after I had left the store. Had to go back and was still questioned and made to feel like I was a bother. Here I go with the second one I exchanged if for. Glitchy and I have to go back. I tried to contact corporate because of my last experience and they tell me that they can't do anything if it's bought in the warehouse. So why have a corporate office. I would not suggest going on the weekends unless you are a big fan of free food samples. I go to this Costco often. I have had issues in the past because of really poor service in the tire area. Too many cars in for tires and rotation and staff that is not friendly. Also, most of the checkout clerks are not overly friendly either. However, that said, I like Costco for its prices and this is a newer one. I also get annoyed that there is always a large line to get out of Costco because they have to check your receipt. Is this necessary? We are all paid members, and I can go in and out of any other store without this annoyance. read more

Super busy Costco. Close parking spots are often difficult to find and the lines are long during peak hours but if you go at just the right time it can be hassle free. My only complaint is they should provide blinders with the shopping carts. I can never walk out of there with only my list. More and more organic items, perfect photo and pharmacy prices and now they take credit cards at the snack bar! Automotive has fixed a leaky tire for me for free. How could you not be a Fan of Costco? Yes, the crowds can be nuts there, but that is because everyone likes Costco. We are just a couple, and some of the sizing does seem insane for just a couple of people, but we do end up doing a lot of our shopping there. Best deal? Whole, freshly roasted chickens, $4.99. we were paying today at the self check out around 5:15ish pm and the two women one with a pink shirt and another with like a world tour '22 shirt there "helping" the costumer were super rude. Not only to us but to everyone checking out. We were told in the process that we aren't aloud to check out more than two times at the self check out and to keep that in mind for next time, which we didn't know but we said thank you and the girl with the world tour shirt said while rolling her eyes "ugh I don't know why people check out multiple orders on one register" and that made me really angry especially since I had family members visiting from out of the country and we genuinely didn't know, we've never had an issue like that anywhere else with self checkouts and besides that, they also kept rolling their eyes at other costumers after helping them and so I made it obvious to look at them and make eye contact and to roll my eyes back at them since that seemed to be the only thing they were good at. read more

I love this place! And lets all admit it...when we go here we end up buying more than we plan. They just have so many good things for a decent price. We mainly go to get groceries...but then I love getting my girls winter jackets, life jackets and other little things. But those are 2 things I won't buy anywhere else. And they have these awesome Contigo water bottles for kids! Now to speak of their gas station. The manager of the gas station that has been there for years is super helpful! I was in yesterday with my daughter and grandson. While standing in line my daughter who is 27 was feeling like she was going ro pass out. She needed to go to the water machine to buy a bottle of water. She looks normal like everyone else, but she has had 2 brain surgeries in the past and gerting ready for another. She walked through where the cashiers check you out. As she was walking back she was coming back to stand with me before we checked out. The woman who was going to box and pack our food into our cart was Extremely out of line. She waived her arms at my daughter and said " I need you to move". My daughter walked through embarrassed. The lady then said " do you not see. The associates name was Esmerelda. We were next in line and the cashier leaned over and said " I am so sorry for what just happened " i started explaining to the nice cashier Karen that my daughter qas going ro pass out and just wanted to get a water bottle. As i was talking with Karen the associate Esmerelda was laughing. By this time i was totally upset. I asked her to quit laughing. She raised her voice and said Im not laughing do you need a box. I asked her to step away from loading my groceries in my cart. She started to argue with me and i againntold her to step away and I will load my own groceries in my cart. She stepped away to stand with unloading the next people in lines food. Again Karen the cashier was apologizing and she looked completely uncomfortable. We told her thank you for being so kind and caring about us. I asked for a manager and talked with him about Esmerelda. He said he would be addressing this, but as i was driving home i was in disbelief that someone can be so rude. We pay for a membership annually and expect to be treated good. Nobody knows what someone else is going through physically and should just be kind to other people. It doesnt matter how busy the store is. Maybe she ahould not be in retail. I will be looking up the CEO of Costco because i pray this doesnt happen to anyone else. Please let me say that Karen the cashier was amazing and so was the manager. I believe his name was Jeremy. So for Esmerelda i dont think she should be able to work with people if she cannot be kind and welcoming. I purchased tires from Costco, I made the appointment to have them put on my car they told me I didn't make an appointment, they called me on the phone to set up another appointment. I go down there same thing, you have no appointment, I already purchased the tires. They told me to pick up the tires and install them myself. I am 50 and have no desire to install them myself. Absolutely love Costco but this store doesn't have clearly marked COVID-19 hours for designated for seniors and first responders. After today I learned that 9-10am is that specific time for high risk and first responders but only after waiting for 10 minutes in the line outside. We all know that the Covid virus has altered our lives. During this challenge, Costco now offers early morning hours to help out the over-60 and the vulnerable population to shop. I think the idea was to help these communities avoid the crowds. We went today, arriving at 8, only to find a line the length of the store. As we looked through the line, one in four of those waiting were clearly under 40. There was no screening of any sort, so essentially, the purpose of this additional shopping time was entirely lost. Though we waited for another half hour, the line never became any shorter as people continued to arrive. I wonder if there would be a way to ensure that only the designated community was able to shop. There was plenty of opportunity to have a Costco employee go through the line to ask shoppers to return during the regularly scheduled shopping hours. In addition, I wonder if the three designated days could be extended to a M-F schedule rather than T-Th. read more

Every single time I'm in there (more than once per week) I see at least one other person like me, and by that I mean someone who ISN'T shopping for the zombie apocalypse. We would love to take our armful of groceries and get out of your store before the ice caps melt the rest of the way. And what is it with you Duggar types, anyway? When you have an overloaded shopping cart the size of an adolescent rhinoceros, and I am standing behind you in line with a carton of blueberries and a pound of turkey, don't you think that inviting me to cut in front of you would help repair some of the karma that you blew by driving here in the large dump truck that you must need to haul all the crap you are buying? While we are on the subject, what exactly are you going to do with two pallets of Eggos? Logistical torture aside, Costco's produce is so much better, and so much less expensive, that I feel stupid anytime I shop anywhere else (like wal-mart, where the polite people are). Clearly the wal-mart thing was a joke, but I wanted to clarify before someone had an aneurism. I'm dead serious about the star rating. I consider their products and prices to be easily five star worthy, but the lack of an express lane is such a glaring flaw in their business model that I am holding out. read more

Avoid the tire center at this location at all costs. Had a tire bought from this center that needed replaced that I only had 20% of credit on a new tire after only using the tire one year? Manager on staff agreed with it as well. Contacted another Costco in superior and the verified I had 80%. May not seem like much but came out to a difference of about $80!! Huge inconsistency here. These guys must get a kick back running scams off people. Definitely reporting this to the corporate office since I usually shop at Costco quite frequently. I am writing a review for the hearing care center within the Thornton Costo What a great experience! This is my husbands third set of hearing aids and to tell the truth i feel it was Melissa's continued support with accessories and adjustments that finally helped him! He was so depressed he wanted to return everything. But, for his very poor hearing, it was the use of the microphone , TV link and multiple adjustments that finally did the trick. This could be a really stupid reason to not like this Costco, but it is backwards to me. Every other Costco, the store layout is flipped. The OCD in me cannot stand going to this one. WOW. Can't believe we have never been to Costco before. The membership services treated us like royalty. The warehouse is huge! We found lots of high end merchandise at great prices. I buy my food from places that actually make food (not factories), so the bulk "food" is lost on me, but the rest of the supplies are great. There are tons of additional services, including blinds and travel, that I will check out. read more
