Mondays is the place to be when it comes to any Costco. I particularly like this place because it is a bit less crowded if you do have to go in it on a weekend. Love that they carry organic foods. The samples you get are very effective because I have reached to buy a thing or two based on that enticement. A plus is not having to keep up with coupons or such, they are automatically deducted during your check-out process. The staff we have encountered is really friendly! read more

Review only for the GAS STATION only stopped here for gas on the way to and from texas, but it is probably the cheapest gas in the dallas area! If you happen to pass through rockwall, definitely stop here because A. its quick and right off the interstate, and B. its next to a raising canes and an innout! YUMS. Costco is Costco. You come to buy stuff in bulk and get deals on high dollar items. The quality and variety tends to be better that Sams Club but it is a Warehouse Store. You get what you expect. The staff here in Rockwall have been helpful as well. No real complaints. read more

This Costco is by far the worse I have been to in the Dallas area. The employees I dealt with in the tire department and checkout had zero customer service experience and the manager of them, Mark, doesn't care. Its hard to believe this store is no where close to the same level as the ones in Plano, Dallas and McKinney. Hopefully Costco makes a change at that location. I will not go back there. read more

I think some of the vendors for Costco are cheating them. The Cape Cod potato chips seem smaller than those I buy at Tom Thumb. The 5 avocados I bought were hard even after three weeks, and 2 had brown veins running through the inside of the avocado, highly unpleasant, had to toss them into the trash at work. Wish I could return for refund but ate what I could from those nasty buggers already. The 2 shirts I bought, flannel, red white and blue, turned thin and super wrinkly after some washing. Makes me think they're of low quality. Plastic wrap and peanut butter were good. Customer service is great. Detergents are good. Prime steaks were ok. Not that flavorful despite the marbled look. It is tender though I find it odd that on the outside, the steaks were a vibrant red and on the inside, after I cut it in half before cooking, looks dull and is a stark contrast to the outside colors. Makes me wonder what they did to the outside to keep that color bright. October 2017 update: Tyson chicken nuggets were salty, need copious amounts of beer to balance out. As a long time Costco shopper both in California and Texas, I must say that this is the best Costco I've ever been to. They have friendly staff who are willing to find items and answers for you. They have better quality products than Sam's Club and better prices (on most items) than the regular grocery stores. I'm a huge fan of their bakery (carrot cake is amazing) too. I've browsed their optical department and am looking forward to purchasing my next pair of glasses from them (don't take insurance, but their prices are unbeatable). Every time I go to this store I wait endlessly to check out. Now at this time a year it is ridiculous that they don't have more lanes open and the do not offer self check out. It's crazy. I avoid this store and drive to Sams much further from my house but worth the trip. read more

This Costco is pretty great. The customer service is usually ok when my family stops in. There are a few lemons in the bunch but there is sugar to make up for that. They have changed a few things that they no longer offer but I will always be a member of Costco. This trip there were many things out of stock that I wanted/needed to purchase. Certain types of pillows, hygiene products, as well as a particular type of water. I hope they improve their stocking problems because this is the second time we've had that issue with this location. I completely understand as this is a very busy store and many people stop in all of the time. There is never a small crowd any time we've been there. read more

I just wanna give a shout out for Rockwall Costco. Went yesterday looking to toilet paper (of course) and they had an organized line process that created a calm environment in these anxious times. They announced they had plenty of TP and also had a sign that said what they didn't have (excellent to help people not go in if they saw they didn't have what they were there for). Each associate was calm and smiling and actively directing us to reduce confusion. Great job Rockwall costco read more

This Costco has very good service and a massive selection of items. Very large selection of TV's! A large food selection as well. They also have a tire center with very good tire prices! There is a pharmacy and optical center as well. The pharmacy does NOT accept GoodRx coupons as of November 2016. Very helpful staff (they will carry items to your car). Good selection of seafood too! We buy the halibut by the bag (a high quality fish, not farm raised) and the lump jumbo crab meat. Roughly, every 2 weeks they have a 'Seafood Road Show' with dungeons crab, snow crab legs, shrimp, lobster tails and other seafood items at a discounted price (but still, seafood is not cheap when it's high quality). I like this Costco better than the one in Plano, Texas. It's less crowded. Lastly, this is a great place to get a 4K TV! Good prices and a good selection. read more

Other than being racially profiled this store is great the other employees were awesome except today the greeter racially profiled us. I understand that it is part of their job to ask to see member id but how come there was 3 white american families in front if us and not one of them was asked to show the member id but when we came up to the entrance she (older white american) asked to see and i didn't hesitate to show her.i understand that its part of the job but how come none of the families in front of us were asked to show the id? Did we get chosen due to being hispanics? Why would some one go into a store not having a member id and if they didn't im sure they would know now a days that a membership is needed to purchase items at a warehouse store like Sams or Costco! Bulk shopping at its finest! As it's just the two of us we really can't throw down with the gusto of a polygamist sect but who doesn't love a 30 pack of toliet paper...screw parking in the garage. Don't even think about not getting a cart...yeah yeah I know you just going in to look, if I had a nickel for every time I just went in to look and wound up with my arms full...a lot of nickels, i'm just saying. If you imbibe (and I know you do) check out the wine selection. I've yet to see samples of booze but i'm lobbying hard for wine parings with the other samples which are a small meal if you get into it. CONS...no credit cards other than I think AMEX, receipt verification can be a little long. Do youself a favor and buy a shed there to store all you future purchases:) read more

I purchased a Business Member Card for the company I work for to buy office supplies and such, thought it would be a great beneficial idea. WRONG. I used the card a total of two times, the second time I used it was the experience that did it in for me. I was there to buy supplies and food for an office Christmas party. I walked up to the checkout counter where I was not greeted or acknowledged; the cashier was chatting with another employee. He scans my card and proceeds to tell me my card has been canceled. No explanation, no assistance, just shoved my groceries to the side and called a manager over and told me to explain to her. She asks me what the problem was so I explain. She takes the card to the back office and leave me standing there for 30 minutes with no answers or anything. I eventually leave because I cannot wait any longer and keep the Christmas Party waiting. I call and tell the customer service desk and tell them I want a full refund for the whole year we paid for and for the card to be officially canceled. The customer service manager explains to me that there is not anything she can do over the phone that I would have to come in, she proceeds to tell me all of this while laughing and using terms such as "literally" and "like" as if she were a high school student, very unprofessional and I could see I was not being taken seriously. Not only did I keep the Christmas party waiting for an hour and some odd minutes we also had to find another option for food since Costco was a disappointment. Worst experience ever. I would not recommend any other business or person for that matter to use the store or give them a penny. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. read more

In the past, I assumed only large families (count, that is) shopped here, because most items come in bulk. The store actually has a decent variety of wine so it's definitely a place to check out if you're having a party. I don't care much for being treated like cattle at the check out, though. The employees do a good job of directing you to the next line by extending their arms to the side so you don't stray. read more

I have been going to Sam's Club since I was a kid and I don't see much of a difference between the two. I know that is the idea but I would rather shop here because on a Saturday afternoon it was less crowded and much cleaner. The parking lot wasn't jam packed and I got a great parking spot so that alone had me in a good mood. I walked in and thought I was in a Sam's Club minus all the people and crazy children running around. Tasty samples were everywhere and influenced me to purchase some thin crust pizza among other things and the employees were very helpful. When I was tasting a sample, a manager even walked up to personally tell me about some deals around the store in a non-pushy sort of way. I found some deals on frozen food but I held out on other things because I was in a hurry. This place is worth the drive. read more

This store has everything you could ever possibly want. The bakery items are the best, made fresh daily. The employees are friendly and the checkout lines move rather quickly, surprisingly for a store that you have to buy everything in bulk. Great samples to! Who could pass those up? read more

Also a former Sam's Club member and now a full fledged Costco member. The pharmacy has great prices with the pharmacist glad to assist. Great coupons sent monthly. They unload my cart @ checkout and will load my vehicle if needed. Products are fabulous, especially the meats and pastries. Super clean and friendly. read more

Love, love , love costco. Since it is only a couple miles from my house, I have no problem just stopping by to pick up one or two items and like most people love the samples. The only con is they don't serve Dr. pepper at the food court. This is Texas - you've got to have Dr. pepper! read more

Just had to share the uplifting moment we witnessed today at Costco in Rockwall today. A young man was busy gathering the empty carts from the pen they are stored in when we arrived. By the time we parked and headed into the store he came up beside us with his long line of empty carts to return for customer use. To our surprise the young man had only one leg and was using crutches to maneuver his way to the store. We were speechless and so proud of him for his hard work under such circumstances. We applaud him for his efforts and the Manager at Costco for giving him a job. Makes us realize our complaining about how bad we have it is selfish when we see actions such as this! read more

Love this place! They are efficient and the pizza and hot dogs are excellent value. I have nothing bad to say about them.

Only been a member since August but have already upgraded our membership to a premier even though we have to drive 20 miles to shop. It's worth it. This store is always clean (even the parking lot) and the staff is super friendly. We have sampled numerous new items, many of which we end up purchasing. We are a couple but have several 4-legged children to feed. We have been buying the Kirkland's dry dog and cat food. I was going with my husband to sign up for membership, we had our 3 month old toy poodle in a carry bag zipped up and was told we could not bring him inside the store. We left and felt like we saved $120 just to shop there. That is not customer friendly at all. Especially today when so many people have their pets with them. They may be running errands for the dog and have to bring their dog in. I understand a large dog, but if contained, it was rude, and unwelcoming to us. Lost our business for good!! read more

Their pharmacy had a price increase nearly 3 fold on one of my meds. Went from $55 to $125 WITH their prescription discount program. No one had an explanation or seemed to care. I still believe it was an error on someone's part, but the clerk just said "sorry". That's ok......same drug, same quantity at walgreens.....$30. Now you tell me If someone at this Costco pharmacy doesn't have their act together? $55 to $125? Really? Your mistake saved me money and gave someone else business. Unbelievable. read more

How could you not love Costco? Although not every item is a "steal" they still have a ton a great stuff! I have gotten tired on my car there and loved them. Free rotations too. Love their pizza too, it's very affordable. Always fill up on gas there too! Only downfall is their weird store hours. read more

I Love this store. Tons of cool stuff and super helpful and friendly employees. Bought my new patio furniture there today. Great quality and a really good price. Anything that is the Kirkland brand is amazing. The only bad thing I have to say about Costco is that they move their merchandise around too much so it's hard to find. This place had a sorry selection of ice cream, everything under the sun was "organic", and they only carry Jiff peanut butter?!?!?! Costco, you are the best. I love you. I literally went for the first time this weekend and got a membership. I spent about what I spend at walmart or grocery store but this time my fridge was PACKED and I got everything I needed. I will forever be a loyal customer. The customer service is great, the samples are awesome, the prices and quantities are fantastic too. I'm definitely going to be upgrading to the executive membership here in a couple of months.
