I understand Costco is taking all precautionary measures to limit the spread of COVID transmission hence the rule you must wear a mask; however that does not give employees the right to talk to others, especially paying customers like their children or their quite frankly idiots. We had been ridiculed three times today while trying to purchase eyeglasses by three women, who HATE their jobs you can tell they are so unhappy with themselves; it shows in every aspect of their job performance. First, they ask you to stand in a line, then we handed them the prescription, and she pointed my significant other to the CHILDREN'S GLASSES! BEFORE ASKING HIM HOW OLD HE IS! HE IS 30!!! He laughed, and she then asked how old he was he answered 30, she says these are the men's selection mind you they've trimmed their selection down about two cases!! I am not allowed to look at glasses with my significant other?! He had no idea which ones he liked and wanted an opinion, but I could not chime in because I was asked to stand by the TVs. Needless to say, after 20 years of my family and his patronizing Costco. Also, there is NO hand sanitizer station anywhere. Yet, they make you wear a mask, Costco should implement this in several areas throughout their warehouse if they are serious about stopping the spread. read more

Crappy Service from Ameriprise Insurance My vehicle was involved in a minor accident where the other driver drove off before police arrived. He didn't exchange any information. Fortunately, I did get his plate number. I contacted AMERIPRISE over a week ago by telephone and email as well. I've called again to be sure they had all necessary information. So far, all I've received is a claim number. No one has had the courtesy to acknowledge my calls or emails. This is my first claim in TEN YEARS. While moving from Ohio to Prescott Valley, AZ, all we had was a Sam's Club, and never had any other store like it, so could not compare the two. We moved to Prescott Valley and I immediately got a membership at Costco with my Entertainment Book coupon special. This is by far one of the best moves we have made since moving here. I still had my Sam's Club membership and realized very quickly how much more Costco has to offer. Not just in merchandise but also the personnel's friendliness and helpfulness, and also the overall quality and experience every time I sincerely shop there. There is no comparison when placing Costco and Sam's Club in the same area of interest. The Sam's here closed and I sincerely do not miss it at all. So now Costco beginning May 4 has implemented new rules regarding this corona virus BS. Effective that date ALL customers coming into the warehouse must where a mask. Seriously? So during the most trying times of this virus it was not required but the truly more intelligent management now requires it. And still no protection for the customers. I can see that Costco has become a little dictatorship onto its own. And while I am on it why are the gas prices moving up and down. Oil is around $15 a barrel but yet the pump prices change between $1,95 and $1,97. But I guarantee when the prices go up the pump prices will too. But when the oil prices drop the pump prices remain high for almost two months before they drop. Who makes that decision the local manager or the company? This company was better off when it was price club. read more

Tire store is a joke. Attitude is something else. Make an appointment and it is totally meaningless. Get on line and the guy "helping you" is constantly answering the phone and giving quotes etc. Effectively, you are there, but a phone call puts you on hold. Complaint gets you a dirty look. Sheep behind you on the line give you dirty looks. COSTCO needs more help but it's a lot cheaper for you to wait. Information on hazard insurance is not complete. Prices elsewhere are less and attitude better . COSTCO, in general, is not what it was but the tire place is impossible. The real problem is what people are willing to put up with. read more

Was very excited to get a membership through my workplace. Grabbed a cart and shopped away. Place was full and checkout lines were long. Pulled out my card to pay and found out that they don't take MasterCard. Say what.....that is BS!! Guess I will be going back to Sams. Sams does accept MasterCard. Sams is bigger and cleaner and the items I purchase are cheaper at Sams anyway. Guess Costco is out!! read more

I go to this particular Costco 1-2 times a week. I like to buy an endless supply of groceries for my family to keep them well fed and of course buy anything and everything extra that we don't need, but that looks fun. We have lived here for nearly 5 years and I see a lot of the same people working here. They NEVER act like they remember you or know who you are. They ALWAYS act like they are doing YOU a favor to check you out and have better things to do. When I was younger I worked retail at a hardware store. I remembered people more often than not. I have been to many different Costco and no other Costco acts like you are inconveniencing them like the ones that work here. I recently purchased a Sams Club membership up in Flagstaff so I could go there just to fell less hated on while trying to get groceries. Side note: the associates at the return/membership/food court are the EXACT opposite, very friendly. read more

I don't understand how at any time of the day, any day of the week, there's always a million people at Costco. If you want to go there on a weekend you have to park a mile away and then fight the crowds. You even have to wait in line to get a stinkin' sample of something. And of course, there's the dreaded check outs. Hope you don't plan on going anywhere soon. You'll be in line forever. The only good things about Costco are A.- they have really nice glasses in their eye wear department. and B.- their prices are very good. I'm super disappointed in the food court today. They were not very friendly, and when we picked up our pizzas...we found that there was hardly any cheese on the pizzas! I have always been very happy with the value before, so I called and asked about the change. The girl who answered said that the new manager of Costco changed the rules and they can no longer add extra toppings, as there is no way to charge for them. Each pizza has 14 oz of cheese. I weighed out 14 oz of cheese, and there was NO WAY that it would cover a pizza that size! So long Costco....won't be giving you our business any longer. read more

This review is for the Wireless station at Costco. Krystina at the wireless station did an awesome job helping us get phones on Black Friday. Their systems were slow/ down at times, and there were a long queue of people there. She did a great job in keeping us informed of how many people were ahead of us and how long it was going to take. She started to do a number of preparatory steps in getting our phones activated so we wouldn't have to wait too long. And Krystina also setup our phones just the way we wanted. All-in-all we had a great experience. She has a great sense of humor as well :) read more

We still do most of our shopping at Trader Joe's, Sprouts, Natural Grocers, Fry's and Amazon, but stop in for mushrooms, rice & hotdogs. We're actually grateful that Catherine was so acutely rude. We've discovered that Amazon, Fry's and Trader Joe's are cheaper, at least for what we buy and we don't have to pay a $150 membership fee! We won't be renewing our membership. Between their annual fee and product price increases, we can't make up the cost anymore. read more

This is one of my favorite places to shop at because it carries so much variety of everything. They sell items such as glasses, jewelry, cameras, TVs, stereos, household appliances, clothes, furniture, food and more at very good prices. The added bonus is you get free taste testing during the weekends which gives you a pretty good idea of the quality of food that they sell and yes I believe the quality of food is very good. You can't beat the great prices either. The check outlines move fast which is also another nice feature of shopping at Costco. Love my Costco read more

Really nice Costco. Very busy most days, but found the day before Thanksgiving almost empty! Also, if you can get out after a snow fall, it's less crowded as well. Very nice employees! Not used to the eating area being inside, but during the winter I totally understand why! :) Love that they are getting more and more organic choices! Since, I now go to Whole Foods afterwords. Maybe one day they will carry all I need so I can avoid the second stop! read more

COSTCO Optical review- DO NOT BUY CONTACTS FROM OPTICAL Department!! My husband went to eye doctor in Costco and was given a trial pair of contacts which were fine he was talked into buying 6 month supply since they where offering a rebate however when the contacts he ordered arrived there was a problem he couldn't see clearly with the new contacts when we tried to returned them the Optical manager refused a refund as my husband wrote on the unopened boxes. Which I understand HOWEVER there is clearly a problem with the contacts we ordered if he can't see with them, the Optical Manager was the worst and instead told us to go back to the eye doctor, why would we go back and spend more money at the eye doctor when clearly there is a problem with contacts that were ordered. This optical manager has the worst customer service we had ever experienced at Costco. We have ordered thru Scottsdale Costco and they had the best customer service and always very professional and NEVER had a problem there. Even after the store manger got involved the Optical Manager still refused to help and insisted we go back to the doctor after 30 minutes of back and for the store manger was able to help us, also I overheard the Optical Manager tell another customer who was having problems with his glasses to go back to doctor as well. Horrible service we felt like once they got our money they could care less if there is a problem. GO ANYWHERE else but this Optical Department they are the WORST Costco optical we have ever use and will never go back!! read more

Around Thanksgiving, Costco didn't extend their hours! After hassle free early shopping at sams, arrived to wait in line before costco opened. Will Costco adjust hours for high volume holiday shopping? In fact, the store always seems crowded. Not sure if people are buying or just eating food from kiosks but adds more wait time than I want to spend on crowds. read more

Dr. Willer, whose office is right there in Costco, has been my optometrist for about 5 years. He recently performed my eye exam with his usual high degree of professionalism and caring about me. I then brought in a pair of glasses frames I already own to Costco's Vision Center and ordered prescription lenses from them. My experience was excellent as before. The staff is professional and caring. They handled setting up my prescription really well and delivered the glasses as promised. I highly recommend their services. read more

What to say, except to say, I still don't like them checking my receipt at the exit door, it seems so so like they think we are all stealing something. I have to admit their customer service and most products are top notch. Their bagels turn moldy quicker than they can be consumed. Organic half and half higher here than other stores! Why? Because they can? Speaking of cans... Where's the canned mushrooms? Where's the multi-packed canned veggies? Canned asparagus? Yeah, I too have submitted the requests, they play the blame game. Like their hotdogs have never tried their other sandwiches. Speaking of gas, they have low prices on gas for the auto too. Some cashiers act as if I am a newbie every time they see me, even though I have traded here since they opened. Exedra ! the quality of food is the best in the buiseness and what a selection to choose from . jewlery is outstanding ! and it is a bit more expensive than competitors. in this area you get what you pay for. and ther return policy is no hassels and quick refunding of your money. really they don't question you or drill you in any way ! I am sold on this company because for 14 years I have shoped costco and still injoy it ! also my pain pills at wallgreens cost 168.00 $ but at costco it is 28 $ you can't beat there prices. take your car there for tires because you get the best tires like michelin and I baught 4 new ones for my volvo that are 90.000 warranty with free 6000 mile rotation and gas filled. my only problem is that in january I filled a job application out and spoke with Joy the store manager and she was a bit rude and irritated. as much as I love the company ! I don't think I can work with or for somebody like that . so I am hoping that she will move on one day and I will re apply hopeing for the best! ! thanks for reading this guys !!!
