I was planning to just get the prescription and order a couple of lenses online like in the past, and wasn't going to order the lens through Premier...I felt kind of dismissed and talked into buying it here and paying for a fitting which should be included with the exam, IMO.

During my exam, he went above and beyond to understand not only my vision concerns but also how my overall health might be impacting my eyes. For the first time in over two years of dealing with ongoing eye and health issues, I felt truly heard and not brushed aside. Dr. Sanders was on time, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. He took the time to listen, explain, and genuinely care--qualities that set him far apart from the typical medical experience today. His dedication and kindness made a huge difference in my visit. I also want to mention the office manager, Krista, who was equally wonderful. Together, they create an environment that feels supportive, welcoming, and exceptional in every way. I have never had a better experience with a doctor, and I cannot recommend Dr. Sanders highly enough.

With a new prescription for reading & distance glasses, I went back to them. They have a large selection of frames to choose from. Aaron directed me to them, gave me plenty of time to choose and set up my orders. All of it was pleasant, professional and easy. I haven't gotten the call to pick up my glasses yet but I'm not expecting anything except another good encounter! They know what they're doing there.

The pin/screw fell out of the stem of my glasses at a very crucial time, and there was no possible way for me to fix them myself, so I put good old-fashioned tape on them to hold me over until I found the wonderful team at Sunglass Emporium early last week. They were immediately kind and had me sit down and the owner just so happened to be my repair technician, and after some minutes just trying to figure out how to even put them back together, he utilized all the tools on his desk and even some from the backsome! At one point the process required two people to put that tiny pin back in, but they prevailed and I walked out with glasses that were perfect once again, despite the heavy scratches due to me using my shirt tail one too many times to clean them! I need new lenses and frames anyway, and found a very similar pair of frames to the ones I had repaired, and the out the door price he gave me with new lenses was easily 33% less than for the exact pair I paid for in California, so the second I can dig up my old prescription from my eye doctor in California, the team at Sunglass Emporium will most assuredly be making my new pair of glasses and all glasses and sunglasses for my family in the very near future. By the way, they took at least 20 to 25 minutes to repair my glasses (simply due to the complexity of the spring mechanism) and of course I wanted to pay for the repair, but they would not take a penny from me so they're definitely doing something right, and earned a future customer for life. Thanks a million Aaron! Highly, highly recommend!!!

I try to help him as much as possible. He cannot see clearly without his glasses and really needed the fix right and in a hurry, I tried to fix them but soon realized it was above my paygrade and I needed to take it to a professional. He told me to take them up to Walmart because they had been so helpful before and didn't even charge him for the fix that they had completed in just 5 minutes. So, I did as he asked and found the ladies,Selene and Sandra, at the vision center to be very helpful and glad to fix them again at no charge. I would highly recommend them for all your vision needs.

I would highly recommend this location for all of your vision needs. You will not be disappointed.

I know patients who have gone to his dad and Todd for decades. That says a lot. They know they will receive the best care possible. I'm eligible to see the optometrist at our local VA. I choose to go to Dr. Geiler because I have the utmost trust and confidence in his ability to always properly take care of my vision. Just think about how valuable our eyes are, especially as we age. We need all the professional help we can receive. In summary, I would always choose Dr, Geiler over any other optometrist in the Quad-Cities. Thank you and your dad, Dr Geiler!

My primary care said, "you need to see an ophthalmologist" and wrote a referral to (direct) the Doctor's office (I rec'd a copy, waited two or three days, no call). I figure, and my inflamed eyes indicate so as well as a vision anomaly, that I "need" to see Dr Geiler. When I called the answering staff was very 'cool', I said I had been referred, "aah, ahh" and I thought I needed to see the doctor. 'Well, we have an appointment in middle August (three weeks out) ..?" When I mentioned I was a referral because of an observed 'issue', she said, "Well, that's all we have.." COMPLETELY indifferent.. that is NOT the Doctor's fault (he should try booking an appointment when they don't know it is him calling) BUT absolutely no help, concern, care, or even offering to put me on a cancellation list. I've heard that medical practices have a hard time getting 'caring' people. True? [Edit - as I was concerned about my vision I reached out to another eye care professional, M n M, and WOW.. Holly was extremely professional and kind. Said they had a busy schedule "but" because my primary care had noted the eye issue, she felt it should be seen 'sooner rather than later' and would get me in Monday (two days hence) in the AM. She asked questions about my vision, floaters, haze, various other questions. THAT is a GREAT front end! ]
