During my exam, he went above and beyond to understand not only my vision concerns but also how my overall health might be impacting my eyes. For the first time in over two years of dealing with ongoing eye and health issues, I felt truly heard and not brushed aside. Dr. Sanders was on time, attentive, and incredibly compassionate. He took the time to listen, explain, and genuinely care--qualities that set him far apart from the typical medical experience today. His dedication and kindness made a huge difference in my visit. I also want to mention the office manager, Krista, who was equally wonderful. Together, they create an environment that feels supportive, welcoming, and exceptional in every way. I have never had a better experience with a doctor, and I cannot recommend Dr. Sanders highly enough.

The exam was…read morecovered by my insurance but they added an additional $89 out-of-pocket for fitting which has never happened when I had Aetna PPO, but since Arizona no longer offers PPO through Aetna, I had to change to Blue Cross, Blue Shield Health Choice Pathway and Premier claims the only coverage is for the exam. I was planning to just get the prescription and order a couple of lenses online like in the past, and wasn't going to order the lens through Premier...I felt kind of dismissed and talked into buying it here and paying for a fitting which should be included with the exam, IMO.

Traveling and my prescription sun glasses were in my suitcase when my suitcase was searched by TSA…read more Sadly they were damaged in the search. While the Airline is working to compensate me for this, I still had the urgent need of 1) glasses that needed adjustment from being bent out of shape 2) scratches that needed to be buffed out and 3) a new eyeglass case. In a town where I know no one I chose a national brand place to start with in my search of getting my sun glasses at least usable. I am visiting the desert after all. I stopped in here for those reasons. Colby Watts greeted me with calm, quiet professionalism. While he was not able to help me with the scratches issue he did, 1) recommend a place that might be able to help 2) adjusted my glasses so they fit once more 3) gave me a new eyeglass case all at no charge. It was truly a pleasant experience and I would recommend this pace for all your eye care needs. Thank you Colby for easing the stress of a bad situation. It is truly appreciated.
