I don't frequent Kohl's often but I recently went this week and I could not believe how much their prices have gone up. I bought 2 pairs of shorts and 2 tshirts for my 8 year old and this was the same quality style clothing that you would get equal to old navy or Target even for boys in this age range. The total price came out to $65!!! That's ridiculous, I thought how ridiculously expensive these clothes are that I could probably get for half the price at Target or old navy(they weren't even designer shirts like Nike or vans), that I've decided to ring these back and get my money back. Won't be shopping g here again. I'll just stick to SHEIN for me and Target or old navy for my son. read more

This dept store never ever has anything that fits me. Unbelievable, you think, right? I am 5'10 and wear a womans 14. I weigh 140 so that really shouldn't be an issue to find anything that fits me but with Kohls these days, I absolutely never find anything. From shoes & socks to pants/shirts/ pj's etc. I totally have given up hope for this store. No more wasting gas going there or energy looking around. My review is not based on the store but is about kohls.com. I don't shop too much with this company but I've found that their ethics, in my opinion, have gone way downhill over the years. It didn't used to be much of an issue to get a free shipping code to the store or to your home. I'd missed the free shipping code by 55 hours so they flatly refused to give this to me on the phone. Another option was for me to drive 30 miles round trip, waste a gallon of gas and use my phone in their store to get free shipping! The 3rd option was for me to pay the shipping fee up front then I've got a call back in 48 hours and they'd remove the shipping fee. After that I'd have to wait 7 days for the refund to go back onto my card. To me this is like inventing the square wheel and sticking to it. Why not wave the shipping fee to begin with and avoid all of the above aggravation? The other thing that annoyed me, the message when you call Kohls, is about going to their website and clicking on the 'Ask us.' After typing out a long message all I get is some virtual piece of garbage that says 'Enjoy your shopping' or something to that effect. I'd have expected a live human being not a thing that's going to respond to you with zero help to a problem. I can't say I'm too impressed with this company anymore. One last thing to add here. I wrote a review on the Prescott valley, Arizona store on Sunday 11-7-21. Interesting how Coles right back to me with the following information: ""Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!"" I find it interesting that when you tell the truth about Kohl's and you're not rude or discriminatory about it but because I leave one star review they won't allow it on their website. I have been an avid Kohl's shopper now for 14 years, during which I would purchase I'd say around 80-90% of all my clothing from Kohl's. So to say that I've dropped thousands and thousands of dollars at Kohl's over 2 decades is an understatement. That said, Kohl's has officially lost this long time customer.. This location specifically is a train wreck. Just incompetent and rude employees. I don't get it. This last time I went shopping there the cashier could not get an item to scan, and when she asked for help her supervisor verbally berated and belittled her (shouting across registers). It was embarrassing for everyone, including me. Plus I was given a 25% off coupon from doing an Amazon return. So after I'd shopped, waited about 10 minutes AT the register waiting for the cashier and supervisor to figure out their scanning issues, I was then told (after being charged!) my discount didn't apply because the fine print excluded the item I'd purchased. They then began to send me to another part of the store to do a return for the item they'd just charged me for. Kohl's: stop the fine print garbage, train your employees on how to use your registers, and mentor your supervisors on how to appropriately lead people. read more

I was in the Kohl's in Prescott Valley, AZ, on 6/25/19, and left feeling devalued, disrespected and angry. I was standing in line patiently waiting for the customer service associate to complete with the customer he was serving. He was just about done, when a woman walked to the side of the counter. He proceeded to help her and ignore me. By this time, there were 2 more people in the line behind me all patiently waiting. I asked him what was up. He stated that people who had orders took precedence over those who were waiting in line and that it was "company policy" because they were spending money on their orders and I was just doing a return. Well first of all, he had no idea why I was in line and secondly, is this the way Kohl's instructs their associates to treat their customers? So it's ok to order stuff and get respectful service, and not ok to return items while getting a side of less-than- considerate service. Is that it? This is what I said to your associate, "Well, this is my policy. I am a costumer and my money spends just like other customers and I don't have to do business with you anymore." There are many other retailers I can do business with who will treat me and my time with respect. read more

There is not a lot of options for shopping in the Prescott/Prescott Valley area. Kolh's in Prescott Valley is definitely worth checking out. Many lines to choose from. The kids clothes are awesome. They have many items for the home. A bit pricey on home items but they do run sales. The store is clean (including the bathroom). Overall, the store is worth visiting. read more

While in the restroom, I encountered a lady named Nettie, who was very kind and friendly while she waited for me to use the facilities. I now why this store is so clean, and it is because associates like her do their job above and beyond the standard of care required. When I shop in this store and I frequently encounter her, either outside changing the garbage or inside taking care of the rest areas, I know she cares about doing her job well. Stopped in Kohl's tonight to pick up an order for my husband. Stood in a short line for a few minutes and then faced the Associate who snapped at me for not standing in another line due to how busy it was. So rude!! Then when she brought out the order snapped at me again because I presented my husband's driver's license. Said my name should be linked to pick it up. Showed her my license with the same address on it. Said I'll let it go this time!! Really??? Sounds like someone does not like her job. Gives customer service a new meaning. This store looks run down and not cared about. From a customer standpoint the cashiers are slow...very long lines. The stock in mens wear and shies are untidy and unattractive. I would highly recommend this store. During these tough times, I lost a lot of weight and needed some new clothes. Although I couldn't try clothes in due to divide, (not their fault) I got done things and had to take them home to try them on but was grateful that I could return/exchange if they didn't fit which I did a few times. I want to thank Nancy and Michelle in Customer Service for helping me and making sure I didn't lose all my Kohls cash and other credits. They were very nice about everything and I appreciate that. I went to pay my credit card bill today. I had the pleasure of a very rude manager. I didnt even catch her name but she was very rude while paying my bill. I had a very pleasant experience when I was in the fitting room. The employee assisted me with trying to find the right red dress in my size for a performance I had coming up. As well as we only had to wait in their long line for 7 minutes as they called for backup cashiers. And I just happened to have gotten the same woman from fitting room whose name was Angel. She was completely helpful toward my husband and I and always had a smile. We will definitely return and recommend this store because of the kind of employee's they hire which makes a world of difference in such a chaotic time. read more

There aren't a lot of fashion stores for women in Prescott, but Kohl's sure is one that makes a difference. Located in Prescott Valley, it isn't super handy for me but is well worth the trip! I always find something to add to my wardrobe, and it's always at a great price! They also have a nice selection of kitchen cookware and accessories. read more

Always a pleasure to shop here. The sales people are so friendly and helpful. I was just there to pick up a few new things for a trip and a salesperson, I wished I would have gotten her name, was getting ready to put clothes from the dressing area and I saw a dress I loved but it wasn't my size. She asked my size and while I was trying on the dresses I had she returned with the dress I had seen in my size. That was the dress I bought. I love the sales racks too, same trip I found a super cute summery top for $3. And the best part of the this trip-I got a scratch off ticket at check out for 30% off. read more

I had the worst experience with a supervisor today at KOHLS. After all the years I have shopped at this company from Oregon to Colorado and different stores all over AZ..Started off checking my email and noticing that the order I shopped for online Dec. 25th was being sent to an old address. I changed all my information long ago and the address was an old one they were shipping it to. I call C.S. and talked to someone overseas; a very nice person but he said he couldn't do anything that I would have to call the store in my area...So I did. I asked to speak to a manager or a supervisor; her name is Claudia and she was the rudest person in that position I have ever dealt with. I worked in C.S for years and never would I treat anyone with disrespect! She kept talking while I was trying to explain what happened so I finally said "can I get a word in and tell you what the problem is..she said well!! There is nothing we can do..She didn't even know what the problem was until I told her to stop talking and she lost it and said I was rude...This person is so lucky I wasn't standing in front of her at the store. I will not ever shop at the store again or online! If they can't get the information correct in their system after 2 years then I have no use for incompetence. read more
