Apparently SAS is a family-owned American shoe manufacturer based in Texas that "specializes in handcrafted men's and women's shoes, focusing on comfort." OK. Sounds good. The store is company owned and sells only SAS. It's a clean, quiet, attractive and well-organized shop. The service was very friendly, and the shoes I looked at seemed very well constructed, with traditional styling. The prices on the shoes I looked at were a bit higher, IMO, for a brand that isn't in the public eye: about $175 for an athletic shoe. But then, most athletic shoes are made in China. I discovered the brand is available everywhere online, including Amazon & Zappos, so I'm going to do some price research. I would like to buy from a brick-and-mortar, but initial impressions are these may be a bit pricey and perhaps uncompetitive. I guess we'll see...

At Maurice's Kelsey asked if we needed any help. We told her what we were looking for, when the wedding was and where it was and she was all over it. She found all different dresses in our sizes that we needed. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of her associate, but she was a very sweet girl. She had her bring back the dresses that she found for us and put our names on our dressing rooms. We were able to talk freely with Kelsey and her associate about what we need it and even made some nice small talk. They even pressed the dresses and put them in dress bags for us for free . Which they had done for us and a little over an hour so we were able to take it home like that which, was great. Loved having such a personal experience here.
