I have shopped at this costco several times since the Covid outbreak. My only complaint is the cashiers attitudes. On each visit I felt like I was an inconvenience and I am NOT a problem customer. Past visits I did not ask for anything. Today I asked if I wanted a box for my small items and I first said no. I changed my mind when I saw a box setting at the end of the register. When I asked if I could change my mind and get a box the look I got was like I was the worst person ever. On each visit I never got a hello nor a thank you. The cash register crew was always to busy talking to each other. The other employees have all been great. The cashiers can use some customer service training. read more

Well considering the sniveling over sensitive snowflakes at Yelp who somehow found my last review of Costco in violation of there terms I'll start again and keep it very simple.... The cashiers and baggers are the worst part of the store. Rude obnoxious idiots who throw and abuse the groceries you are buying. Then to top it off you get baggers who don't understand why I get mad at them when they put raw chicken and pork on top of or in with my veggies.....and they have to nerve to get huffy with me....until they get their job figured out you can bet I will continue to call them out on their behavior and methods. read more

Ugh, this location is such a disaster. The parking lot was insanely crowded, with people driving aggressively. The propane is smack in the middle of the melee and up front by the store, so it's hard to get an RV to/from it. Inside it was even worse, and then they had those food sample people everywhere blocking the few places you could walk. Just awful. I'll avoid this location. read more

We got brave and ventured out this morning to go to Costco. We had not been out for 16 days.  Suprisingly (or not) there were not a lot shoppers.  Maybe Sunday morning was a factor plus the hopeful committment to social distancing.  I must say, COSTCO had it's act together.  Very orderly way to enter in single file with distance; sanitized carts (we watched them sanitizing with a sprayer nozzle as we walked up); no customers walking around shopping with less than 6 feet from each other (everyone was very courteous); attendant guiding a single line to checkouts; dividers on conveyer belts were removed so not a million people handling them.  Then only one customer at a checkout at a time.  Others in line were a distance back.  No physical receipt checks.  All employees smiling and chipper! Oh...we also bought toilet paper. We had not bought any since long before this crisis. We were beginning to ration now. So we were shocked when there was TP offered as we entered. One per shopper...as it should be. These are huge packages! Oh how I wish it was always like that when we go to Costco.  Maybe we all can learn something from this crazy world right now.   HUGE kudos to every single COSTCO employee, manager, and corporate. We popped in here while on a trip up north with our camper and were in need of another RV battery, gas, and some other goodies. The service department was super helpful, friendly, and I had a great experience purchasing our new battery! There was no one in line so I was able to get it super fast. The store itself wasn't super crazy packed on a Saturday and I was able to get just what we needed and was out within 15 minutes. It was clean and well stocked - definitely a great spot if you're in need of Costco goodness! They also have gas which is ideal when on a road trip. You can't beat their prices! Costco gas- it's 100+ and I have special needs son that suffers from seizures sitting in the car with me. The attendant refuse to let me keep the car running AC while I pumped gas. So my son literally has to roast in the car! WTF?!! It's 100+ degrees!! The attendant cut the gas off, so I couldn't fill up. Tolerance for the disabled is obviously not a consideration at Costco. Thinking about it---Costco has become so militant lately-- truly thinking of canceling my membership. Sams club gas is just as cheap & they are not jerks!! read more

Great place on Ox road worth the drive from Vienna. All items are highest quality but foods in large family portions we breakdown into freezer portions for two. Clothing is low cost so not top grade but adequate. Helpful staff and unbeatable prices and can check online too for store availability and more items not in stores. Auto tires super deals as is gasoline. On gas lines choose your time carefully or prepare for waiting. I find late day or crummy weather weekend afternoons not bad. Their hearing aids cannot be beat for quality prices and service. I get top of the line for $1600 less than my deductible on $6000 from a regular audiologist and same care. Then free cleanings on walkup and loss insurance. I have not tried eyeglasses but lines look promising. Friends of mine raved about vacation package prices. I must try them soon. read more

You can walk in the exit to go to customer service, or food court, yet if you have a bathroom emergency they will give you a crap for not going in through entrance, then argue with you about it. Then claim it's not a medical issue, despite telling them you take a medication that can cause you need to pee suddenly. read more

My favorite store for purchasing quality food items ,kitchen items , gas and household cleaning materials and a return policy like no other. Prices are awesome. Many people that complain about the membership fee of $60 fail to take into account that you get 4% back on your annual gas purchase ,3% back on any restaurant 2% on anything purchased in Costco and 1% everywhere else when you use your Costco Citi card. How ever I do have one BIG concern and complaint in that they allow fully grown teenagers to sit and ride in the carts with their filthy shoes placed on the carts where we all place our food purchases. ESPECIALLY NOW when shoes carry bacteria and Coronavirus can live on you the soles of your shoes for up to 5 days .Costco needs to step up to the plate stop this . This should be a huge no no and not allow this !!!!!! read more

Best prices!! They always try to beat everyone else's prices and only it makes it better to obtain a costco membership. The lines may seem deceiving from how long they are but they move quickly. My family went to Costco Wednesday and I am sadden to see Costco doesn't seem to care about their customers like they use to. We were standing in line to check out and there were only 2 cashiers open and the lines were long. I went up to a Manager to ask if they can open up another cashier and they said no. I asked if Costco was trying to force us to use the self checkout and the answer was "pretty much Yes". What an insult. I pay for the Executive membership which isn't cheap and Costco is telling me I have to check myself out. I don't think so, I won't do it in any other store and won't do it at Costco. To Costco - Why do you not have cashiers open up when lines are long??? You use to have all registers open. If this keeps up we will drop our membership. We deserve better respect! And with Christmas coming up Costco will get really crowded lets open up more registers. read more

Tabby took notice and came around the counter to give me a hug. Then, I accidentally left my Costco card at the pharmacy and she chased me down in the store to make sure I got it back. 2/09/2024 @7pm. I had just received my Costco certificate and was contemplating getting some things or Super Bowl Sunday, but my Visa had been compromised on the 2nd, so I delayed going, waiting until my new card came, but I needed to get out of the house, so I went to try to see if or how I could use my membership. I asked the employee (female) at the entrance, where they check your membership and I asked where to go since my card was closed. She referred me to the podium left of the cafe. So what the heck, I strolled to the podium and was helped by the lady working the podium. She not only looked into my card/account, she issued me a temporary membership pass and I was able to pay with my certificate. After strolling up and down the aisles, I went through checkout where the cashier asked if I needed to hold on to the temporary membership for gas. I was so happy to hear I could use it, so I went and filled up as well and the gentleman working the gas station (in the freezing weather) was very helpful and I was able to fill up. It was just an overall fantastic experience from the moment I walked in, to being assisted, to checkout, to the cafe ( young man was busy in the cafe, but made sure he let me know he'd be right with me) to exit checkout, to getting gas. Oh by the way, I got their chocolate chip cookie. It was GOOOOOOOOD. Thank you all for your assistance and kindness. read more

Why require masks, limit the number of people inside and talk about 6 feet apart when the exit greeters are taking one receipt from one customer and passing those germs onto the next person? Just putting people at risk. When I called and spoke to an assistant general manager she said corporate has said it is fine to touch receipts as long as their employees wash their hands. Which is great, for their employee's safety. Us customers who get handed a receipt back with the germs of who knows how many other people get screwed. Let's face it. Most of those exit greeters are useless. Whenever we have two receipts but one cart we play a game. We give the person checking receipts only one to see if they catch the fact that half the items are not included in the receipt. After 2 years and going at least once, if not twice a month, we have yet to be asked for the second receipt. The other times, when I have a cart full and the employee glances at the cart and receipt then marks it off, I assume they're using their magic vision to instantly check and confirm the total number of items. Meaning, it's a useless process. Costco only cares about their employee's safety and that's likely because they don't want to deal with a lawsuit. But their customers get screwed over. Not sure how anyone could steal anything, their employees watch the checkout lines like a hawk. So the need for these exit people to be passing germs and viruses from one person is non-existent. read more

This has to be the busiest Costco I've almost ever been too. I love it, don't get me wrong, and it makes perfect sense why it's so busy. I guess I get frustrated when I have to walk so far just to go shopping. Either way, the store is clean, the management is good, the employees are personal and helpful. On top of that, who doesn't love free samples?! Always something new and fun! I've yet to have an issue with this Costco (parking excluded) and the only dock in a star was for how ridiculously busy it is. read more

I love the store but am watching the tire center put on a new set of tires and it is a joke. I am astounded on how inefficient they are. They pulled the tires off then waited a while working on something else. They got the tires mounted then they sat on the ground for an hour. Then they put them on, tightened them and waited again. Was told all it needed was to be torqued. 2 hours later there is a car parked in front of the bay so it took another 10 minutes to fill the tires in it. GO TO DISCOUNT TIRES. read more

I've been going to costco since before costco was costco- anybody remember price club (much better service & products). Recently I noticed that everytime my family purchased a rotisserie chicken they got stomach issues following our eating the bird. This was not one time but EVERY time. Now I see on the internet that this is not isolated to Prescott but to many Costco's. What gives? Won't purchase the rot chicken anymore, not worth sitting on the porcelin for hours. Also I've also noticed a trend in that I've tried several frozen foods and found them to be disgusting. The last were pre-cooked grilled chicken patties. They are horrible. Last month I tried marinated salmon and it was inedible and mushy, nasty stuff. Costco's fresh fruits and vegies are always bad and expensive. Additionally the fresh beef products have gone down hill. Similarly the bakery products are generally old and stale. All in all, Costco, why bother, especially with the membership. read more

It's Sunday, the day before Memorial Day, and my "Tire Pressure !" light comes up on the dash. I drove to Costco to get the tires checked, knowing they were possibly due for replacement. Brianna at the Prescott Costco Tire Center cash register was friendly and helpful. Step 1: get one of the guys to check the air pressure and the tires; Step 2: either fix the tire or replace the tires. Harold checked them for me and found a screw embedded in one that caused a leak that might not be fixable. Given the age of the tires, probably best to replace them all, he said. Brianna worked me in without an appointment. Francisco and Fernando did the work in no-time flat, and I was back on the road in an hour! Thank you, Costco! read more

Not as friendly as many other Costco's I have been to throughout America. Easy in and easy out. Hardly anyone on the floor to help. Many prices going up and lots more self check outs. No more limiting of items. Masks are required but not enforced for customers. Full food court is open. read more

I needed assistance at the gas pump because it wouldn't dispense. I asked the attendant for help (Lucy) and she acted like I asked for kidney. The employees inside the store are very friendly and they probably throw the disgruntled ones to the gas pumps. I wish unhappy people would go find work that they enjoy. read more

I give this store no stars. My father is 86 years of age new to Prescott Valley, and was so excited to go to Costco today with my son who by the way is his caretaker. I am in Indiana and should be the second on the card but in the town that I live in there is no Costco. I told my son because you both live in the same household and you are his caretaker you both can just share a card. Today on there visit they both approached the register my father in a motorized wheelchair and my son pushing a cart. My son had a few Items he wanted to pay for on his own and my dad wanted to pay for the rest. When it became time to pay the cashier told my son he could not pay for any of the transaction because he was not on the account. Totally embarrassed my son and my father. Needless to say my father paid for the $500.00 bill. When my son and father got the membership they explained the living arrangements and at that time nobody told them that he should be added to the account if he was wanting to buy something. At this moment to not make a scene when a manager was called over a temporary pass should have been issued or the order should have been suspended so that my son could have been placed on the account, but denying him to buy anything was just plain ridiculous. What If my father did not have enough money for both transactions. So after they paid my dad walked over and added him to his acct. When my dad got home of course he called me and told me about his trip and I lost it, one because I am here my last year of nursing school, and I feel helpless as it is, but two because getting my dad out of the house is his "look forward " thing to do during the week. It may just be going to Costco to us but to him its like going to Disney land. I hate to hear that nobody in that store could give a crap on how his outing was. I called the Store and spoke to the store manager whom really really big guy had to go over his policy with me lol. I told him hes 86 and the order could have been suspended you could have added my son and finished the transaction. I asked him why wasn't this done he stated " don't have an answer for you. I told him instead of telling me what your policy is you should have just said can we make it better next time. Its not about the policy its about the 86 year old and maybe just giving him a break lol. I think we need to slow down for our seniors pay attention to them and maybe give them a little extra attention instead of always rushing them to the side or brushing them under the rug. She showed us the online purchasing and even found items in stock at the store once I found that the sizes weren't available online. She truly cares about her stores customers. It's a typical Costco (though the first I've ever been in that didn't have a dairy walk in) and is kept clean and well stocked. We go probably at least once a month for eggs and muffins. The food court food is pretty standard fare for Costco and we love how inexpensive it is. The staff have all been friendly and helpful when needed. We've never been in when it's been "too busy" or overcrowded, so can't really reflect on how the staff is during those times. read more

Thanks to associate named Mike, my dilemma was easily resolved today. He was over by the Costco work computer. I asked if he was customer service; he said, "I can be". That was a great start! I had bought a set of 3 plastic tubs about a month ago, but forgot to pick up the lids.
