Even after moving to different parts of San Diego County, I continued returning because of the quality of care provided by Dr. Mashouf and the professionalism of the entire team. Recently, my glasses broke while I was playing with my sister's dog, and I stopped by the office hoping for some help. The experience started off a little frustrating, and I didn't feel my concerns were fully understood at first. However, after I asked to speak with a doctor, Savannah stepped in and completely changed the experience. She took the time to listen, looked into the situation, consulted with management, and followed up with me the next day. When my replacement glasses were mistakenly sent to an old address, Savannah went above and beyond by personally driving to the home and leaving her business card in an effort to help recover them. That level of customer service is rare. While the situation itself was frustrating, Savannah's professionalism, persistence, and willingness to help turned it into a positive experience. After more than 15 years as a patient, I can confidently say that Dr. Mashouf and the medical team have earned my trust. No office is perfect, but how a team responds when something goes wrong says a lot about its culture. The care, accountability, and follow-through I received reaffirmed why I've remained a patient here for so many years.

This visit was no exception, even though I went to a different location than where I originally purchased my most recent pair. Robyn helped me, and she was just the sweetest!!! I came in needing a replacement and was hoping to replace my glasses with the same style, but this location didn't have them in stock. Instead of just leaving it at that, Robin went out of her way to call the Escondido location where I originally purchased my Gucci glasses and sunglasses to check availability. Even though I didn't end up finding exactly what I was looking for, I truly appreciated the effort she put in and how thoughtful she was throughout the whole process. That level of customer service really stands out. I'll definitely continue bringing my business to LensCrafters. Experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. Thank you Robyn!!!

Everything was carefully and clearly explained to me. The prices were very reasonable. They took my insurance (EyeMed). They have a lovely interior. It is extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. I liked the receptionist and the doctor I interacted with. Both were friendly and professional. I ordered some colored contacts and they got them for me in a day. I recently found out he left after the clinic was bought out (by Total Vision), but since the location is convenient for me, I decided to give one of the new doctors a try. Dr. Ma was nice enough, but the entire experience felt rushed and very impersonal. Instead of actually performing the usual vision tests for near/farsightedness, color vision, peripheral vision, etc., I was basically just asked whether I noticed any changes in my vision. I wasn't even asked to read the eye chart, just if it looked blurry or not. She glanced at the retinal scan, said everything looked fine and my prescription was probably the same, then sent me straight to the glasses sales department. The entire appointment, including the technician portion, took less than 15 minutes. It definitely felt more focused on moving patients through quickly and selling glasses than on providing a thorough eye exam. If all you need is a quick prescription update, this may work for you. But if you value a doctor who takes their time and does a comprehensive exam to make sure nothing is being missed, especially as we get older, I can no longer recommend Mira Mesa Optometry under its current corporate ownership, Total Vision .
