It's inside Costco, which is nice, but the waiting area is tiny with just a few chairs. They do the prescreen right next to the waiting area (its all an open space) then they take you next door for the exam. Exam felt quick, almost like a conveyor belt with people lined up back to back. Staff was ok and the service was fine, nothing special. They didn't take my insurance so may want to check with staff before booking an appointment. The out of pocket is $125 for an eye exam. Not sure if all Costcos have this setup, so prices might vary. A few other reviews mentioned insurance not being accepted either, so might be worth calling around to compare prices before booking. It might depend on the insurance network and coverage.

I was very impressed with all aspects of Issaquah Vision, including how serious they are taking cleanliness and making sure they are following all health and safety guidelines. I would give this zero stars if I could I came here to get…read morea new prescripción for my glasses because my vision has been blurry and I can tell i need new glasses. This experience was unprofessional from the start. He started with showing me a book, and had me tell him if I could see things clearly from the book. Never have I had an optometrist hand me a book to read to check my prescripción. Also, the lights in the room were so dim, I couldn't even see properly lol. Half way through this i'm already questioning his cridentials. He takes a photo of my eyes and tells me they are very healthy. I'm like okay? Thanks? I came here for a New prescription, not a eye health check. I know he already doesn't know what i'm here for. he then asks me to wait outside as another patient comes in? I talk to the front desk lady about insurance while i wait because I'm just awkwardly standing outside the door. Then we go into another room and he apologizes for making me wait. He does the typical eye slit test that i do everytime at other offices, (great, maybe it isn't all that bad after all?) as hes showing me the different Numbers it shuts down on my eyelashes and i can't even read the numbers!! This has never happend to me before at other offices. He does not know how to use the equipment. After this test he asks me to open my eyes and tilt my head back and pulls out a jar of unlabeled yellow liquid with a dropper. I ask , "what ? " and he replies , "for your eye dialation" sir? I am not getting my eyes dialated ! I had no idea what was going on the entire time and I could tell this man did not know what he was doing. Also I should mention i did not see any sanitizing of equipment i was placing my head on, not washing hands , or wearing gloves. As if this is bad enough already, i went to a different eye doctor just to be sure i got the right prescripción, and to no ones surprise, the one he gave me just the day prior was incorrect. If I had gone to get glasses with the prescripción he gave me, i would be wearing the wrong glasses. I never leave reviews ever, but i need people to know not to come here. I don't know how this place is running.

She should not be dealing with customers. That said I have worked with other associates in this location who have been great. I had a pair of frames which I'd purchased from them previously that I asked to update the lenses to my current prescription. No fitting on pickup, just take a look / here they are and handoff which seemed odd as things clearly may get moved around during the lens change. Glasses l seemed to be ok until I got them home and noted the arm was coming off, thought maybe missing screw but no, stripped screw so no fixing. When I returned to lenscrafters blonde associate told me they don't touch the arms (clearly they must to adequately change the lenses) but then switched her story to this happens all the time unfortunately and they're not held liable and would I like to purchase a new set of the same frames? Interesting that no one mentioned this policy to me previously but I'll take my business elsewhere. 2 star vs 1 star rating based on previous experiences at this location.

One month later, that discomfort is gone. Again, they could have done the lasik, taken my money and said, "sayonara."
