When it's busy there's someone directing traffic bc ppl block the pumps and pile in the first few lanes. Busy times are usually mid day to about 6pm. So go earlier or later! read more

Thank goodness for this Costco Gas location! I wanted to top up my car before leaving for a vacation and was in the Santee area. Lucky for me, I already knew how awkward the entrance is. You'll first enter into two separate lanes that merge into one, then unravel into any lane you want for the pumps. I recommend turning towards the very far lanes by staying on the right side, it seems to be the most neglected. Overall, a quick pump at the gas. Just figure out the entrance confusion and this would be a five-star review! read more

I live right in the middle of the Costco on Fenton Parkway and this one. Each of them have their pros and cons but this one is good because its in area for strictly Costco so there isn't that extra traffic from other stores. The only reason why this is a 4 is because there are 2 pump aisles that make the lines longer but other than that, all my experiences here have been great! If you're coming from Mission Gorge I recommend entering through the second entrance rather than the first or third for less traffic. read more

I used to love getting gas in Santee! There were two ways to enter the gas line & then 3 pumps at each station. The line would back up but for affordable gas it was always worth the wait. The 'new' Santee gas station is terrible! To get to the pumps you have to drive around the store. We did our shopping & then went to get gas. The sign in the parking lot said right turn only so I had to exit Costco, go to the light then re-enter the parking lot & drive behind the store following the arrows. There are more pumps now, 4 per station but the stations are so long it's hard to tell if a car is in the first spot. They have speed bumps which I don't understand & paid security telling people how to exit the station. I'm a fan of Costco & never imagined leaving a negative review. Hopefully while they are still in the process of building a new food court they can go back and figure out the gas station. read more

I am a Costco shopper and really like the new gas station. One very frustrating issue though is instead of getting a card I was talked into using the app couple years ago and every time I get gas I have to get an attendant to swipe their card for me so I can get gas. Not a huge deal but would be nice if the app worked at the pumps. read more

Regular 'ol Costco gas station. When it's regular busy time, cones are setup to formulate a 1 way entry. With this is prevents other drivers from cutting off other in line and causing accidents (THUMBS UP!). I get's busy here especially around 5 when everyone gets off work. You can wait anywhere from 10-20 minutes. But the good thing is you can go into any lane, the hoses all have extensions to reach around. There's always a staff member or 2 present so if you need a hand, they can help. I've had some gas leak onto the outside of my car, employees there cleaned it up for me. Also I see a lot of elderly people get gas here who are need physically able to pump that gas due to weak hand or wrists. Employees are glad to help out with a smile. They close at 930 most times so keep an eye out. TIP: If you are looking to get your tires inflated, you have to go to the tire center. NOT the gas station area. read more

This is the only gas station I visit outside of Military installations, and even then I prefer Costco since it is still cheaper most of the time. I won't mention much about lines but expect to wait 10-30 minutes during busy hours. Non-busy hours include Sunday early afternoon and after 6pm on weekdays... That's from my experience. There isn't much else to be said about a Costco gas station so I'll end it short and sweet. We all need gasoline anyway. Happy Driving! read more

If you know when to do it is not very busy, just dont go during lunch time or dinner time. When I was pregnant, I had a hard time getting in and out of my car since I was go big. the employees were so nice. All I had to do was honk my horn and they would come over and fill my take up for me. Now that I have a toddler running around I sometimes forget my card. They are nice enough to swipe there card so I can still get gas. And they have the cheapest gas in town. read more

Best pricing for gas in the area. When busy, (90% of the time)it is a cluster dance. Can not understand the difficulty people have in the simple task of fueling a vehicle? Please, there is typically a wait in a line. How about having your card ready when it is your turn? How about getting off the phone and focus on pumping your gas? Others are waiting for their turn. You can't beat the prices of Costco fuel! Everywhere else in-town is usually $.15 to $.25 more, with no wait, but it comes with a cost. If you choose the wrong time to go to Costco for fuel, or for anything, you should be expecting a long line. If you usually time your trips to get gas correctly, like early in the morning, there is normally no line or a very short wait to get fuel, but I can't complain because of the prices. I always get my fuel from Costco . . . and I ride a Schwin bicycle! read more

Best price by at least 20¢ per gallon! You just need a Costco membership and a Costco card, debit card, or Visa.. as well as time and patience if you go at peak times. Definitely expect a wait mid-mornings, late afternoons, and all day Sundays. I like to go the half hour before closing, when I can usually pull right up to the pump. Their hoses are long, so pull up to either side of the pump no matter which side your tank is on. There are No ancillary services, but that helps the line flow. Minus 1 star for the long lines and select hours. It would be nice to be able to go late night when needed! read more

Waiting in line is just what you have to do to get gas at CostCo. The line for Santee station is awful. I was the recipient of gas line rage yesterday afternoon. The attendant was called and he did NOTHING. This station in particular needs full time attendantS to keep the lines going and road rage to a minimum.
