Best car wash in a long time!! This is a full service car wash even if you get the $16 basic wash. These boys came to HAND preWASH the car. Scrubbed the windows and bird poop off the side, and blew out the leaves trapped underneath the windshield wipers. Then the car goes through the machine and waiting on the other side are MORE kids to clean the glass and wipe the car dry. Unfortunately we didn't have any cash to give them and apologized. His response was "we're just here to wash your car." Such good service and kindness. Love that! read more

Amazing customer service! A friend stopped by to pick up a drink & snacks for the long trip home to Escondido. She inadvertently left her wallet with ID, credit cards & retired fire badge on the edge of the counter. I located the store name & number. My friend left two messages. Three days later I stopped by to see if someone had turned a wallet in. There it was! The lovely owners asked me to face time my friend so they could validate the correct person but her phone is nit equipped with face time. The security in politely declining to release the wallet to a friend without being able to visually verify the wallet owner is to be commended. Clearly they are protecting the owner's property. My friend was placed on speaker phone & will retrieve her wallet tomorrow. THANK YOU for doing the right thing! I am genuinely grateful for people like this, particularly in these divisive times. Terrible gas station, everything is overpriced, $4 for a small bag of candy, I saw $10 for licorice?! They don't honor any of the promoted drink sales (2/$5 3/$6 on energy drinks) that every other shell has, even other one nearby. On top of that, when asked about something that i was looking for they were rude and acted as if it was annoying that I asked a question. Place is terrible and a giant rip off definitely stay away if you can and go somewhere else. read more

I want yelp to allow a 0 star. The business owners you never know what you're going to get. I have always stopped in here or the liquor store they own down the street. A convenient stop for gas, a lotto ticket, or a snack. The reason for the 0 stars.... I stop in for a $3 in lotto tickets. I give the guy a $5 bill. He proceeds to hold it to the light, turn it up and down and tells me he can't accept it. Apparently it was torn and re-taped. He says how it's no good and can't accept it. I guarantee you anywhere will take it as well as the bank. I said whatever and told him I didn't tape it and it is a $5 bill. I pulled out a $20 to pay and on my way. The way he inspected it, and talked to me as a line of customers was behind me was embarrassing. This guy has been rude before but not to this extent. Lost me in future business from gas or anything else. Looking at other reviews the same pattern of disrespectful approach to the community that is buying your goods and services. The crazy thing is after I got in my car I remembered the last time I used cash. I received the $5 that he didn't take was 3 prior at this gas station. They gave it to me in change, and then they denied taking it the next time I was in. I'll definitely share the crappy service and remind family and friends to go elsewhere. read more

Good selection, convenient location and they know it, too. This place is SUPER expensive and they don't have prices listed but on only a few items. I have come into this store a number of times within the last year and every time they say they are "working on adding the prices" but THE PRICES ARE NEVER LISTED on any of the items I consider buying. You think surely a snickers bar is affordable but, no,try almost $4! for a f*cking candy bar. They are taking advantage of us, the paying customers bc they are banking on you not putting everything back once you find out the FEW candies you just bought are gonna run you close to $30! There's a 7-11 just up the street, travel east on mission gorge. Go there instead! They have cheaper gas, too. read more

Nice place is they actually opened when they are supposed to. Multiple times I have been there at 05:00 am and the lights are still off. Most people are usually in a rush in the morning . I don't even bother going there now. read more

I walk here all the time from my condo. They always have the Thrifty Ice cream I love and the Bang Energy Drink Flavors. There's 2 men and a woman I always see and they are always super nice. The store is super clean and has everything you could need. They have a lot of extras too like SD hats and Marvel Keychains. I love coming here because of how friendly and helpful the owners are. There's always a parking spot and it's a huge parking lot. Getting in and out is always easy. I also can tie my Dog up outside so he doesn't scare anyone. Their Icee Machine is Always working too!!! read more

We take our toddler on walks to go buy a snack or drink once in a while. Typically it's a good time he would walk around the store and pick an item that he wants, look around and then be on our way. They have this toy section of cheap gas station toys right in the front of the store that any kid would want to look at and touch its candy and colorful. Tonight my husband and toddler went on a walk after dinner to the gas station for a treat. And after they paid for their items, my toddler was looking and playing with the candy toys they have, my husband said the person working there was eyeing them and getting upset about the toys. Mind you they were very careful and we are always with him the whole time to make sure that our son is careful and doesn't break anything that we turn things off after him. Tonight the man at the counter basically told my husband that our kid cant touch the toys cause they're for sale. Imagine that kids toys that kids can't touch but are for sale. Anyway, we've given this place a few chances, a month ago we let our kid pick a snack and he picked from the Japanese section, only to find out the next morning when we said he could have his treat that it was EXPIRED. We figured they were nice enough, still a convenient location so we decided it's fine. We didn't mention it or bring it up. But after tonight and prior experience, we will take our money elsewhere. Hot tip: if you're looking at getting snacks or anything check the expiration dates before buying. And I guess don't touch the toys, unless you want to be side eyed from the employees. read more

New station to Santee. Store is very clean and well stocked prices are fair for today's market. Staff is always friendly and greet you at the door. More of a Hometown gas station feeling from back in the day. read more

Real ones know this used to be mission gorge market but I like that it's a gas station now. I definitely miss the coziness of the previous convenience store.
