I debated posting this but it was weird and unnerving enough for me to post it here as an FYI to others, esp other solo woman. I went into the convenience store connected to the gas station tonight around 9:30 to purchase two Bangs and a pack of gum on my way to work. When I was paying at the counter I took my card out (after the screen told me too) and the clerk was like "you took your card out to fast dumb bitch." I'm like..."excuse me? It told me to take it out." And he's like "let's see if you can do it right this time dumb bitch." While he tapped the card reader. And I'm like..."alright no, fuck that I dont want it. If you're going to talk and act like that." And the guy starts screaming and yelling "FUCK YOU DUMB BITCH FUCK YOU YOU DUMB BITCH FUCK YOU." As I'm walking out of the store. There was a (very sweet) guy pumping gas who was like "is he talking to you? Are you ok?" I told him "yes, I took my card out too fast evidently so I'm a dumb bitch." All the while the cashier is still yelling obscenities from inside the store. Thankfully the gentlemen pumping gas waited until I was able to replace the pump and put my gas cap back on, I really think if he hadn't been there the situation would have escalated. Like I said I debated on posting this, I want people to know I'm not one to overreact (I'm routinely yelled at by hostile individuals at work) but this went above and beyond normal. I rarely feel the need to write reviews. In this case, I feel like I need to make people aware of this place. Plain and simple, I was charged twice by the owner (Brandon) and had to make two trips back to the station in order to get my refund. If I hadn't noticed, they would have gotten away with an extra $20. There was no need to charge me twice, and he thought I wouldn't notice. When I approached the second gentlemen who works there, he was very rude and confrontational. I will NEVER go there again, and will make every attempt to make people aware of these swindlers. Horrible service man behind the register was a complete asshole and hardly spoke english i would not recommend. I was cleaning my window before getting gas and he came out and yelled at me to hurry the f**k up because i was taking up a pump space he needs to make money so i left my windows half way done and took my money to arco one block over finished my windows and bought gas.. he lost a sale for being so rude. My car broke down on the 125 freeway and I walked to this station. I told the cashier about my situation and he had someone in the back room drive me to my car. Today I went to purchase gas at Go Gasoline on the corner of Mission Gorge Rd. and Carlton Hills Blvd. In Santee, CA When I went to the pump, I accidentally swiped the card backwards. The pump said see cashier. I voided it and tried again. I did it correctly, but I got the same message. I looked over and the station cashier was watching me and smiling. It was disturbing, so I just pulled up to the next machine and tried again. Once again I got the same message. I looked over and the cashier was waving at me. Feeling that I had no other choice, I went inside to pay. He asked me how much I wanted and I said $25, and then changed it to $30. He rang up $30.25. When I ask about the additional charge, he told me it was for using my card. When I pointed out that the pump didn't charge me a service fee, he told me "Yeah, but you came inside" and grinned. I told him then never mind, I would go somewhere else and ask him to void the charge. He told me that I could go somewhere else but he was not going to void the charge. Then he reached over and took my receipt and threw it away behind the counter. I told him that wasn't right, I didn't buy any gas. He told me "That's too bad" and smiled. As a woman every time I have been in this gas station I immediately regret it. Every male working there that I have encountered has made me feel very uncomfortable from the way they look at you and talk to you. Like you just walked into a local bar and you're the only woman that has walked in that night. Then my husband went there this morning. Tried to swipe his card at the pump, it said see cashier. He went in and they advised they'd ring him up at the counter instead. He paid with his card and went to pump. The guy ran out (while helping others) to stop him at $13 to advise he needs to pay cash. My husband was a little confused and advised he could only pay by card. The cashier insisted it had to be cash. So my husband proceeded to the ATM after the cashier advised he'd pay his ATM fees since it was his mistake. After he got his cash he paid $13 and asked the cashier about the ATM fee and the cashier said there was no way the fee was $3.5 gave him $2. My husband left irritated and heard the cashier mutter, what an asshole, after he walked out. I can't even understand how people like this even run a business. I would really like to see this gas station taken over by professionals because it is a very good location and would probably be frequented more if there were better people running it. read more

After my last visit I will NEVER go there again, and I will get word out to women everywhere to avoid this place. My 2 daughters and I went there, and after paying our pump kept shutting off. When we went in to see the cashier, he said it wasn't his problem and asked what I wanted him to do about it. I told him we only got $5 of the $25 we had paid for; after much complaining he said to go back outside and he would adjust it. Well the 2nd time he preset the pump for the wrong amount. I had to go inside again to tell him the amount was incorrect, to which he replied it is not his fault I did not know how to work the pump and mumbled "stupid woman." The 3rd time, the pump was once again preset for the wrong amount. So I went in one last time, obviously frustrated, to let him know the amount was. He then said I had put $9 in the first time (no, it was $5) and then preceded to say it was my problem and not his because again, I was too stupid to work the pump. I do have receipts to show the inaccuracies. When I asked to speak to the manager, the cashier said he was the owner, so I asked for a phone number to contact his superior, he refused to give one to me. After I started to get a little loud, another man came out from the back and said HE was the owner. I explained the situation, the 2 men started talking in Arabic; the "owner" then told me that it is my problem and that the cashier worked for him, not me. I left there very upset after being short changed and insulted. The cashier came out of the store as I was getting into my car and yelled "f****** b****!" Oh yeah, and as I mentioned, my 2 girls were in the car. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN, I URGE YOU NOT TO GO HERE.
