Normally I absolutely love this location! The staff is awesome and for the most part the food is great! I went there this afternoon and was disappointed. I got a Sweet Pork burrito and upon cutting into the burrito I discovered that my burrito was made mostly with big chunks of pork fat and about one piece of meat. The drive-thru has saved us on multiple occasions for when we want to limit our social interactions, the staff is always friendy and we love the food. I to the point I will never walk back into this place. They do not listen close to a person that has speech impairment due to oral cancer. I speak slow so they can understand and does not work. I can say pork burrito, no rice and refried beans. They alway try to place rice and I have to repeat my order 3 times. The female assistant manager is worthless. Last week I was, fighting to get all order place. Get to the cashier, she said the total and seems high. I went and gave her my card, then I would have reviewed the receipt. After she ran my debit card, she goes oh I did double charge, instead of crediting the extra item, she just reran my card again. We dine here often since they are very gluten free friendly. My wife has Celiacs and this place always changes their gloves and washes their hands before preparing her food. They seem very knowledgeable about cross contamination as they always offer to put her food in separate bags and the staff always seem very diligent about other staff members touching the bowl if they haven't changed their gloves and wash their hands. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love costa vida!! But I am vegetarian, meaning I do not eat meat. Whenever I go to costa vida I order a veggie salad with no meat. I was eating my salad when I tasted chicken in my mouth. So my instinct was to pull it out of my mouth. I looked at it and I knew it was chicken, because it had grill marks, it had the texture of chicken, it was the color of chicken breast, and it tasted like grilled chicken. You seriously can't go wrong here. I'm usually a sweet pork salad kind of girl, but today I was feeling spontaneous and gave their steak tacos a whirl. SOOOO glad I did! I may just have a new go-to. The workers were super awesome and accommodating with my picky toddler, and one of the workers even sat near us on her lunch break and checked on us before she sat down - totally going above and beyond the call of duty! I have had a problem with this location more times than not. Usually it is because they forget something or mess up something small, and I can get over that, but my last 2 experiences have made me realize that although pretty delicious, it is not worth it to give them another try. First I ordered a chicken tortilla soup through the drive through. When I got home I realized that it was only broth and chicken. No pico, no quac, no cilantro, no lime, no cheese... The second is disturbing. I bought a beef salad to go and no lie after eating 7 bites or so, I saw a gross fly size bug walking around in my lettuce!!!!! This was just over a week ago and I had forgotten about it, but my husband just told me his friend's wife also had a bad experience with cold soup and a replacement salad with....... a bug. This was on Mother's Day. Really? This is obviously a serious problem and I will never return!!!!!! Go to Cafe Rio. read more

As I am from Houston, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and selection of this Latin inspired chain. The shredded beef is delicious. The tortillas are awesome. Putting pico and guac on the outside of a burrito instead of inside is pretty weird, but still delicious. I'll keep this place on the list of good fast food on a road trip. read more

Stopped at cost Vidal in Spanish they just opened. Well they were rude and made a mistake and blamed it on us,basically they called us a liar. And started complaining about us before we even got out the door. So it is cafe rio for me and even when they. Are super busy they are still courteous and nice and they do not make you feel like they made me feel there. I was told it is a lot like that and the food is good but there customer service sucks, and they are rude! I will never go back and I will drive longer to go to cafe rio. read more

This is our go-to place for date night! They make sure our food is exactly what we want. Ask for extra grilled veggies! Preparers are friendly. We can understand everyone who speaks to us (sorry, but I don't like the places who rush you through the line and make you concentrate to understand what they're saying). The Costa Vida app is awesome and either saves us money or gets us a free item almost every time. Crowds were slow, so crew spent the entire time we were there cleaning everything! Costa Vida is good for a quick lunch. The nice thing about this location is the drive thru. I went inside for my visit. I have been to other locations before and this one was just ok. The food was fine but while I was watching them make my salad they ran out of lettuce. No big deal. They got more from the fridge under the counter and the placed the nasty looking bucket that held the lettuce in the area where the lettuce goes. After the employee put the lettuce in my salad she proceeded to dump the rest of the salad into the place where she set the nasty bucket. Gross! Needless to say I lost my appetite. I have worked in the food service industry for 10 years. I know what to look for in customer service and food quality blah blah blah. That being said, I am not calling myself an expert by any means. When I opened my chips and queso, I found that my chips seemed to have been crushed in a fit of rage. Bummer, but worse things have happened. They were all no more than an inch or 2 wide. Then I went to the queso, I ordered a regular and they promptly gave me a small that looked like it had been kept in the fridge overnight while being snacked on by the staff. It was half full, (optimism, boom.) cold and really disappointing. I gave the location a call and they seemed somewhat concerned but unsure as to how to handle things. I know working in the food industry is rough, but come on. This place is hiring high school kids with wavering ambition and a manager with even less. read more

I am a huge Costa Vida fan. But I've been sorely disappointed since moving to Spanish Fork and visiting this location. The food is totally inconsistent. Some times I'm like, "WOW! This is the best Costa has ever tasted!" and other times it doesn't taste right at all. I always get the sweet pork salad with everything on it. Not sure why, but it can be amazing some days, average others, and then terribly lacking too often to ignore. Another thing, the customer service is kind of crappy. My husband always orders a sweet pork burrito and would ask for tortilla chips on the side instead of pico and lettuce, and has never had a problem with this simple request at all the other CV locations we've frequented throughout Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. But here in Spanish Fork, we got a big No Can Do. What the crap? Also, the drive thru is S-L-O-W. Don't be surprised to be sitting in your car for 20+ minutes. We are so happy with our experience at this Costa vida. We were visiting from Washington. And they had a Costa vida in a nearby mall that shit down 4 months ago. Came here to visit family, and made sure to drop by. Did not regret that decision. Staff was very kind and fast. A customer ahead of us was complaining about something wrong and the staff did well to take care of it.
