Now I understand why this location can't stay open or have business. I made an appointment showed up Late which was my fault, fyi I went to wrong location first. So I walked in I said I had an appointment I apologize for being late I figure I would take my chance. Of course she said NO! I decided to get my haircut here because I don't know a good place in the area and this one was at a good price with pretty good reviews. The stylist that helped me was Val. She was very nice and she did the shampoo and conditioner, cut, and blow dry. It was a total of $24. Not including tip. I wanted to cut a lot of dead hair off the bottom so I asked her to cut it short. I showed her a picture and she did an awesome job at getting it just how I wanted it to look. I am giviing this place 3 stars because the hairdresser was so nice and it is located in Northglenn where I live. It is a very small salon!! I got a reasonably priced haircut with a friendly stylist. While discussing the overall high cost of getting hair colored professionally, she told me about a beauty school near the king Sooper I usually go to that had very reasonable prices. I had no idea a beauty school was there. That was really courteous of her and so I will go back. I know you don't alway get the same stylist unless you ask but that's OK, especially if they are all as helpful as she was. read more

I tried going to this place twice and each time it cost a good 16-17$ for a hair cut which I was not satisfied. The two different people who cut my hair didn't listen to what I said and it came out awful, and I wore a hat for the first couple weeks until it grew out the way I wanted, which I had to go back and trim the area correctly which they didn't. I just had my hair cut here. I went in not knowing what I wanted so I sat and looked at books for a while. I decided to keep my hair short and be honest with my stylist - I wash and wear - no curling, blow drying, or gel for me! I'm lazy and I admit it. I showed Annette the styles I liked and I told her to do what she thinks is best. I walked out with clean, beautiful hair and a nice bottle of shampoo she recommended. I'll be honest, I've never liked my hair before. Every haircut I've always settled and said "Yeah, it's okay." And hated it deep down. Today I left HAPPY. I love my hair now. Go to Annette! She's been in the biz for a long time and I now refuse to go anywhere else. Called last minute this afternoon and was told I could come in for a cut. Arrived to find no one waiting and only a few min full someone could see me. The gal that did my cut, Kaitlyn, was an absolute doll! She was knowledgeable, fast and friendly. Would definitely go back and see her again. She also did a great job on my brows! I have always give to the same person to cut my hair, however we don't talk anymore. So not knowing where to go, on a whim I decided to try this cost cutters. I told her exactly what I wanted, which was a simple long layer haircut, and even had her go back in and shorten the layers.. Going to beauty school myself and doing hair on the side for years, I know what a good cut looks like, and I have no idea what she did to my hair. Her name was Kaitlyn and her hair looked cute so I trusted her a little more than I should have.. I came home and had to recut it myself. She gave me nothing I asked for and it was uneven throughout. I went to Bonnie and got 5-star service. My hair was dark bold red with platinum blonde and I was scared about the change but wanted to inch towards my natural (dirty/ashy blonde). She didn't shy away from it. I've had my hair colored a lot over the years so my expectations weren't very high for a first round but she got the majority of the red out without it being orange/brassy. She is phenomenal & I love that she didn't think I was asking too much of her. I can't wait to see her again for a cut and conditioning treatment!! read more

No star if possible! This review is for March 2016 Dear #costcutters! I cannot explain my disappointment on this... I went to your salon hoping to get a nice haircut I wanted.. (middle picture) as I had my hair down to my waist! I sat down showed her the picture. Im no pro to salon routine... but i believe she should've sprayed it with water to see the actual length first or be offered to shampoo it first.. but nothin... she just went ahead combed it and started cutting! I felt it to be a little too high.. but since I cant see it on the back.. I just waited but as she starts goin to the front,there it is.. really short... I told her I think its too high I said.... way different from the picture.. what else can I do.. glue my hair back? See im not that person who makes other people bad in front of them but I was really really disappointed... I cant further explain my disappointment on this but seems like she's so new to this job. How is this the same with the haircut I wanted? I Even told her I liked how light it was.. but as i leave and come home and really see my hair i ****** hate it!!! Martha is the ONLY hair professional who has been able to not only work with my Mom's hair, she's ninety with beautifull silver WIRY course hair, but make it look fantastic! We have gone several times for cuts but we decided to try a perm this time too. She did a perm and later a cut that makes her look so pretty!!! Had one of my worst hair cuts ever. I guess these kind of salons are called 'Chop Shops' for a reason. Can't speak for the other stylists - but I can say for sure, do not let Kaitlyn cut your hair. There were several chunks that did not blend with anything, had to even it out when I got home and will need to get it re-cut in a few weeks. Roxanne is AMAZING! I have gone to this location for a few years now and have had cut, perm and color done by her. I have gone in with an idea of a color and she was able to mix it and make it look fabulous. I made an error in judgment a couple of months ago by using a GC for another salon to get a spiral perm put in. The stylist fried my hair and I lost multiple inches from my once long hair. My hair was unmanageable and frizzy. I tried so many things to fix it on my own with no success. This was a job for Roxanne! I walked in and told her what happened and she gave some suggestions. She then sat me down and worked her magic. I couldn't believe my eyes! There was a beautiful spiral without frizz. My hair is still shorter than I wanted but that will take a different kind of Magic. Roxanne is truly the best!!! The other stylists in this store are wonderful too. I will never stray again. read more

My family has been coming to this location for years. Was recently treated with the most awful customer service. Made an appointment and my time slot was given to another customer. I was told I would have to wait for a rather long time. Not only was the employee rude in person, but rather rude on the phone as well. If you want repeated customers, you need to be kind.
