Epic Hair Studio is located in this massive building/hub of salons that they call Salon Republic. At first I worried it would be difficult to find your specific salon once you enter, however they make it very easy. There's a receptionist at the front who can walk you or direct you to the correct room. Or, like in my case, your hair stylist will be waiting at the front for you. I am so happy I went with Epic Hair Studio because Christen is amazing! She was kind enough to work with me on my early morning time request and my hair ending up looking great! I just wanted a few inches off and a better shape to my bangs. It has been about a month and I'm loving how she made my bangs look! Also, she's also such a sweetheart. I was feeling a bit stressed that morning with my rush to get ready for the wedding, but once I got chatting with Christen I was feeling at ease in no time. I booked the appointment with the receptionist, rates on line for a partial highlight say $140+. Went to appointment, had partial highlight done, nothing else. No frills salon, clean, friendly staff, highlight color was fine. I'd just had my hair highlighted/cut 5 weeks before this appointment at a different higher end salon in Thornton and paid $140 for a partial and haircut, this is a 5/6 week ritual and I was looking for a permanent salon who can do a simple highlight blonde color that my last (out of state) salon did for over five years for $120.00. Nothing crazy, very basic. At check out the receptionist said the visit was $230.00, I was shocked at the price because this was a very basic partial highlight using Redken products. I've been to two other higher end salons in Thornton where I was charged $140- included haircut & $160 - included gloss, for the same service but felt the color was still a bit off after trying both places so wanted to try Trendz. I paid the $230 and gave her a 20% tip, booked another appointment and left. After I got home I was upset about the price because we had never discussed it, I assumed it would fall into line on what there website says, as well as what I'd paid at two other salons in Thornton. I sent Sarany a text thanking her for the service but told her I was unhappy with the charge. She replied back that she charged me the base rate due to the recommendation of the receptionist instead of her normal charge - whatever that means???? and if I wanted her to cancel my next appointment due to price she would & recommended I return to a less expensive salon. Greed is NEVER good. Making a few extra bucks off me, won't pay off. I ended up paying $275 with tip for a partial highlight, my bad for not clarifying pricing, but her bad for taking advantage. So instead of a new happy client that has regular service every 5/6 weeks and always tips 20% she has an unhappy client that will never go back. The positive is the color was good & she was friendly, I would have returned- probably for several years! Now I'm wasting my time writing a review warning new clients to get pricing (in writing-don't trust there website prices) before your appointment so you don't feel taken advantage of like I do. I thought going to the hairdresser was supposed to be fun, nothing was fun about this experience, very disappointed and put off about even trying another salon.

I went back to get them touched up a year later and she was out of the color she originally used. She didn't tell me this before she started tattooing and it was more red and the shape was completely different. She used hard strokes instead of feathering. I need to get them touched up again and will not be going back. Definitely don't recommend. Darnell, thank you for reaching out. I am writing a review now because I need to get my eyebrows fixed. I actually came in 3 times. The second time I came in was for touch up's and I was charged even though I shouldn't have been. Despite this, I came back a third time. You absolutely told me that you didn't have the same color as my first appointment but "it was basically the same." I didn't come back for my touch up the second time because I thought you would charge me again. I've attached a photo. I appreciate your edit noting that touch ups are required. As I said before, I did go back after about a year. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photo, the shape is uneven and looks blocky instead of natural. Additionally, the color doesn't match my natural brows. From the photo I posted, do you stand behind this work? I've gotten a few other recommendations and will need laser removal (which isn't guaranteed because of the red tones.) My intent posting this review is that others are aware of the lack of consideration taken for a permanent service. My eyebrows do not look good; even though they have faded, you can not argue the shape or why there is no color in the middle. Not to mention I was overcharged and never offered a chance to book the 4 week touch up. I'm sure your other services are great, but I would not recommend micro blading.

I paid around $100 for my nails, and I've been trying to live with them for the past three days, but they look so bad that I'm actually going to another nail salon today to have them fixed. I even helped remove my old nails before she started because she was having difficulty removing them, yet I was still charged for the removal. I also asked if we could do a specific design, which was simply cheetah print and some lines, and was told they couldn't do it because they didn't have the supplies. I completely understand if a salon doesn't offer a particular design, but the quality of the nails I received was still extremely disappointing. Honestly, my 12-year-old niece could have done a better job. I don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for a salon I otherwise enjoy for hair, but for nearly $100, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I would not recommend getting your nails done here.
