My first experience at this nail place was absolutely amazing, I saw Katie. I came back after not having nails for about 2 months and just decided to walk in expecting the same service I received the last time. This appointment Katie was not there. To start this appointment the lady wanted to go back and forth with me about doing gel x and I had to keep telling her no I don't like the way it burns my skin. Finally settling that I wanted acrylic she begins. We established from the color on my nails that I do hair so I have a cosmetology license. I explain I am pretty picky when it comes to my nails because I have had my cuticles flooded before and ended up loosing a nail for a while. Even after all of that the expected service I thought I was going to get was not what I got. And yes I was asking for things to be fixed and when I have to make more than a handful of request and when I watched her leave this acrylic on my skin and not even cleaning it out from the back of my nails I gave up on her knowing what she was doing. And to top it off idk how she thought the design was correct. It would have been more professional and appreciated had she said she couldn't do it rather than taking my money and literally making my nails look like a child did them. She also didn't listen when I asked for my nails to be matte so she had to buff it off and re polish now I have a shiney outline and matte inside and you can see the brush stroke on the nails making them look tacky. Also I think the worse part is when I went to Katie I paid $55 for my nails and they were absolutely perfect and yes this time I did do a polish change on my toes so I know that adds to the total. The quality of work I received for the 100 I paid this time is actual robbery. I am a single mom and I don't mind paying for good service as I am in the service industry but I am actually upset at the inconsistency in work and cost for the quality. I have attached pictures of both payments to show the difference as well as what I asked for today and the quality of the work received today as well as last appt. I recommend Katie but do not recommend Britney for acrylics. And now I'm screwed because I spent my last in these nails for my holiday party. Decided to give this place another chance, as there are not a lot of great nail salons in the area. Came in and requested the design on the right. Was told by leah le that she could do it. After washing my hands..... leah informed me that they were out of red polish. Although nail tech apologized for the mistake. I thought this was strange given that it is Valentine's Day weekend! Her mistake still cost me $55. I guess she wasn't that sorry, makes me think that her mistake was intentional. Left with plain nails! Wouldn't have proceeded to get my nails done if I was informed that they didn't have the colors to complete the design before getting started. So much for a self care day! Great atmosphere and the nail technicians do a good job with full sets and my favorite is the pedicure they do the hot stone and hot towels, you can also get a massage and free drink included with certain pedicures which is a win. I did a dip mani, and a gel pedi with Sophie on Valentine's day. Her drill burned my nails so many times, she was constantly on her phone texting and going outside while I would sit there and wait in the middle of my pedicure. The message part of my pedi lasted 5 minutes total but broken up due to her being on her phone. She seemed very careless, like she doesn't value her customers at all. She mentioned to me that I was too picky and to next time make an appointment with someone else, which I thought was extremely rude and unprofessional. I go here from time to time because it is very close to my home and convenient, but they have lost a customer in myself. I just got my nails dipped on 3/8/24 and today is 3/12/24 and i already have 4 chipped or cracked nails. There is no reason why a dip set should be cracked and chipping after only 3 days. I've been to other nail salons where a dip powder set usually lasts for 3-4 weeks before any cracking, lifting, or chipping happens. Don't waste your time and money When you walk in it feels like they just opened up, no design and unorganized. The place is VERY dirty and dusty. I came in for a pedicure, sat down in my chair and the tech started spraying and wiping down the chair arms while I was in it... why didn't he do it before I sat down?! The Customer service of the owner was exemplary. He went beyond my expectations when he offered to walk me to my truck. It was raining so hard you could barely see in front of you. I was reluctant to go outside, but he assured me he would get me to my vehicle. I was holding on so tight, and his only concern was getting me to my truck. It was pouring rain and I lost my shoe, so we had to turn around to get my shoe but he didn't mind. I was soaked by the time I got in the truck, but it was definitely service worth being recognized. I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. I should have got his name but I was too annoyed to even ask.. I asked for the design (first pic) and the second and third pic is what I got.. he first gave me a weird look and questioned my request as if I was asking for too much... I took those pictures outside of the nail salon the day I got them. So has he was glueing the nail on I saw he did it crooked but I gave it a chance and was trying to trust the process.. has he was finishing he then said your finger is crooked and that's why it looks like that. I've been getting my nails done for over 17 years and have never heard someone say that to me. He also told me my nails will be lifting because my nail beds are thin...he predicted his own screwed up work..and yes, my nails are lifting after only having them for 5 days.. this was also a fresh full set.. I made an appointment for 1:45pm on a Sunday for a mani/pedi (price $33). I waited almost an hour before finally starting my pedicure. After such a long wait I assumed I'd receive attention but that was the quickest pedicure of my life to date. Luckily, I had a different woman do my manicure. She apologized for my wait and took extra time to make my manicure perfect. Had it not been for my manicurist I would give one star. I do not recommend wasting your time with a reservation. I tend to stay away from nail salons on Saturday mornings because of the smells associated with women's nails. Never in my life have I ever had a toenail fungus until I came here. The man who did my toe nails did not clean anything he used after he finished my feet, which tells me that he didn't clean anything that he used on my feet. I knew that was a bad sign when he simply washed of the tools he used and placed them back in the tray. No sanitation whatsoever. I will also be contacting the State to see if they can investigate them for not being hygienic. I am now going to see a dermatologist to see how I can get this fungus before it spreads. Also, my cousin came and got her eyebrows tinted and they were uneven. The tech even let her leave with the dye on her eyebrows and told her to wipe it off when she got home. When I finally got a seat I had time to look around because there were very few staff available/working on a Saturday evening. When looking around the place is in need of deep cleaning. Nothing was clean and there was so much trash on the floor. There was even trash surrounding the complimentary wine. I sat my phone down on the counter and there was so much cuticle/nail dust on the counter from the previous person ( that wasn't wiped up) it got all over my phone. It made me feel concerned for my health, and I actually had to leave before they even started my nails. I advise all to stay away from this place. Customer service is horrible and the entire place needs a deep cleaning. At first glance it looks like a pretty nice establishment but if you look at details you can see how dirty and unkept it really is. Towards the end of getting my toes done a ROACH fell on my arm. I freaked out and slapped it off of me and it fell into the water. My technician acted like it was normal and just took the bug out and placed it on the floor. I asked her if she was going to kill it but she just left it there saying it would go away. I was so uncomfortable and I would of got up and left but I already had started the process of having gel polish on my toes so I decided to just let her finish. Before she could finish painting ANOTHER bug crawled on me!Although it was just a love bug this time, it didn't matter because I was already spooked from the roach. Once she was done I asked to speak with a manager and was told she was not there. So a man approached and I explained to him my situation his response was "it's just a bug". When I got there at 1015 there was at least 8 people in there full blown into their services. I don't now maybe they were there when the doors opened. I was seated after maybe 5 minutes. Their water works in an odd way my water was cold but I didn't ask for them to fix it because the process required for her to run water from 3 chairs down until it got hot then turn mine on. Weird. She started working on my feet and I was never shown a price or given a menu. I asked and she gave me one. I have never gone to a place that offered complimentary wine only with the more expensive services. Look I like my wine and pedi what can I say. Gel polish is already peeling after 4 days. Sincerely, the money I paid was not worthy. Let me start by saying I had an appointment on Monday May 31st, when I showed up to the appointment they were CLOSED, they didn't even called to let me know so I waisted my time going all the way there. This was so unprofessional, and the worst thing is that the service was already paid for so I couldn't go somewhere else to get my nails done. I went back on June 3rd and got gel manicure and pedicure. I don't even have words to describe the terrible job and bad quality of products. Just look at the pictures. My pedicure polish looked like it's shrinking, I had to tell the tech about it and she immediately removed it and did them again but only my toes. After she redid them, it started to shrink again. Manicure polish was all over my skin which looks nothing like a well done job. After 4 days my gel polish is already peeling which is EXTREMELY unacceptable. I have done my nails at home with gel polish and it looks better than this AND it lasts 2-3 weeks, that's the quality of the product! This place sucks. I recently moved to Tampa and decided to give it a try. I went there for a dip powder manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure was ok. My dip powder manicure was terrible. I actually came home and redid my nails. The application was uneven and I could see through it in some places. My nails prior were evenly cut and in a squoval shape. She cut them uneven and some of them were square ans some of them were squoval. They are also super slow. This was my longest nail appointment ever (over 3 hours). She also did not clean off her workspace before she tried to get started. I had to ask her if she wasn't going to clean it up before we started. Unhygienic with poor customer service and skills. When I first came here, service was great. It became my go-to nail salon. Unfortunately, I didn't get the names of the nail techs who did my acrylics and dip powder (I get a different person every time but they were wonderful - customer service and such). Atmosphere is great and it doesn't get too busy. On this particular visit, I got the next available nail tech who started out very nice and personable. But when I asked to have one side of my nail filed down, he seemed quite annoyed. He even yelled at me because I kept asking and alternating which side of the nail to file (each side would become shorter than the other after each filing - I needed him to make it even).
