Purchased a 2024 Edge at Corwin, it was a very painful process. Now, 9 months later, I am attempting to get both info and service. Service scheduling was over 2 weeks out. Over the last 4-5 days I have called 3 times and never got to talk to anyone other than the receptionist. Left 3 messages and never a call back. Just called Pierre Ford in Prosser and got to talk to a service manager first try. Service at Pierre Ford provided the information immediately and stated scheduling is usually within the week. Going forward I will not trust Corwin to do much of anything on our new Edge. The recurring theme, in my opinion, is poor management. read more

Went to test drive, looked around lot and found a couple I would like to test drive, called a sales associate, he came out and didn't know if the trucks were sold or not called someone to find out then went back into building said he would be right back and then never saw him again. I recently worked with TJ Tolliver from the Internet sales team. He was a solid guy, easy to work with, honest w/ no BS. He fought hard for the deal and we ended up getting it done... I'd absolutely work with him again. TJ gets a 5 star rating. Curt Watson on the other hand, was the typical greasy car guy you always hear about. Like an annoying gnat constantly flying in your face, he just kept trying to get me to buy the extended warranty... no matter how many time I told him that I didn't want it. Then once I got into the booth to sign papers, the lady said "sign here for your oil change maintenance plan." This greasy POS realized that he wasn't gonna make a dime off me so he tried to slip in a $400 maintenance plan... not on my watch! We never even talked about an oil maintenance plan. Needless to say, I put the brakes on that real quick so he came in with all of the typical backpedaling followed by a plethora of excuses of how it happened. Since I've lived here, I have purchased two cars and traded one in with Corwin ford. Most all of the staff seem honest and genuine. Except Curt, Curt is a greasy annoying gnat. I notice that the first thing on this form is a rating scale. I also noticed that there are a LOT of one star reviews, mainly because it doesn't allow zeros. My first experience with the sales people was that they all stressed the need for a five star review. Never once did I see anyone trying to EARN five stars. We bought a car that turned out to be a true blue lemon. It had electrical parts during the test drive. the salesman said he would have the service department run a full diagnostic and make sure everything was fixed. we bought the car, and all the error message came back on the way home. we returned it the next day, and found out he had lied and just pushed the reset button. He had the nerve to ask again for a five star review. He got all ones. He then called up crying and begging me to "fix" my review. If this is the priority that management stresses, someone should clear out the management. read more

I've gotten my car serviced here a few times. One of the times they forgot to reset my oil life display, but everything else was great. The most recent visit was very disappointing. One of the ladies behind the counter didn't wear a mask, and one of the mechanics didn't either. Then a manager came in to talk about an issue with the employees right in front of the customers. It was a little uncomfortable to witness. When my car was done I found they took no care with making sure they didn't get it dirty. Lots of grease/ dirt all over my steering wheel and along the floor. I had to spend quite some time cleaning it up when I got home and I couldn't get it all out of the carpet. read more

I was in the market for a new truck (F-250 Super Duty) and was at the dealership getting a quote. They took my 2012 out for a test drive to appraise it and came back with the news that it was surging and not developing power! Astonished, I went with Corwin person to drive it and, sure enough, it was behaving the way he described. I decided to leave the truck there and rode home with my wife. The service dept. was already closed, so I called the next day. The first appointment opening available was over a month away, but they said they would try to work it in. Well, they had the truck problem diagnosed in a day (bad turbo hose) and a new part was in a day or two later and the truck was running like new. Mission accomplished. The delivery of the new truck was quoted at 6 to 8 months. Flabbergasted, I said I was used to 6 to 8 WEEKS. They replied that was the way it used to be until the supply chain problems. Okay, I would still get the new truck before my multi-state trip next spring. Two months later I got an email informing me the truck was in! I couldn't believe it. But, I had an issue: I had a minor fender-bender in the meantime. Corwin said, "No problem, you can get it appraised as-is." I already had the repair scheduled, so I told them I will just wait until it is fixed in a couple of weeks. Corwin came back with "We will take your truck to the auto body shop and give you the full appraised price." YES! I brought it in, and we closed the deal on the new truck. They suddenly undervalued my trade in and the vehicle I was there to get was in worse shape than their pictures and statements had made it seem. I had a very poor experience with these people. VERY high pressure sales tactics and very high prices - well over MSRP. It is my opinion they are engaged in questionable/shady business practices like requiring a 'non refundable' deposit/downpayment to even begin the buying process. They asked for that deposit while telling me I only had seconds to decide if I wanted the vehicle or not. They didn't even give me time to fully review the features/options package before offering the car to someone else. Yikes! I had to have an argument with the sales manager about declining the extended warranty. I told him very clearly I was quite capable of fixing my own vehicle and would be comfortable paying for any repairs as needed - without an extended warranty. We went around in circles 3 times while he insisted I explain in greater detail why I didn't want to buy it. During the purchase process I was able to review the vehicle more thoroughly and found that the vehicle I 'reserved' was really not suitable for my purposes. I declined to purchase the vehicle before signing all of the paperwork. Once that happened the dealer tried to keep every dime of my down-payment. The manager laughed at me when I asked for it back and told me the way they did business was for my benefit, not theirs (what a joke!). Only after a written demand letter did they reverse course and refund my down payment. I'd give these people 0 stars if I could. read more

Purchased a 2017 Ford Escape in Dec 2022 - thankfully we bought an extended warranty. After the 1st oil change (by Corwin) - the motor had no compression and it would be 3 months before it they could get it into the shop to even look at it. I took it to another Ford Dealer and they replaced the motor under warranty. not even 6 months later the PTU/Transmission went out. This car doesn't even have 115K miles on it and now the warranty service says they won't pay due to the repair costs being more than the car was bought for. I've just barely had the car for a year and basically have only driven it 3 months and now it's going to cost me another 4K to get it fixed. read more

Worst car service hands down I have ever experienced. I will not be going back. First off, the design of the service department reminds me of a slaughter house. You have chutes to go in to to meet with a representative. Its all closed off and claustrophobic. Perhaps when you update or remodel look at some of Temple Grandin's design work. At least those are happy cows. Bad design can be forgiven if service is good. Which it is not. My husband is listed as primary on the vehicle (we signed for it and bought it together). Despite being told several times I was going to be primary driver. Apparently that is now permanent. If I want to set up a service appointment or any thing with my truck, it has to be done under my husbands name. Which MIGHT have been tolerable if at least they could call me by my name (Debbie). The entire day I was called Nate and told to tell my husband this or that etc. So they don't get my name right... if only it stopped there. Dropped my truck off at 9AM asked what time it would be done. The time estimate they gave was a couple of hours, so ok 11 or noon. Let me translate their code into real time: any minute now - less than an hour; almost done - within two hours; a couple of hours - 6+ hours. So around 1pm after not hearing from them all day (mind you I was shuffled around through 3 people trying to get an answer before I just gave up and texted my service rep directly). I get the answer I'll like into it for you and get back to you. Ok no problem. Except, I hear nothing back. At all. So around 3 I get a text my truck is done and a shuttle will be around to collect me to bring me back. Shuttle shows up a bit after 4. Which, I won't complain about. Your shuttle driver is a saint. He was very busy and had even more runs to make. So I get to the dealership and ask about my truck where I was told actually it had been my husband who had been getting service updates instead of me. Again, despite being told that I was the primary on the vehicle, despite changing the number on the account to be my number (I guess they didn't do that since it was still my husband they were calling). And I'm still being called Nate now by multiple people - whom I have politely corrected, actually, it's Debbie, multiple times now. I guess they just really rather have my husband's business rather than mine. No problem. If he ever takes the truck in he can get work on it done there at Corwin. As for me, I'm going someplace where they at least get my name and contact the person who is actually waiting on the truck rather than the guy at work with no cell service. As a fun aside - I had emailed/ talked to a couple of people about getting me as the primary on the account, since, hey it is my truck. The email went a little bit like - is this number xxx-xxxx a good contact number for you. I replied in the affirmative. I got an email back - the number he tried yyy-yyyy was out of service, is there another number we can use. To which I reply - that is the incorrect number (although it is correct in your first email?). My correct number is xxx-xxxx, and I am free these hours to talk (insert hours here). Since which it has been radio silence for 3 days. Pity service was the worst I've ever experienced. The sales guy was a very decent fellow. I appreciate him (Kevin) and his time. He worked very well with us to get us the price we needed to make the sale happen. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would we bought a 2012 f350 my husband ask numerous times if they had found the second set of keys our sales guy said no,no,no he said he looked back there himself. We also wrote up in the deal that the crank filter needed to be changed we called our sales guy he said that it was on back order for 6 months well I had ordered a second key I had a feeling he was not telling the truth so we asked for the filter gave the vin and wow they had the filter and it was in stock at Corwin that was just the first lie then the second we ask the finance guy if the had possibly found the second key and guess what they had it after we purchased the key. I am not a yelp reviewer but this place is a bunch of Liars they all tried to cover it up lol. This is a warning to not walk away RUN!!!!!! They also said they had to program the key we purchased which cost 200 that is not true I programmed it in 12 seconds. read more
