I had a pair of pants that had a stain on it, and I took it in two weeks ago to have it cleaned. I was told by the gentleman on duty that it would be no problem to get the stain out. He guaranteed it. I went to go pick it up and the stain was still there. He again said it would be no problem that they would get the stain out that they would reclean it. I went to go pick it up today. The stain is still there, and the woman was so rude at the front when I told her that the gentleman told me it was a guarantee to come out. I will never go here again and I do not recommend anyone to go here if you want quality and good customer service. $330 for 6 shirts and 6 pillow covers?? We took six regular men's cotton shirts and 6 throw pillow covers: one velvet and the others poly/linen blend to this cleaners. They charged us $35.75 per cover!! The total came to $330! Un-freakin-believable. We were tempted to let them keep the covers. When my husband balked at the total amount, the store clerk deducted $14 off each cover with an employee discount. Even then, to get our items we paid $220. I've been using Corry's since they were in their old location near Ballard high school and they consistently provide quality, personalized service. I like all of my garments dry cleaned regardless of care instructions and they never fail me. Prices may be slightly higher than others but you get what you pay for. I once tried a competitor because I had some items that needed altering and decided to also give them my dry cleaning so I would only have one stop. I won't go into specifics but Big Mistake! Consistent, excellent cleaning. If you have a loose button or a hole in a pocket they'll fix at the same time. Check different coupon apps for discount coupons. You can't always find them but it's worth a check. Also, sign up for their mailing list. You'll occasionally get a coupon in the mail. read more

You know that saying, that if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it? That applies here. I feel violated. I just got the bill from Corry's for my dry-cleaning, and it is absurd. Beyond absurd. And I should have known because nowhere do they post their prices. Not on their website. Not in their store. Not on the slip they give you as you walk out the door. And if you have a coupon, you had better use it when you come in, because once you get the bill, you're going to regret if you didn't. They won't accept it after you drop off your clothes (incoming orders? who would know what that means??) How bad is it? $8 for a pair of dry cleaned pants. $4 for a laundered shirt. That is double what I have paid at any other establishment. And it is patently absurd. My mistake for not checking Yelp first. read more

The cleaning job (sport coat and dress shirts) seems fine, the store is clean, and the service is fine. Now... If they only honored their own Valpak coupons properly, I might give them another star or two. Coupon says "$10 off next order of $25 or more. Present with incoming order." Which I did, and my order was close to $30. But then the clerk says that an "order" has to consist of 5 items or less. I'm thinking, wtf, this is bait and switch! Nothing about that on their Valpak coupon. They should ethically disclose their lame 5 piece rule or they'll piss off potential customers, and damage their credibility. read more

I do not dry clean often, so I can't speak to the prices. I cleaned a pea coat, suit jacket and suit pants and it cost me $40. I have used Corry's several times now; had a lot of weddings this summer and I leave it on the dance-floor, if you know what I mean. Had to clean the suit a bunch and they always take great car of me! If you have 3-4 items, the turn-around is normally only a couple days. I spilled a tincture on the sleeve of my favorite cashmere sweater. I took it in the next morning and pointed out the problem. The sweater came back totally mangled. The counter person just passed it off as normal when I checked. There wasn't even a note about the damage or discount on the price. The manager, that I was supposed to talk to, was never available. When I was young, I once picked up a table cloth for my grandmother at the cleaners. The cleaner pointed out each spot he was unable to fix. I am beyond disappointed that they were so dishonest about being able to clean my sweater and tried to just pass it off as all good. The counterperson inferred that it is a large business and sometimes communication doesn't happen. I understand that - but the follow up customer service has lost them a customer. They write your name with black permanent marker directly on your white shirts and consider this normal and don't understand why you're complaining, but instead tell you to tuck in your shirts so their writing is not visible...thank you very much, but dry cleaners are not supposed to tell me how to wear my shirts to address their "normal" cleaning process issues. Don't go there if you agree with me that dry cleaners should _never_ write on your clothes. I consider my shirts ruined now... 0 stars. read more

There's no excuse for complaining about cost. Ask for their price list before you use them. I don't dry clean items often--dresses, wool clothes, a comforter now and then--but I've used Corrys about ten times and have never had a bad experience. They email you when your items are ready, and the location is very convenient. read more

This is a way overdue review for a visit I paid this location back before Yelp even existed. Like others, I unsuspectingly dropped off two cotton shirts here to be cleaned. They were courteous enough with a normal turnaround time, but holy crap! When I came to pick up, the bill was $20 for two shirts!! I was pretty shocked and it's gratifying to see that others at other Corry's around Seattle have had the same experience. There's an abundance of awesome mom and pop cleaners that offer superior prices with equivalent or superior quality of service. I took in a Tommy Hilfiger comforter (that I purchased at Macy's) to be cleaned and the woman claimed that it wasn't a comforter, but a bedspread and said the charge was going to be over a $100! I explained to her that it was a comforter and not a bedspread and she couldn't comprehend it's nautical design of metal gromets and canvas-like material. Also, she kept asking me "you sleep under this?". Yes, it's a comforter and that's what you do with it. This back and forth went on for a few minutes and I then said "no thanks" and left. I went to another drycleaners and they recognized it as a comforter and charged me $40.00 and it came out fine. Corry's is the most expensive dry cleaner I have ever used. I don't mind paying extra for better service but there's nothing there that is a step above anywhere else. The people working there are kind, which deserves mention, but Sparkle Cleaners on Market is much better in all respects. read more

These guys did a great job of cleaning and pressing the 18 shirts. Big caveat though, don't plan on using that $25 coupon in ValuPak as they don;t seem to honor it honestly. The bill was $66, and we ended up paying $51. Their math is a little fuzzy and their customer service blows. They passed the disparity off as taxes, even though the tax rate in Seattle is 9.6%. read more
