I had an amazing dining experience at Corridor 109 in Ktown. Every course was beautifully presented and the seafood tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell they focus on quality and letting the natural flavors shine. Everything was delicious. Some of the standout bites for me were the ebi, the incredibly flavorful horse mackerel toast, and the hotate, which was delicate and perfectly prepared. Each dish felt thoughtful and unique, and the pacing of the tasting menu made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. The atmosphere is intimate and a perfect night for anyone who loves great food and great service. The staff was absolutely amazing. Thank you!! Corridor 109 for one of the most wonderful, amazing and absolutely beautiful dining experience in my life.

The ambiance, the service and of course the food were all top notch! Everything you'd expect in a restaurant of this caliber. Chef Brian Baik delivers a dining experience that is a culmination of his time working at multiple prominent dining establishments in NYC, and it is a noteworthy experience! I had the opportunity to dine during his soft opening, and the quality of ingredients used are well thought out and delicious. Each dish is beautiful in preparation, in the use of colors, flavors and even the plating! The seating is limited to 10-11 a night, which makes for an intimate and exclusive experience. When the restaurant is available to the public, please do yourself a favor and book it before you're unable to do so! You won't regret it.

This restaurant came up on my IG feeds... looks awesome... we were not disappointed! The restaurant does not take reservations online. We came on a weeknight, found a street parking right infront and got seated right away (scored!) They have 4 tower sets: crew set ($109) serving 1-2 persons, chief set ($159.99) serving 3-4, master ($219.99) serving 4-5, captain ($299) serving 5-6. They also have a la carte, hot pot, etc. We had crew set which includes 1.4 lbs Manila clams, 2 whole shell oyster, large clams, shrimps, mussles, scallops, octopus, potatoes, served with korean ceviche, steam egg, pancake, spicy rice cakes, korean noodle soups. There are 3 different dipping sauces which are delicious. It is a lot of food. You definitely get your money worth here. The staff is friendly and attentive. They cooked the seafood at the table. The air ventilator is pretty good but I probably won't wear my must dry-clean clothes to dine here. Overall, Burnin' Shell did live up to its hype!

The staff are very attentive and kind, and I can confirm that their food is fresh and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try that Mac and cheese. Everything was extremely fresh--honestly felt like eating straight out of the ocean. The Kumamoto oysters with horseradish stood out the most for me--smooth, buttery, and just clean. Every oyster was high quality, no misses. The Rockefeller oysters were rich and well done, a solid addition to the whole experience. What really made the night, though, was the service. Cheam took care of me from start to finish and absolutely nailed it. He helped me choose the oysters, recommended the perfect wine to go with them, and his timing was spot on the entire time. On top of that, I came in wanting to watch the NBA playoff game, and without me even asking, he suggested moving me to a better spot at the bar where I had a clear view. That kind of awareness and attention to detail stands out. Cheam's service, recommendations, personality, and overall style were a 9.9 out of 10--only because I don't believe anything is perfect. But he's as close as it gets. Great food is expected at a place like this, but service like that is what brings you back. I'll definitely be returning.

As for the food let's get into it: - Smoked Trout Dip (9/10) surprisingly one of our favorite dishes, packed a lot of flavor and paired perfect with the crackers. - Sicilian Crudo (10/10) I've had this at other places, but found oyster does it right. Will be adding caviar next time. - Oysters (8/10) prices were reasonable and the oysters themselves were delicious. Wish they had Kumamoto oysters but their selection was more local. - Clam Chowder (7/10) Wasn't terrible, but I prefer a more thicker chowder. Still, at $9 a cup I would give it another try. Overall a great experience. The service was really good especially at the bar. Would I go again? Absolutely!

Back then, they didn't take reservations, but I noticed recently that they started accepting reservations via Resy, so I made a reservation and my husband and I came here in March. Found Oyster is located in East Hollywood, on the same street where Saffy's is. It can be a bit hard to find street parking nearby because of neighborhood rules, but we managed to find a spot after circling a bit. The restaurant is very small, but it has both indoor and outdoor seating. I think the size of it adds to the charm. It also has a nautical theme inside and a New England feel about the place. The seating options inside are either at the bar, or tiny high-top tables. For appetizers, we shared the peel and eat prawns, half a dozen oysters and the sicilian crudo. Everything was good, but the servings were smaller than I expected. I also think that the peel and eat prawns would have been pretty mediocre without the special sauce. For mains, my husband got the lobster roll, while I had the mussels. His lobster roll was good, but in my experience it's hard to go wrong with buttered lobster on bread served with fries. My mussels were fresh and tasty. They were good, but nothing to write home about. Service was friendly and efficient.

We forgot how difficult it can be to find parking in LA, but we managed to find one on the side of the road, just to find out... this restaurant has their own parking lot. Hehe. Went around 5pm and saw we were the first ones seated while a handful of people came and gone for to go orders. I immediately ordered the soy marinated crab and live uni. There is a combo order of both, but it includes the American marinated crab and an extra small live uni. With their recommendation, we opted for the Korean marinated crab and small uni to share with 2 adults and one kid. When the food came out, they gave us another live uni on the house and I was so happy because I didn't want to share mine! The food was so homey and delicious. The seafood pajeon was so loaded with all the seafood bits and the soy bean soup was the perfect palette cleanser. Service was great and they were so helpful to answer any questions we had. They gave us extra water for our little one and refilled our tea when it was a fourth full. They were so tentative and asked how we liked the food. We loved it. We also enjoyed the banchan!

The marinated crab was very delicious, and spicy crab was even better, but the marinated crab is definitely higher quality, so if you want to get the best of both worlds order both or get the combo. When we finished ordering, appetizers came immediately and basically covered the whole table, and as a Korean restaurant with such warm hospitality I assume you can get more side dishes if you want, but we didn't want to waste any food. All dishes tasted great. The uni wasn't very surprising but it's still good, so if you are doing à la carte you can skip it. All in all a 5+ for the restaurant, also the restroom seems pretty clean so it's another plus for this smallish restaurant.
