Came by for dinner the other night and it was a decent experience. Made a reservation and my table was ready upon arrival. Coro is featured in the Michelin guide. Parking is available in the private lot or on nearby surface streets. Every interaction with the staff was phenomenal. 20% service charge was automatically added to the final bill. Started off with the amuse bouche which was a touch richer than I had expected. Perhaps a more Sputhern influence. The Brussels and leeks small plate looks and sounded great. I found the aioli to be too overpowering and the parmesan cheese made this small plate too rich. The char siu duck looked and sounded fantastic. The duck came out very tender and the flavors were Americanized to say the least. The Japanese rice was more of a style than authentic. The lap cheong sausage was an interesting spin. This was definitely the Western version of it. Ended off the meal with the apple and puff pastry dessert which may have been the highlight of the meal. The brown sugar ice cream was super fresh and fragrant Loved the puff pastry and the caramelized apple too! The last bit was a cornbread of some sort, solidifying my hypothesis that this was a Southern Contemporary restaurant. $100/head after tax and 20% mandatory service charge for dinner.

One of the best restaurant experiences I have had as of late. The restaurant is cozy and located right of off Corrine. The whole team is amazing. I love the "service by committee" approach. Everyone was so kind and I loved their enthusiasm behind their food and restaurant. Shout out to Johnathan! While this is tapas style, we had plenty of food. Each bite was delicious. I love the creativity and how they aren't afraid to try interesting combinations. I can't wait until my next visit and definitely in my top 3 Orlando restaurants.

Wow, wow, WOW! After dining at Coro in Audubon Park multiple times now, I can confidently say that this has to be in my top 3 favorite restaurants in Orlando. My husband & I have loved every single bite we've had here and it has quickly become our go-to for a date night. The menu changes up often based on the freshest, locally sourced produce & ingredients that are available. I've never experienced so many unique, creative dishes throughout one meal, every one of them being a hit and leaving us wanting more. I do like that the plates are small & shareable so that you can try so many different things. The entire menu always sounds phenomenal, so narrowing it down is tough, but I look to the staff to make some excellent recs and they never disappoint. This is the kind of place that makes me wish I had two stomachs just so I could try everything. Shoutout to Dora for always giving us the warmest welcome and fabulous suggestions. The open concept kitchen and their all-hands on deck approach to service and preparing the food & drinks is truly wonderful to witness. You'll experience several different staff members bringing dishes to your table, explaining them in detail, taking your orders, and just providing overall superior service. During our most recent visit, the menu was all new to us and we were excited to dive in. We tried the royal reds shrimp ceviche that was topped with slushy buttermilk ice... just incredible. The aged beef milk toast with foie gras, kelp gnocchi with lobster mushrooms & scallops, and the lamb ribs were also all bangers. One dish that I probably would not have ordered if it were not for Dora's glowing recommendation is the buttermilk biscuit. DO NOT sleep on the biscuit holy wow. It's topped with peaches and chicken skin butter (with actual crispy pieces of chicken skin). I'm not usually a biscuit fan, but this was heavenly! Be sure to save room for dessert, too -- get the coffee & potato dessert at least once, trust me. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. We are forever fans!

I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place for so long! It's hands down one of the best meals I've had in Orlando. The location is super unassuming in a strip mall and it's fairly small but it's an open kitchen and the service was amazing. Everyone we interacted with was super nice and made great recommendations. They expertly paired the food with the wines and every dish had an incredible balance of different flavors. We ordered all the food at once and it came out as it was ready, tapas style. Each dish was very different but they were perfectly sized so we could try many different things. They were very generous with their wine pours and gave us a complimentary soup to start and dessert with champagne to finish. I cannot wait to come back again as it seems their menu changes often and all the food was super fresh and very visually appealing.

Came here for the first time on Valentines Day! My husband and I were so impressed we were still talking about it a few days later about how much we enjoyed the meal. I really enjoyed the menu, which was separated into three categories (raw, warm, sweet). We ordered five dishes and dessert and it was more than enough for us. The restaurant itself was very simple and cozy and instead of just having one server it was actually team service. Overall, the experience kind of reminded me of the restaurants I've been to in London!

This is like a secret gem. It is in a strip mall off of Corrine. It is a locally owned restaurant and the owner is such a nice guy. It is not very big, so you would definitely want to make reservations. The food was wonderful. I went to an event there so it was small plates, but everything was delicious and I loved the presentation of the dishes we had. It is clean and good, but not fancy!

One of the best dinners I have had in such a long time! I am still thinking of the first small bite they offered and the stone crab dish. my fiance and I wanted to enjoy a fancy dinner as we are under 2 months from our wedding and the staff was so attentive, kind and accommodating evening offering us a complimentary glass of bubbles to celebrate. I loved the open kitchen and that each staff member including chefs went around talking to guests.

Chef's amuse bouche -fermented potato naan

Reserved a table for three for a Saturday night. Was easy to make the reservation and found many slots available, less than a week in advance. Parking was easy- strip mall style. Our table was ready on arrival. It's a bit of a loud place, and the music is a bit too loud also, so mg one friend was having trouble hearing the host and the chefs the served us. There are no "servers" per se; they're all chefs. They got our drink order- heads up this is a beer and wine (and sake) place. No spirits, but some fortified wines etc. So we had beer and wine. They gave us a complimentary fermented potato naan dish- wow so good! I love that the menu is seasonal and they had an item on special! We ordered the pink shrimp which was ceviche style cured with mango granita and Uni on top. I don't think they described the shrimp with Uni, which I don't mind, but my friends avoided it. Oh well. Maybe we just could not hear them describe it. We had many dishes off the menu- the steak was delicious! It's about 2-2.5 ounces. The taleggio sauce was so good. That is one of my favorite cheeses. The fruit salad was a real winner! The pistachio gave it such a nice flavor. The clam spaghetti dish was not well thought out for sharing. The clams were under the noodles and the noodles were super long. The aged beef was their version of a tartare- my friends avoided the nori. The sushi rice underneath it was stellar. The tilefish was a hit among all of us. The sourdough bread was as well. Dessert was loved by my friends. I am not really a sweets person, but I had a bite of the love oil cake and the peaches dessert. Both were good. One chef brought me a sample of the orange fortified wine. It was super sweet like a dessert wine. My mom would love that. I declined. I'd rather have a dessert cocktail such as a chocolate martini or brandy alexander, but alas, no spirits. Dishes came out in reasonable time. Our chefs were around to keep our beer and wine glasses full. They even presented us with complimentary bite sized chocolate chip cookies with the tab. Why four stars? At least two fruit flies were bothering us during our entire visit. They said someone left the back door open but to me, it suggests the restaurant is not as clean as it should be. They're probably infesting some sticky place under the counter or some rotten fruit. It's just like those bar taps that never get cleaned/ they breed fruit flies. It's gross and it was annoying. Either way, the food is excellent. The idea and style is unique. The service is stellar. But the ambiance/ noise level/ and the bugs left a lot to be desired. I will be back, especially when the season changes, to see how the wine list and menu evolve with what's fresh and in season. Thank you!

This summer, we finally got to try Coro. It was an incredible experience and absolutely lived up to what everyone has been talking about for years. While the environment was a bit louder than we were expecting. The service and food were absolutely stellar. Coro rivals the likes of Elizabeth in Chicago and other upscale tasting menus that don't entirely revolve around seafood. (One of our biggest struggles is that almost all of the tasting menu offerings in central Florida revolve around seafood, which is nice but not something that you want all the time for the entire meal. There are people who just don't care for seafood at all and would prefer to have a variety of other proteins and vegetables.) The menu offered a few items from the raw menu, the warm menu, and the sweet menu. I also really enjoyed their mocktail, as I don't drink alcohol. It had cucumber and thai basil and was very refreshing! From the wrong menu, we tried the Florida sand pear, with pancetta, gorgonzola, and pecan, and we also tried the baby gem artichoke egg yolk with chicken skin. Both of these were phenomenal starters. Next we had to try the buttermilk biscuit, the crispy potatoes and the pastor chicken that included rock shrimp, fried rice and Yum Yum sauce. Both of these were the highlight of the evening, which is saying a lot because my husband grew up eating southern food. The chicken dish was inspired by Kobe steakhouse and was incredible for dessert. We had the chocolate pate sucree with hazelnut which was really good. I can't wait to bring my family here. They really haven't had a tasting menu experience before and I think Coro would be the perfect way to start them off as they're not huge seafood fans. Thank you so much to Coro and the team for raising the bar and delivering a unique tasting experience that many people will enjoy for years to come.

Absolutely incredible! The menu changes often based on what fresh ingredients are available which is awesome because each time we go back we would want to try new things. It's rare to order a lot of shared plates and enjoy every single one. The flavors were so rich and unique! It's a very intimate space with views right into the kitchen. The chefs themselves bring some of the dishes out and explain them. This spot is a gem!

We visited Coro on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation, and we're glad we did because it got busy! The service at this place was awesome. The kitchen staff serves the whole meal, and they're the best people to do it because they speak so passionately about the food and they know it so well. Walking into this place, I love the simple yet elegant decor and the open kitchen plan. It feels super welcoming, like I could show up in a cocktail dress or a tank top and they'd welcome me either way. We got 6 plates. The first was a citrus and stracciatella salad with castelvetrano olives. I fell in love with this dish, it was so light and refreshing and delicious. The next was a zuke cured hiramasa with a fresh tostada. This dish was flawless. The fish was delicious and flavorful, and the tostada was fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. Next we had a plate of a half dozen oysters; these fell a little flat for me. I felt the sauce that came in the oyster overpowered the oysters a little for my taste. It came with cherry tomatoes with fresh horseradish on top. Next, we got the spring onion fries. These were definitely the highlight of the night. They're unforgettable with the light crispy battering and delicious trout roe ranch. Absolute perfection. We also had the Florida fish which was really good. Last, we had the lamb, which was a little underwhelming after everything else. It would've been better if it came with more bearnais. For dessert, we got the strawberry-rhubarb, creme fraiche, and pistachio which was really nice! The meal ended with some free cookies. I will absolutely be back at Coro. I love that they have a rotating menu that takes advantage of the seasonal produce. My one comment is that I think it's a little overpriced. Locally sourced ingredients are expensive, and the 20% service charge is probably how they manage to let the chefs have so much freedom to serve the tables and talk to people, but I still felt like overall it was a little pricey.

It's been almost 2 months since I was at Coro and I cannot stop thinking about how fantastic it is. I don't know how often the menu changes, so what I had may not be available now. I'm going to sound like a pig, but I was with a friend and we wanted to try the most items possible. We ordered 7 items plus a dessert. The problem with waiting 2 months to write this review is I can't remember all of the dishes. Our server/chef was incredible. She was able to describe items we had questions about in a way that instantly made us order everything we asked about. She wasn't intrusive and didn't overly check on us; she was literally perfect. The restaurant itself is great, too; it looks nice and inviting and it was full but not loud. The kitchen is towards the front and it didn't seem noisy or chaotic like I imagine a restaurant kitchen. The food was absolutely delightful as well as incredibly delicious. One item I ordered on a whim, the spring onion fries, was surprisingly flavorful and we couldn't believe that it held its own against oysters, mussel toast, aged coulotte, and the Florida fish. (Really wish I could remember our other items right now.) Dessert was the dish with peaches; I could have probably had another one without sharing (and considered it). I truly loved everything about my Coro experience and highly recommend you try it.

Guys, when i tell you that you will not find a place like this, i mean it. You can really tell how much the chefs here put out through the creations that they create. Honestly, from the first time you walk in to when you leave. Each dish is made fresh every day. The menu continues to change DAILY and the quality consistently stays the same. You can taste their hearts and souls as they bless you with each meal. Let me tell you, i HATED lamb. Ive tried it a million times and yet the only place that surprises me was this place. They really know how to choose the finest and best quality meats here and was able to cook it to perfection so that you can barely taste the gamey-ness. I also loved their first and last bite concepts. You can taste the sweetness and ripeness of the avocado and pure honey from the honeycomb. My absolute favorite were the Canadian oysters. I am a sucker for them and when i tell you they know whats up, trust me! They paired it so so well with the shoyu datil green sauce.I AM OBSESSED!

I would not consider it high-end dining, there were two of us for lunch. We shared a tappa which consisted of three meatballs. We both ordered a larger plate of Solomillo, one steak and one pork. We ordered espresso martinis, which were not on the menu like many of the other cocktails you could order. The surprise came with the bill. We both had two martinis they were $21 apiece so the four martinis came to $84. I was shocked because the most I've ever spent for a martini in Orlando area and a very high-end restaurant was $18. I guess we should've ordered the sangria with red wine and Brandy for $12.

You can tell a lot of care goes into both the food and drinks here. We wrapped up the night with the dulce de leche cheesecake and mascarpone ice cream, and honestly, it was to die for. Now, diving in, I've only had food from Red Panda Noodle - which I initially discovered during Tasty Tuesdays in the Milk District. My first time having them, I fell immediately in love with their beef noodle option: Beef & Broccoli. It is flavorful and filling! The price points are standard (roughly $17.00 for the Beef & Broccoli). All other dishes are reasonably priced. As for A La Cart City as a place, it's centrally located off Orange Ave. There is PAID parking all around - sadly, unless you use the DTO promo code for a free two hours of parking, you will have to pay to park just about anywhere in Downtown Orlando. Parking is ample, but it can get pricey depending on when / where you park. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. It is service animal-friendly. They have a large screen for viewing sports or displaying any video (if you reserve the space for an event). The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. They have a decent (not super large, but decent nonetheless) beer and wine selection. Price points are comparable to the other A La Cart locations. The overall location is great in the sense that it's a great spot to start a "bar-hop" vibe and make your way down into the thick of DTO. All in all, I am a fan of all three A La Cart lcoations. Also, did I mention, it is a great little spot for events! So, definitely visit them if you have not already.
