Excellent food prepared from great ingredients. Not cheap, so an indulgence for me, but I'm never disappointed.

Onigiri is really good! Crispy chicken was a little burnt but the flavors of everything were amazing!

What a WONDERFUL little throw-back of a diner! The servers are absolutely charming (thank you to…read morethe beautiful, jewelry-making Christina), pricing is circa 1995, there's a great children's menu -- and there is clearly some skill in this kitchen, generally. I love that you get unlimited refills on coffee ($2), which was actually quite decent by diner standards. Where else can you find that nowadays?! Eggs were well prepared and fluffy across the board. I loved that my veggie omelet ($8.75) came generously filled with sauteed mushrooms, sweet peppers, and onions. It came with toast and a side of either fruit or home fries. The multigrain, which our server disclosed was from a bakery in NY, was fresh, well slathered with butter, and far better than it had to be as a non-headline component of the meal. Home fries were beautifully seasoned, though I do prefer mine a little more browned. Fruit salad on our visit included a slice of melon, a few grapes and a slice of orange. Our eight year old got a children's meal with one egg, home fries, toast and juice ($4.50). She enjoyed her fluffy scrambled eggs, which she ate sandwiched between two halves of a generously buttered English muffin. My only nitpick: You could taste a touch of margarine in the eggs, which I personally detest. Still, the food was head and shoulders better than (and half as expensive as) anything you can find at Mohawk Mountain, where we are usually resigned to grub. We are so, so thrilled to find this sweet little place a hop and a skip away from the mountain. It's a perfect place to refuel after early morning ski practice!

My wife ordered an egg sandwich with a side of potatoes, I had a sausage & cheese omelette. Eggs were "fluffy". The breakfast sandwich was unusual in that it was like an omelette on a Portuguese roll. The potatoes could've been cooked a bit longer. Overall, a fairly average breakfast at a reasonable price.

I go hiking and then check out reviews of local bakeries. It's what I do…read more I love morning glory muffins and have had them at quite a few places. Everyone seems to use pretty much the same recipe with some slight variations. The muffins I had here were weird. I don't know what that dominant spice they used is but it was really kind of awful. Weird is just the only word I can think of to describe it. And the muffin was not dense at all. It kind of fell apart when you bit into it. I took a "sour cherry" pastry home snd it was ok. The apricot scone was bleh. I think this place will be a skip in the future.

It was extremely busy on a Saturday morning in October, but…read morefortunately the line to order at the counter moved quickly, and there was enough turnover that we were able to get seats without waiting too long. However, they were out of a lot of bakery items by noon, so I'd recommend getting there early on the weekends. I went for the Smoked salmon bagel, and I kid you not, it was a religious experience. By far, the best jalapeño cheddar bagel I've ever had. I don't know how they made it but angels most definitely had to be involved. Order it with the scallion cream cheese and pay the extra $0.50 for the capers, it's worth it. I don't live in the area, so I will pray to the food gods to present me with an opportunity to return & eat that sandwich again.

We arrived and sat outside on the terrace. The road nearby was not too loud and the terrace was great shade on a warm day. We ordered gazpacho, ratatouille, onion soup, and clams linguini. Importantly, I almost NEVER order clams at restaurants. My family and I dig and eat at least a thousand clams a year in Rhode Island and I always assume and expect that no place can prepare them as well or as freshly. When the dish arrived I saw three cherrystones on top and figured this would be a small plate for a big price. I was completely wrong. The dish was better than anything I've made or had out. Full of tender chopped clams, the flavor and sauce were superb and the bread was excellent. We finished the meal with the pastry desert (cream puff with ice cream and chocolate sauce) and a merengue floating on a vanilla sauce. Both were wonderful. The service was great- Emelina (?) was very attentive and gave us spot on advice (and some basic French lessons) with a smile. The owner, Rober, also stopped by to make sure our experience was good. I would recommend strongly to anyone in the area who appreciates fine dining without too much fuss or to anyone wondering what French food is really like.
