I had previously had some work done through insurance at another shop and wanted to add fixing the rust spot, but that shop refused the work and said they didn't want to deal with rust. When I first contacted Raley's, they said that they were booked six months out. But then he asked a few more questions and determined that the work I needed done would be a quick job for him to complete. We set a time for an estimate which was in the evening so I did not have to take time off from work. This is a small business and is located at the owner's property between Sumner and Orting. I was happy to give my business to a locally owned small business. The wife and husband operate the business together. Heather was very good at communicating with me and scheduling was flexible. They allowed me to drop my truck off in the evening on a Sunday so again, I did not have to take time off from work. I really appreciate that flexibility. The estimate was very good and he was also able to install a bumper that my husband bought and wasn't able to install. I was extremely happy with the price and the quality of work. The entire process was stress free and I was so happy to get this problem taken care of. I highly recommend Raley's for quality of work, the price, the communication, the flexibility and the fact that supporting their business is supporting a local family business. I will definitely use this shop in the future if I need auto body work done.

They initially…read moretold me my car would be ready in two weeks (by the 9th), but instead, they called me 10 days early (on the 31st, a Friday) and demanded that I pick up my car immediately and return the rental for insurance purposes. I was in Seattle at the time and told them it was impossible with such short notice. When I arrived on Monday to pick up my car, they presented it to me for a quality inspection, but it was covered in rainwater. I immediately noticed a 9-12 inch scratch that was completely unrelated to the repair. The estimator kept insisting it was preexisting when it clearly was not. After running inside to check previous damage photos, she returned with the owner and finally admitted fault. Instead of properly fixing it, they tried to tell me they would just buff it out with wax. I made it clear that waxing wasn't a proper fix and that it needed to be repainted. They refused and became aggressive, yelling and arguing with me. While I was documenting the damage, they even put their phone in my face and started snapping photos of me--completely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. I've never experienced service this terrible at any auto shop. Avoid this place at all costs.

They made everything super duper easy. They got me in very quickly, helped me arrange my rental car to pick me up from the shop, kept me updated daily with text updates as well as when my car progressed into the next stage of repair, and when my car was finished and I went to pick it up, they got me in and out very quickly AND handled getting my rental car returned for me. They were extremely friendly and efficient and helped make a situation that I was completely dreading turn into a very positive experience. What's even better is that they finished my car a week ahead of schedule and even cleaned it inside and out for me! I would highly, highly recommend CARSTAR if you ever need to have your vehicle worked on.

The bumper had some scrapes and rock chips but the chipping in those areas was due to poor paint adhesion clearly. The chipping went well beyond the slightly damaged areas. I explained I was not looking for them to take care of replacement but was looking for solutions since I had a lifetime warranty on the work performed 6 years ago. I had been using this shop for many years under Mark Denny's ownership and took it there due to that. They had always done good work. Because they are now new owners and there was obvious impact areas they declined any responsibility or suggestions of solutions. Not any offers to do any repair at any cost. The initial visit was somewhat contentious because I only had the warranty paperwork. They said they needed the original work order but I didn't have it because all was paid by the insurance company of the person that caused the damage. I did have the original warranty with all the work order and claim numbers. There was no attempt to help and I felt the customer service was very poor. I even asked if I brought a new part to them would they paint it. They denied and deferred to the warranty exclusions and reminded me they did not do the work. Too bad I was treated this way. It was a great business under the previous ownership. By the way, the original work order was for over $18,000. A couple hundred dollar paint job on a new part would have made me happy.

Kevin, the owner of PDR Services, transformed my car, giving it a beautiful, mirror-like shine. It honestly looks brand new, & I still am amazed when I look at it, & think about how it looked before. I'm so grateful & impressed by his amazing work & attention to detail. My car had numerous, visible scratches all over it, the hood was the most damaged from neighborhood cats & likely, raccoons, making their home on it (I don't have an indoor garage, and never used a car cover); Kevin clearly & honestly explained what he'd been able to do with respect to getting the scratches out, & he didn't disappoint when I saw the end result). He always kept me informed from start to finish, about when he would be at my home to begin the work, how long it'd take him to finish, & texting me if & when he'd be delayed by traffic - he's a consummate professional who knows his stuff, & is very easy to talk to & work with. His fees were reasonable & it was super convenient having him come to me to do the work. If you're looking for someone to transform your car & give it some badly needed loving care, don't think twice about whom to call. I highly recommend hiring Kevin for this type of work for your car - you can count on Kevin to give exceptional results!

The paper was what you'd expect to fill out. There was tho one page that I didn't feel comfortable signing. It's for diagnostics testing. Now, I understand the need for this testing for vehicles that have been involved in an accident as there are tons of sensors and such on new cars. But mine was merely a scratch and a dent from a ball or something. I stated it seemed like a good way for them to just make money. I checked the box "no" stating I dont want to pay for diagnostics if insurance doesn't pay for it." About that time, the office gal Hannah just looked irritated and then told me my estimator was outside. The estimator was nice enough. I asked about why I needed diagnostics on something like this, and he wasn't quite sure. I gave him my keys and waited for my Lift ride About 10 mins later, my ride arrives, and as I'm about to open the door, I hear the estimator yelling "sir" and is literally running towards me. He says, " You need to sign this page!" I then see the staff watching this from the window. My Lift driver looked confused, so I only asked once again why I needed it. He said it's so when they disconnect my battery. Still didn't answer my question. I signed it and got out of there. The next day, I decided to call and try and speak to a manager. I was told Hannah was available. Nicely asked if there was anyone above her. I was then transferred to Logan the estimator. I asked again for a manager and was put on hold and then disconnected. About 30 minutes later I was contacted by a lady whom I'm assuming was a manager and was told, it seems we aren't going to be a good match for you and you need to pick your vehicle up. I was told I wasn't willing to participate in following their process. I simply wanted a solid reason as to why a simple ding and scratch required a $120 per panel scan that if my insurance didn't cover I was on the hook for. The whole running out as I was getting in a Lyft was bad optics, and I feel like my experience was quite unprofessional. Car is going to a highly rated shop that gladly took my business and without signing a waiver for "diagnostic scans"
