I wanted to get an electric anode rod replaced in my water heater since they are supposed to be replaced every 3-5 years but the electric rods last up to 20 years. I didn't want to take off time from work and they booked me for an evening appointment between 6-7 pm on a Friday. The tech showed up right on time and got to work. The procedure is relatively simple but if you run into a snag getting the rod out then it can be time consuming so I didn't want to mess with it. Less than an hour later he was done the cost was $250 which is inline with the range I was seeing online for what people paid with other places. I saw a wasps nest on my front porch as I was paying the invoice with the tech and he went to his truck and got some wasps killer for me to use.

Other hvac technicians will tell you to just replace the system without checking anything. Quality of service: Well, this technician gave me options to get me going. In fact, he gave me 3 options and it was MY decision on what we should do. When I made the decision to replace the fully hvac (not from any pressure from the technician), he was able to fix it so that I had heat until they came back to replace it. They saved me time and money, which is value to me! Value delivered: Other hvac companies are rude and have sneaky sales tactics. Not Rocky hvac. Prior to installation, representative Robert Winston explicitly agreed 100% in writing via email to include a 10-Year Extended Labor Warranty. This warranty was the sole reason I chose them and awarded them the contract. However, after the installation was complete, they issued a final invoice breaching our agreement by listing only a standard 2-year warranty.To make matters worse, the installation crew left an unsealed open hole/gap in the new gas furnace, creating a safety hazard. When I reached out to demand the corrected paperwork and a safety check, Robert Winston completely blocked my phone number to avoid accountability and cut off communication!I have officially frozen the entire payment by filing a formal billing dispute with Synchrony Bank, and I have filed an official complaint with the Maryland Attorney General with a case already opened. Do not trust their written promises or their reputation.
