This one hurts to write because I usually love the sandwiches here. The market is small but cute,…read morethey have fresh produce, tons of premade salads pastas and soups. A great cooler with local organic ice cream, and tons of organic sweet treats on your way to cash out.but my favorite is their full deli with plenty of options. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. This day I got the block island on a wrap and when I opened it i had never seen a sandwich wrap look like this. The center was all wrap. When i removed all the wrap in the center it was a very flat thin piece of meat. Maybe this just wasn't their day but i was disappointed when i got back home and opened it up. I won't let this stop me from going there again but if it happens again I won't order a deli sandwich again. I give this place five stars but on this particular day just 4. Side note my mom also got a sandwich a turkey on white and it was so soggy she said it wasnt edible. We only traveled about 15 minutes with them back home.

Shopped here and there's one item I couldn't stop buying. The SEAFOOD POT PIE. When visiting there for the day last September then back to CT. and NYC, bought one for dinner that night at a cousins house in CT. Now I just told a good friend there and he bought one for his first time last night. He's hooked!!! Loves it. It'll be a staple item for he and his wife. He sent me the picture. Slowly opened it and that was it. Raved about it. So you'll have a great steady customer there. Hopefully we'll visit friends there in September. Just wanted you to know.

We stopped in with a party of 8 (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 infant) for a pre-Mystic Aquarium breakfast on…read morea Saturday morning. The waited for quite a bit for a table, but that's expected for a party of our size and when we can't make reservations - but didn't mind given our experience. It was the first nice day we've had in a while so that helped with waiting outside too. The parking lot was a bit tight but workable. The interior makes you feel like you're at the intersection of a friend's home and a classic diner. The fireplace kept us toasty and decorations added to the ambience of the restaurant. Our waitress, (and all of the staff that stopped over to say hello) were welcoming and very sweet. They were attentive and patient especially with the kids. The food was excellent - well above what you'd expect for breakfast fare. The kids enjoyed eggs/toast/bacon, pancakes and chicken fingers (which the adults sampled all and were great!). The rest of us had bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, porchetta and egg sandwich, and side of corned beef hash. We're still talking about how good everything was a few days later. The coffee was great - hot and fresh. Portions were generous and the quality was superb. Even something as simple and common as the breakfast burrito was on another level here. I had the porchetta and egg sandwich and the corned beef hash. If you're thinking of something different than the typical breakfast sandwich - definitely go for this. The pork and cheese added a familiar but new spin on a classic egg sandwich and the green goose hot sauce added the perfect amount of heat. The corned beef hash had a perfect consistency and was clearly fresh made. What's more impressive is that they recently reopened after a fire - we would've never known. Highly recommend stopping here if you can - we'll definitely be back!

We opted for omelets and they did not disappoint. The hostess and server were lovely. So many food options on the menu as well as items for take-out. Be sure to pop in; ignore the lines, it's worth the wait!
