Great menu, awesome service, and delicious food at very reasonable prices! So glad I finally made it, if you are within 30+ minutes of Westerly Walmart you will be thankful you stopped in. Superb bakery offerings too!!

THIS PLACE IS ALWAYS TOP TEIR! The food is so so good, my favorite is the eggs Benedict, the service is one of the best i have ever seen. Waitresses were incredibly nice, we didn't even have to ask for the check, we got seated immediately and got our food in less than 15-20 minutes. A nice beach themed place. 110% recommend!

First thing first...they had almond milk for my coffee. If you've read any of my previous reviews that is one of my biggest pet peeves with breakfast places. Sunny Side Up gets an A+ for that! The service was fast and the waitress friendly and the place was packed on a Sunday morning. Hubby ordered the pig pile which sounds terrible (haha) but it was delicious. So much food that it kept him nice and full a long time! Imagine scrambled eggs with all the fixings mixed in like bacon, sausage and home fries. He really enjoyed it. I ordered the sampler and it was good. I liked that I got my usual eggs and home fries and one pancake...just enough for a little something sweet. I need to comment on the home fries - delicious. This is how everyone should make them. We really enjoyed our time here.

Went here for breakfast with a bunch of my girlfriends. The place is very small but clean. We had semi good service. The waitress got all our foods out promptly and correct. The only complaint I have was the wait staff wasn't very attentive. I had to call the waitress every time we needed something. We even had to flag her for a young lady a table behind us. We had to ask to get extra water and asked for more coffee. The food was good but nothing to rave about. I would come again because it's seems reliable to have good food again. I had a veggie omelet with side of veggies and ham. Perfect for those who are on a keto paleo diet.

Quaint local breakfast spot. Very nice decor. The service was so fast. Great coffee. The "pig pile" dish requires a hearty appetite. The spinach and feta cheese omelette is huge. Everything was very good. Come hungry or come ready to share. Will return for sure. Thanks to all employees. Great "first time" experience. See you soon!

Good quick service with better food. Get there early on a Saturday because it gets packed quick. Limited seating. Didn't try the ice cream. Will rate that another time

California Benedict, delicious! Even the home fires were good... hollandaise sauce wasn't tangy, which was a good thing. $9.99, easy parking and great service! Definitely a repeater..

    Raw pancakes...yum.

I was talked into trying Sunny Side up by my 8 year old. That and they are the only place open after noon in westerly that I know of, that serves breakfast. Upon entering it's a cute place with adorable and yummy looking baked goods. It looks just like a breakfast place should, lots of tables and chairs. It was clean and presentable with nice beach-y decor. The problem was the food. I ordered a short stack of pancakes for my 7 year old, the short stack was huge and completely raw in the middle. I alerted the waitress and she offered to send them back but we opted to just eat around the edges that were cooked. We were pressed for time and the pancakes were large enough to give him plenty of food by just the cooked edges. She did take them off of the bill which I did not ask for, which was nice. The french toast my other son had was fine. I ordered the eggs (over easy) with homefries and toast. The homefries were flavorless and overcooked. I asked for the bacon well done, it was soggy. The eggs were very well done on one side and not cooked on the other, I asked for over easy not sunny side down. My husband had an omelet that was flavorless. Also, they had fake coffee creamer, it was international delight non-dairy creamer on the table rather than real cream. I prefer real cream in my coffee. Thank you. Overall, the food was just blah, no flavor and over priced.

Pancakes were okay and with sides of bacon the bill really added up. Not worth $50 for breakfast for 3

Wait staff was great but food was just ok and rather pricey. Maybe they had an off day but this used to a stellar place for breakfast.

Excellent breakfast place, and very affordable. A breakfast sandwich is only $5! Hash browns are delicious.

There is a sandwich board in the parking lot next to the employee entrance with the days sandwich options. The shop is small with seating for about ten people. Most of the traffic during our visit was take away. Order counter is on the left with the menu board overhead and available bagels in bins. Place your order and pay, then pick up at the next counter. No paper receipts, but you can have one emailed. For coffee orders, staff will add the milk of your choice, or you can add cream and sweetener at a table to the right of the pick up area. This table also has drink lids, napkins and stir sticks. Online orders are left on shelves by the door for quick and easy pick up. Staff here are very friendly. The bagel selection is creative. I had a jalapeno and havarti cheese bagel with cream cheese. The flavor of the bagel was just right. The cream cheese is very smooth and there was plenty on there. The bagels are a respectable size. Any bigger would be too big imho. The texture is dense with a pleasant chew. I couldn't tell the bagels were sour dough, maybe because of the jalapeno. My SO got themselves a Hot Boi on a prosciutto bagel. To say it was very much enjoyed is probably a bit of an understatement. It was pretty much inhaled and then expounded on in detail. So yes, it was a hit. We both had a Dave's drip coffee which is very smooth. They offer a variety of coffee drinks and seasonal specials are listed on the menu. They all sound amazing. Do recommend this spot.

I'm going to do two reviews for Flour Shop. One is on the Event Page and is limited to what I tried at the Yelp Check In Event. This one focuses on the half dozen bagels and cream cheese I purchased. Flour Shop is a small independent bagel shop, with some limited seating. They also have a robust takeout business. I arrived at Opening at 8 am. The shop was instantly thriving. The Flour Shop Team was friendly, helpful and efficient. I ordered a half dozen bagels to bring home. I asked if they had Veggie Cream Cheese, which is my go to. They didn't have any made, but they offered to make Veggie CC on the Spot. And you know what? It was Top 10 Percentile for all Bagel Shops. Full of chunks of veggies. Great texture and great color. Flour Shop boils and bakes their Bagels. I tried the Prosciutto Special Bagel and a Spicy Egg Everything. They were good chewy. Fresh. The Prosciutto was crispy, which was the way to do it for a bagel. The seasoning for the Spicy Egg Everything was nuanced and tasty. The Bagels look a bit rustic in a good way. The Flour Shop executed the classics well. Great coverage on the Sesame and Everything Bagels. If you live in the greater Stonington area, visiting The Flour Shop is an easy decision. It's also worth driving from away to start an area day trip. 5 Stars

We had a lovely dinner here three years ago, What a shocking disappointment on our return trip…read moretonight. The restaurant and the entire property are beautiful. And our waiter Iggy was a delightful and attentive server. My wife's sea bass was delicious. And I have little else to say that's positive. I had the toro appetizer. It was tough, chewy, and drowned in so much marinade you couldn't taste anything else. I honestly didn't know toro could even be chewy. Sent back the first order thinking it was cut wrong. Second was just as bad. And they didn't take it off the check. Lobster pappardelle was nearly flavorless -- void of seasoning -- and I needed a magnifying glass to find the lobster in this dish. There were numerous service mistakes that I won't detail here. Suffice to say it feels like nobody is managing the dining experience. I've had better service in most diners than we had here. With so many great restaurants in the area, you'd be better off driving by, taking some pictures, and going almost anywhere else. (Try Ella's. It's a gem.) Believe the one-star reviews posted here. I'd do the same if not for our excellent server and my wife's entree. But we left wishing we'd just ordered a pizza.
