Large restaurant and it was a short wait to get a seat on a Sunday morning. Staff was friendly and our breakfast came out fairly quickly. Coffee was OK. The breakfast was AMAZING. I got the cinnamon & vanilla French toast. It had a great flavor and it was a great serving size. The bacon was crispy and delicious My friends both got the corned beaf hash and eggs and loved it. Ok so that was the Avocado Benedict. 10/10 I had to order more toast to wipe up the plate. The kids got the pancakes and I stole some of those too. The wife had the signature breakfast and the rest of us were like seagulls hovering over it waiting for her to be done. Austin was our waitress and yes she is from Texas. She provided exceptional service to all her tables during the morning rush we didn't want for anything. The atmosphere was a lively Irish ascetic which felt like home for us being from Boston. Even though it's located in a strip mall it felt just like an old school restaurant. Probably the best Benny I've ever had I almost ordered another but the 2 hour drive back to boston made put safety first. We will be back next year. read more

I took my parents for their first visit here since they remodeled it. Ryan was our waiter. I literally have him as my server each and every time. He's great. I'd be happy to have him serve us from now on each visit forward !! Mom and I had one of today's specials. It was an Asiago hash. Came with 2 crispy hash brown patties topped with 2 Sunny side eggs and loads of thinly sliced ham. Also comes with a choice of toast. Delicious! My petite elderly mom finished the whole plate. Stopped here today with my wife for lunch we've been wanting to try it for a bit and hadn't. Nice space bigger than we expected very clean. Server was there as we sat down asked for a drink order. My wife ordered a Rueben and I a bacon blue cheddar burger, interesting never asked how I wanted burger cooked. Food came quickly initially looked good only leading to disappointment. The Reuben had little to no cheese or kraut on it and when asked my wife's response was ahhhh not great. My burger was obviously a precooked patty reheated with no taste dry and such a disappointing experience. Added some mayo and ketchup which didn't help. No returning from the server to see if we were good, no refills to our empty drinks only an are you ready for a check. Wanted to love the place and in hindsight probably a breakfast stop v lunch maybe take the deli out of the name as it is clearly no a deli but a cafe. read more

A fantastic, big space with amazing breakfast! The Irish-themed locale stretches over three spaces in a mini-mall for good reason. The food is amazing! The eggs are always fresh and cooked properly, the homefries are perfectly crisp, and the meat choices are superb. Whether it's traditional bacon or Irish 'bangers' (sausages with a more mellow flavor rather than the traditional American breakfast sausage maple and fennel profile) you will have an amazing accompaniment to your eggs. My wife and I have been searching for a diner that offers breakfast and lunch throughout New London County and the Westerly, Rhode Island area. In New London County, we found two locations (Irene's Family Restaurant and Ocean Pizza Restaurant and Seafood House) with a delicious lunch and dinner menu selection but no breakfast. However, Herb's Country Deli & Restaurant was the only diner with a delicious breakfast and lunch menu selection that my wife and I have found. We are delighted to review a new location in Westerly, Rhode Island, called Kelley's Deli, which offers a delicious breakfast and lunch menu. During our visit, we noticed the diner was clean, plenty of comfortable seating, and the wait staff was enjoyable. We were there for breakfast for our first visit, and the only way to describe the meal was that it was delicious. I did not provide any pictures so the readers of this review could go directly to the diner's website and establish their own opinions based on the menu descriptions and pictures. Without a doubt, by the time you reach the end of the menu, you will most likely be drooling and only choose to visit Kelley's Deli to experience the delicious food they serve. I always have to get Kelly's for breakfast when I'm in town visiting my friends. I live in VA (from CT) and there are no Irish restaurants or good mom and pop places to eat and Kelly's is my favorite! It's the only fresh corned beef I get to eat all year that isn't in a can. read more

I had been looking forward to trying this place since there are wonderful reviews and it's been voted "best breakfast." I wonder what we missed the day we went. My husband ordered a veggie omelet as he always does and said it was pretty tasteless and overwhelmed with spinach (which he likes!). He was disappointed that the hash browns were from a frozen bag, not a trace of flavor on them and no skill required in its prep. I had a ciabatta breakfast sandwich and the grilled ciabatta was crispy as promised but there very five teeny slivers of avocado, the width of a postage stamp and two see-through thin slices of tomato. It was a sorry breakfast sandwich. My daughter said her breakfast sandwich was good. She paid extra for avocado and the slices were bigger! Our waitress did her job but a robot would have been just the same. Well, we tried. Too many other breakfast spots that are better, so we won't be returning! read more

We love going out for breakfast, and decided to try Kelly's Deli. Waitress wasn't very friendly and barely spent half a second to see if we wanted anything. Never asked what kind of cheese we wanted in our omelets, so we ended up with orange American cheese. I had to flag her down for more coffee and hot sauce because she didn't come back around. The so called hash browns are frozen out of a bag and deep fried. Our omelets had no taste! Needless to say with so many wonderful breakfast spots, we won't be going back. read more

Here today while visiting. We moved to Naples, Fl two years ago but this was on my list of faves to visit where here for 6 days. Had breakfast and saw all the new changes, extra large room. No more waiting to be seated now. Great! The front desk as you enter. All good. Ryan, our server was great!! I ordered the Baton Rouge special and it was great; as are all the daily combinations of food. Our waitress, Kendra, was so great and had a hunch that I couldn't eat the meat and informed me before placing the order. We ordered a Vanilla Cinnamon French Toast. My family has been here many times since we moved to town in 2018 and we never once had a bad experience, never a bad meal. The staff and service are very efficient and friendly. I ordered for delivery, paid online (delivery fee in addition to 20% tip) for the delivery person to knock on my door (was supposed to be contact less) to tell me that I owed a dollar and change more because I got egg whites vs regular eggs. I don't have an issue with paying more for something different. The issue that I have is, the sale was complete. I did NOT receive a call from the restaurant. Fortunately I had a couple dollars laying around (paid with a card) and was able to eat breakfast with my family. It truly boggled my mind that I was notified from the delivery person and not the restaurant, and that their error (online price) was not rectified by them. So if I didn't have the $1.67 or what ever it was, would they have driven my 30$ worth of breakfast back. I simply feel that they could've handled this WAY better. read more

The best breakfast and lunch in the entire area is here. I am always drawn to their specials. They are always surprising. This weekend I had a breakfast that was a combination of eggs Benedict and biscuits and gravy. It was delicious Along with good food, they have a great staff. Let me say that as a resident of Westerly and someone who visits this restaurant 3-4xs a month I am very pleased with the food and the service. There are plenty of places in Westerly that I feel the opposite about and do not visit ever so this isn't a "local man is biased" review. First - Anyone writing a review about the limited items and/or slow service and are doing so this past 18 months should be ashamed of themselves. You know damn well that some food items are in short supply AND staffing is a major issue. Your expectations and reviews reveal what a true "Karen's" really look at sound like. Stay home and don't eat out if you think that the service should be EXACTLY as it was prior to COVID. Reading some of these reviews regarding that is pathetic. The food is excellent, the specials for breakfast in particular are amazing, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. As I said, not all restaurants in town are like this and I stay away from those and there are more than a few. This is not one of those places. If you're visiting from out of town and what consistently good food, in particular for breakfast, and a friendly staff, albeit a little short in that area right now, then by all means visit this place. If you are thinking we are in Pre-Pandemic times, don't go. Stay away. Stay home and order from Uber Eats. You'll be happier. read more

My husband and I came down from Connecticut this past weekend to eat at your deli.We read the ratings and it sounded so good.What a disappoint all the food was. Not anything was fresh made.The home fries were pre-frozen and tasteless..The scrambled eggs were definitely reconstituted. I had 2 "potato" cakes which was just instant potato fried up.My husbands omelet was made with the fake eggs and only deli meats chopped up. The only good things were the service and the coffee.
