I realize it is tourist season, (July 3rd) and people are stressed, but when I asked a simple question about why my iced tea was $4.25 instead of the $3.50 it says on the menu, the manager came out and said that their lawyer gave them permission to change prices at any time! Then she just turned and walked away. Really?! Lawyer?! It was only a .75 cent difference and I just wanted to know why. Did they give me the wrong drink? It would have been a simple answer. I am a local, and have never had any problems before, but now.... I don't think my friends and I will be back, even come fall. read more

Passed by the New Starbucks and it made me immediately want to give my money to a mom and pop shop. I have never tried out Fresh Cup before. I just live in a different part of Westerly and any way I'm more of a loose leaf tea girl. I do like a fancy cup of joe though. This place has tons of options. I got the espresso con panna (espresso -tiny cup- with freshly whipped cream). Hubby got his basic black iced coffee. I loved my coffee. It was the perfect shot of energy I needed And it wasn't bitter or acidic at all. I also liked that the barista warned me that it's a tiny cup. I remember how sad I was the first time I ever ordered a real espresso. There were soooo many things that I wanted to try here. They had canned tea or coffee drinks with chaga, over night oats, various cookies, scones, biscotti and more. I bumped into two people here and there were a bunch of people chatting with friends or catching up on remote work. They have a book/magazine rack, free WiFi, and a cute shelf with items for sale like baby onesies, and mugs. I will definitely stop in more often. read more

My husband and I popped in after a weekend at Foxwoods. We both got flavored cappuccinos... outstanding!! So good!!! They have a sugar free chocolate flavor which is hard to find and tastes amazing. My husband got the Super Bowl Special breakfast sandwich that had egg and pulled pork. He got it as a wrap and said it was one of the best wraps he has ever had. A bold statement for foodies like us. So happy we stopped in!!!! read more

So glad someone tipped me off about this excellent cafe! So clean, so welcome, very comfortable. I got a raspberry mocha oat milk latte-not too sweet, perfect raspberry mocha balance. Food is tasty but unbelievably rude disinterested staff who just couldn't be bothered and were eating/chewing while helping me. Additionally, ordered food to go. Menu stated sandwich came with chips and pickle . When given food, no chips or pickle. I asked and was told to go orders don't get that. So $11 for just a sandwich. Menu didn't state to to go orders didn't include that and server was chewing food and rude when she told me this and then walked away. There are far more accommodating better places in westerly to give my business. read more

Super nice spot. The service is great from a friendly staff and the interior is so nice. Seating is great and spacious. The cold brew I've had from here is always nice. I'm a fan of the salted caramel flavor they have right now. The paninis are really good and have yet to disappoint. The bagel chips are also really good and come as a side with the paninis. Parking is also really easy which is a win. Considering other places around do not have easy access parking right out front. read more

The coffee was delish last week and the quiche and cookies were very good. But this time I got bacon egg and cheese? The eggs are gray which was a frightening sight to see after biting into it. The cappuccino was so dark and bitter I couldn't even drink it. read more

I used to come here regularly last fall. I recently stopped in for the first time in months and noticed the quality has slipped a bit. The coffee was superb as always, but I ordered a waffle, and it was cold on the inside (it must have been previously frozen or refrigerated and they hadn't warmed it enough). I also ordered a donut and it tasted stale and dry. I was very disappointed because I've had both treats at Fresh Cup before, and it was never like this. I do plan to return because I am hoping this experience was just a one-off. read more

Fresh cup servers up more than fresh cups of coffee. With a full espresso bar, sandwiches, bagels, HF options and specialty drinks, it will take you quite some time to work through their vast menus. I had my first GF doughnut there, and was presently surprised. The coffee nook sitting area is inviting, and perfect for enjoying a cup of joe or working on your laptop. Staff are friendly, only complaint is that they can be a bit slow, but let's chalk that up for being overly precise when making your drink just to your liking. They have kombucha and oat milk ... just thought I'd mention that because a lot of people ask for that at coffee shops now-a-days. Keep in mind, I am a tough reviewer. Great dark roast coffee! Although there was a lot of Luzzi in it. Same with the soupy & egg sandwich, it tasted really great though I would have preferred less Luzzi. Maybe next time I go in I'll ask for Luzzi on the side. read more

I can't get enough!!!!! Finally a cute and cozy little cafe with delicious coffee. I am a huge Starbucks fan and the pickiest coffee drinker ever!!! I had yet to find a place in Westerly that compares to Starbucks until trying fresh cup. I am so happy I no longer have to drive 15 minutes for a coffee. One of the many reasons I love fresh cup is because all of the syrups are made from scratch right at the cafe. I have tried the cinnamon and brown sugar syrup as well as the pumpkin. The flavors are to die for and you are NOT left with a fake/ artificial sweetener taste (that's the worst). Take is from someone who is a very picky coffee drinker and give this place a try!! read more
