Stopped by for breakfast on a late Sunday morning. They offer self-serve coffee, which was nice as well as bloody Mary's and other drinks. For breakfast, we ordered the Mexican omelette, steak omelette, and fried eggs, hash browns with nacho toppings. Everything was cooked to order and delicious.

DK burger is a 10/10. Fries were amazing as well. Service is friendly and attentive. Nice views of the river and marina.

American minus the cheese. Tons of house fried chips!!

It's birthday week for hubby and me. We ordered here for the burgers. I was debating which burger to order. They all are bangers. Apparently I must love the popper burger because I've uploaded photos of them at least twice! We got 2 Americans, a steak and cheese sub and the popper burger. Sandwiches don't come with a side but the burgers come with a very generous amount. We were able to divvy up all the fries and house made chips to everyone and still have a large portion. Definitely my favorite burgers in town.

Update: more of the menu has been tried and everything is delicious, this has become one of our go to spots! The tuna melt with jalapeños and bacon was delicious and the side salads you can opt for instead of fries are just so tasty and refreshing. Burgers are super juicy and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is equally delicious. We got corned beef hash, a build your own egg scramble, and a pancake. Portions are decent and the flavors are a great way to start your day.

There's a lovely outdoor seating area in the back as well. For food we ordered the salad and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich. A rainy day calls for going out for breakfast, and in this case, it was Nana's. We were staying at…read morean Airbnb nearby and our host recommended this place, so we decided to try it out. The GPS led us to a parking lot, with a good number of spots and Nana's was 20 steps away. They do have a patio with a few tables but because it was raining, we went straight inside. When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.

On the bright side, the kids were thrilled with their Mac & Cheese -- it's hard to go wrong with a classic like that! We also tried the CFC and the Alabama Slammer Burger; both hit the spot, but didn't exactly knock our socks off. The atmosphere was lively and fun, thanks to the DJ and karaoke, though it did get a touch too loud for my liking -- maybe I'm just nostalgic for a quieter supper! Our server, however, was a gem -- friendly, attentive, and quick with a smile. All in all, a pleasant spot if you're after a good time and a decent meal -- just don't expect culinary fireworks.

The staff was extremely friendly, especially our outside bartender Gabrielle, who was fantastic, so personable and creative with her drinks. Honestly, the drinks and her service were the best part of our experience. We started with the lobster wraps, which were good, but the tarragon and dill were very strong and overpowered the lobster. Next we had the scallops for $38, which I didn't feel were worth the price about 12 small scallops with a bit of lettuce. They were cooked well, corn sauce was nice but nothing particularly special, and I would've ordered differently knowing what I was getting. We were still hungry, so we got the rigatoni, which was delicious. My only note was again the heavy use of fresh dill, which started to overpower an otherwise great dish. Overall, I would absolutely come back for the location, the great staff, and especially Gabrielle. I'd return for drinks and try different menu items next time.

The food was high quality, mostly locally sourced and perfectly prepared. Sauces and seasoning couldn't have been tastier. Went there a few days ago for the first time. I settled for the more plebeian hanger steak which at any random restaurant can be anywhere from meh (mediocre) to excellent. This was EXCELLENT! Tender and tasty. Loved it. I decided to come backcountry the next morning and sample their breakfast fare. Equally delicious. So satisfying.
