The service at the pantry is unmatched! They really make you feel like family, and the number of regulars there is a testament to that. The environment of the restaurant is very family friendly. As for the food, they have the CRISPIEST fries, and hands down the best meatloaf I've ever had. I ordered a slice of pie and they brought it out in this enormous bowl with ice cream, whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry, the presentation was so much fun rather than on a little plate. These days it can be so expensive to go out to eat but their prices feel nostalgic. I would definitely go back!! read more

I stopped here after a night at the beach in Westerly. It was fairly crowded at 11am on a Saturday, but I didn't have to wait. I started with a $7 mimosa (not bad at all!) and ordered the GF french toast with eggs and hashbrowns. Everything was excellent, can't really complain since the prices are very reasonable. The flavor of the french toast was 10/10, but it came out a bit cold, maybe due to the strawberries being on top. Hashbrowns definitely needed some seasoning, but I just went with the salt and pepper that was on the table. Overall, great spot for breakfast! read more

I sat at the bar and felt like I had sat in someone's seat. It was kind of uncomfortable but I committed. Waitress offered coffee and water but brought coffee. I would then wait 15 minutes for her to finish her conversation with the older gentleman in the JEEP shirt to take my order. Food was fast and it was good, but I'm writing this from a toilet while I urinate from my butthole. I finally had to ask for water again 30 minutes in and halfway through breakfast. Be careful if you are gluten-free, the waffles say that they have a gluten-free option but they do not cook them on a separate waffle iron. Therefore they are not gluten-free! We almost ordered from here until at the last second we asked about cross-contamination. read more

My sister & I recently stopped here for lunch. We both ended up ordering breakfast, & both ordered The B.E.A.C.H. Goat Bowl. It was delicious! It consisted of a bowl of homefries covered in bacon, eggs, avocado, chipotle aioli, hollandaise and goat cheese. All I can say is - yum! And it was very filling! Service was great, we had a lovely waitress. At the end of our meal we were greeted by the owner who asked how our meal was - he was great! It is decorated with a "beachy" theme, very "homey" too. It was my second time there while visiting RI, and will definitely be back again! read more

Always satisfied when I go here with my family. The owners always go out of their way to ensure we have everything we need. There is even a little play area for my kids to play in while we eat or whole they wait for us to leave. Restaurant is very clean which I appreciate as a mom. My kids LOVE the pancakes as well! One very loud, inattentive waitress barely served a flavorless (gross) breakfast for four at a cost of $65. Even the coffee was bland, served in a paper cup, with zero offer of a refill. The YELP cost indicator gives it one (1) dollar sign that implies it is inexpensive which it isn't. Never again. read more

Front looks like it has limited parking but plenty of paeking in the back available. They are short staffed so be aware if you're dining in. The waitresses are overwhelmed but are doing their best so if you have patience and time then definitely make a pit stop. The soupy and fried onion omelet is amazing. It had the right amount of spice and seasonings. The home fries were ok. Well seasoned but many pieces were too hard to eat. The frittata was ok. Jess was simply wonderful as a server and the BEACH bowl might be Westerly's best breakfast item. Absolutely delicious.

Heard it changed hands and people have said for the better! So I tried it. In all fairness, I never tried Amanda's Pantry so I won't judge, based on that transition. This restaurant itself is clean, with plenty of windows and ample seating. The decor has a comfortable feel to it and our server was attentive and pleasant. The food? Pretty darn good. And it was reasonably priced. I had the homemade corned beef hash. It was seasoned very well. Possibly the best I've had. Eggs were cooked to my liking and the home fried potatoes were crispy, also with good seasoning. The wife had eggs Benedict with a pancake and I never heard a word from her while eating which is usually her sign of approval! Lol. Good place. I recommend it. Started off with great expectations from reviews. I built my own breakfast sandwich but it wasn't anything crazy. Just sausage egg and cheese on a roll. I added three toppings at an additional charge and didn't get even one of them. I'll chalk it up to being a Saturday morning but it was super super disappointing. Went to the Pantry for breakfast/lunch after being away for a while and was pleasantly surprised. I sat at the bar and the food was very good. Didn't want to eat anything too heavy so I ordered the skinny Italian with sun dried tomatoes and pesto. So good. The Poached eggs were perfectly cooked and not dried out. I loved how the waitress took the time to suggest options other than those listed in the menu. Which brings us to the service. These people were great. I was acknowledged by a couple of the staff before I even sat down and was checked on frequently. One of the 'staff' was actually the owner who took time out of his busy morning to introduce himself welcome me back and chat for a bit. He told me that they are now opening for dinner (beer and wine available ) on Fridays and Saturday with breakfast being available all day. I'm definitely looking forward to trying it out. My family was in search of a breakfast/brunch place on our way from Mystic to watch hill, and saw this cute little restaurant that looks exactly like the type of place you'd look at from outside and think, "Oh I bet this is a local gem that you have to know about from locals." And that's what I felt it was. They have cute sayings on the walls, it has a down home farmhouse vibe, the customer service is great, and the food was hot, fresh, and filling. It wasn't overly sweet or salty but you could always add more syrup or salt to your dish if you'd like it more flavorful. We enjoyed our brunch stop here and I think you will too. read more

Our first visit today. We will be back! Excellent! Met at the door by Justin, the owner. I was impressed as I watched him greet everyone that came in the door and assisted in seating everyone immediately. I watched him clearing and cleaning tables as soon as customers left. This was a hit! Come early because it got packed quick! Delish, hot coffee. The meals came out very very quick and MAN WHERE THEY HUGE. I was not expecting them to be so big for the price. I got a "Steve's Scramble" the eggs where nice and fluffy, the sausage was nice and sweet but spicy. Kind of like McDonalds sausage which is 100% a compliment.The homefries that came with it where full of flavor, crispy, and hit the spot. And the toast was nice and toasty with butter. My boyfriend ordered the french toast which came out with cinnamon and sugar on it and a huge thing of butter and warm syrup. A definite place for the area.
