We arrived shortly after Sift opened at 7am on Saturday and there was already a short line (~10 min). Everything we ordered was good but not so great that we'd wait in a longer line: + Cheese & Guava Danish ($4.50): Good but a little dry and not as fresh as I'd expect for first thing in the morning. + Ham and Cheese Croissant: This was the least memorable. + Ham Quiche ($9.50): This was the best thing we ordered--super delicate crust, fluffy eggs, good flavor. Would get this again! We also got a few macarons and they were good and at just under $3, a better price than usual.

I often travel Westerly, RI, and finding good, independent coffee shops and bakeries can be few and far between. One of the places that is a top notch coffee shop and bakery, and my favorite, is Sift Bake Shop. Over my last two trips to Westerly, RI, I went there multiple times. First, their coffee is great and food is excellent. They have a wide variety of pastries, plus some sandwiches. They also have macaroons and cakes. I have ordered both their chocolate croissant and raspberry croissant. They are both good, but I would recommend the raspberry croissant. The last time I was in Westerly, RI I tried their chicken salad sandwich. The chicken was tender and the sauce was creamy and delicious. The sandwich came with a small bag of Cape Cod chips included in the price. I have gotten both iced lattes and iced coffee there. They are both good. One note of caution, their flavored lattes can be very sweet. Second, the service is good. The coffee shop is small and often is busy. The staff is friendly and they do a good job of the moving the line without being pushy or rude. Third, the interior is simple, but bright and classic. The shop is well lite. The white counter also brightens up the shop. In sum, this is a must visit coffee shop and bakery when you are Westerly, RI.

At one point at one of my favourite places bakeries ever. Tender flakey croissants, rich smooth lattes. Fast friendly service. Casual beachside ambiance. A smaller version of their mystic, CT main branch. Was in my way up, will hit the mystic store on my way home. Cannot go wrong here at all

Sift was such a wonderful surprise to stumble upon! On our vacation we actually went 2 times, which is crazy because normally I want to try as many places as I can, but I have to say this bakery was so good it was worth a repeat visit! My favorite was the sea salt walnut choc chip cookie, a huge soft cookie! The fancy desserts looked beautiful, we tried the blueberry cheesecake, macaroones and brownie oh also the guava cheese croissant SO good!! Also the shop in Mystic was beautiful!

I've been to Sift before and it's usually spot on. This time not so much. What they did right that was delicious- Blueberry muffin Mushroom quiche (which we didn't order that, we ordered ham & bacon) What was barely edible The chocolate croissant (stale & almost no chocolate inside) Chicken salad sandwich (croissant was stale & hard) Peanut butter truffle coffee (barely tasted the flavor and again stale) Would I go back? Ehhh... not this season

We have been wanting to come to Sift for quite a while. We finally had our chance and enjoyed a variety of their treats. From coffees to pastries, assorted desserts to sandwiches, Sift definitely has everything that you could ask for. It was all absolutely delicious without a doubt! I would say that my favorite was either the cheesecake or the sticky bun that I got. With Mystic being one of our favorite spots, there is no doubt that we will be back soon to try more tasty treats!

Sea Salt Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie - WOW!!!

SIft is the best. We hit the shop in Mystic every time we are in the area, so it was great to find the satellite shop here in Westerly/Watch Hill. There is nothing I have had from Sift that I wouldn't get a thousand times over, but I am a sucker for their Sea Salt Walnut Chocolate Chip cookies. Truly the best!

Sift's pastries are delicious!!! Their croissants are incredibly fluffy, namely their spinach and artichoke croissant or their croissant sandwiches, which are overloaded with ingredients! While they have a wide variety of drinks and flavors, I usually stick to the caramel iced coffee which is always great, but their brown sugar coffee is popular too. Despite having long lines, their friendly cashiers offer quick service.

Love this place!! Despite being crowded, the staff was accommodating and kind toward us and we didn't feel rushed. We got the almond croissant and it was divine. The cream in the center was extremely refreshing, light, and delicious. The croissant was airy and buttery-- it was everything we hoped it would be. Cant wait to come back! It lived up to the hype!!

The coffee was good but I found the scones to be very, very dry. Limited seating - more of a take out establishment.

We used Nana's for catering during a week in Watch Hill and honestly such a great decision. We…read moredid both a dinner and a breakfast for our group and the owner was so helpful in putting together the menu. Everything was made with fresh local ingredients and each dish felt really thoughtful and special. Nothing generic, nothing that felt like it came out of a bag. You could just tell the care that went into it. Everyone enjoyed all the dishes and were surprised that this was catering! So easy to work with start to finish. Would absolutely use them again and would recommend to anyone renting in the area looking to do something a little different for their group.

A rainy day calls for going out for breakfast, and in this case, it was Nana's. We were staying at…read morean Airbnb nearby and our host recommended this place, so we decided to try it out. The GPS led us to a parking lot, with a good number of spots and Nana's was 20 steps away. They do have a patio with a few tables but because it was raining, we went straight inside. When we arrived, there were only a couple parties seated, but by the time we were mid-way through our meal / leaving, the place was packed. Our server helped us with understanding some of the items on the menu and also warned us about some of the iteme they didn't have, like pepperoni, mushrooms, and donuts. With that in mind, we ordered risotto balls to start and the pesto egg and cheese sandwich (baked fresh eggs, pesto, cheddar cheese, lemon aioli, brioche roll) and Dijon and lemon chicken salad sandwich (slow roasted chicken thighs, lemon aioli, herbs, local greens, pickles, and side of fries) for the main meals. The Yaupon iced tea caught our attention since it has indigenous tea with rotating fruit fusion so we ordered one just to try it. The risotto balls came out a little sooner than the other items. We loved the crispy outside, but not a huge fan of the inside since it was mostly risotto with not enough cheese or something to glue it all together. The sauce tasted like a fancy marinara - it was tart, lightly sweet, but a tad acidic and herby too. In our minds, we imagined our main plates looking differently, but I think it was mostly because we didn't do a good job of reading the menu. The pesto sandwich was good. The eggs reminded us a lot of a quiche-spongey and light. It did not have a strong pesto flavor. The roll seemed homemade; it was good and airy. The Dijon lemon chicken salad sandwich was okay. The chicken thighs chunks were tender, and I could definitely taste the pickles, lemon, and Dijon. I think it needed more salt or even something sweet to balance out the acidic flavors. The bread was well toasted. The fries were delicious with the right amount of salt, crispiness, and variety. The iced tea was not our favorite as it tasted overly sweet which might've removed any fruit flavor. The staff was very attentive, they have lots of tables and high chairs to choose from, and lots of natural sun coming through the large windows.
