It is, however, worth the wait. When I first walked in, I couldn't get over the variety of delicious looking baked goods behind the clear glass display cases. I asked the couple next to me, "how in the world do you choose?" On day one, I chose the ham and cheese croissant as I was trying to get a bit of protein in with my breakfast and I had already decided I'd be back tomorrow to try another. My breakfast did not disappoint. It had the perfect amount of ingredients and the croissant itself was buttery and flaky. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. There is seating inside but if the weather is nIce, I recommend sitting outside. They have a beautiful patio with comfortable outdoor seating where you can listen to the birds and church bells. This place is a 10 out of 10 and I can't wait to return! In my book, it is a MUST when you're in Mystic.

It has a wide range of ice cream available and the store sells everything from alcohol to chips to sandwiches. I believe that even have breakfast there. The other 2 stops I made I ordered sundaes. The first was their May mocha sundae including chocolate cake sandwiched between 2 scoops of espresso chip ice cream with mocha sauce, a biscotti, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles. The second was their classic sundae with brownie between 2 scoops of your choice (tiramisu & blueberry), walnuts, hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. Both were phenomenal and I love the presentation. The assembly, ratio of toppings and honestly every aspect of the sundae is perfect.
