I secured a whole lemon pound cake and 6 of their pound cups, a cool spin on cupcakes where the cake is more like the texture of a pound cake. Everything was truly amazing. You can taste the soul and love in every bite. The cakes are denser than regular bakery cake, as pound cakes should be. But they are also moist and just perfect. I loved everything we got, lemon pound cake, pound cups in the flavors of coconut (their best seller), strawberry shortcake and strawberry, lemon cheesecake with a crunch. Overall, my favorite were the coconut pound cups. I'm really loving coconut cakes right now. They are in East Hartford, which I feel like most people aren't usually in unless you live or have something specific to do there but I highly recommend taking the special trip if you want a wonderful cake. They've been around since 2012 and offers a variety of treats; from macarons, cupcakes, bars, pies, truffles, and cookies. There are three locations; Avon, South Windsor, and West Hartford. This one in Avon is super cute and whimsical; love the decor with the picture frames on the wall. There was a table and some chairs to enjoy your treats. I decided to get a few macarons, bars, and a cupcake. All were so good but my favorite were the macarons. They were the perfect texture, lightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. This place is definitely a gem and I can't wait to go back!
