Lunch is always easy, with well-made sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and a great selection depending on what you're in the mood for. My go-to is the "Dinghy." The staff are always friendly, attentive, and hardworking. They keep the line moving while still making sure everyone is taken care of and happy. My family has owned a cottage in Chatham, Cape Cod for over 10 years, and my recent experience at the corner store was absolutely unpleasant. As a person of color, I faced multiple uncomfortable interactions on two separate occasions, which was completely disappointing and unprofessional. The customer service was abysmal, and the burritos I purchased were both skimpy for an exorbitant price. On my first visit, the cashier was incredibly rude, speaking to me in a demeaning and disrespectful manner that left me feeling humiliated. Adding to my experience, when Lisa prepared our burritos on our second visit, she intentionally removed bacon (that a male employee had initially) placed on them, leaving only skimpy pieces. Observing this was truly displeasing, especially considering that another customer in front of us (of a different race) was generously served a much larger portion by Lisa. Such treatment is unacceptable, and it's disheartening to witness such blatant inequality. As a person of color, I had an unpleasant and upsetting time at this establishment. I hope they take immediate and serious steps to address these issues to create a welcoming and fair environment for ALL customers. Discrimination and poor treatment should never be tolerated; overall, improvements are needed to ensure a better experience for everyone who visits the CORNER STORE. read more

Consistently open 6:30 am - 6:30 pm and consistently delicious. While I do think $11 is a bit much for a sandwich, I still keep going back. Delicious burrito bowls. I wish this location had the salads that they do in Orleans. Locally owned and they seem to give back to the community too. Thanksgiving burrito the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is a MUST!!!!! It's all they serve that day. My one issue I ever had was once on my way to work I stopped in to get a hot, locally roasted coffee. I hate flavored coffee and they must have switched the labels or they use the carafs for un-flavored and flavored and once I was on the road, I tasted my coffee and it was all hazelnutty. I called them to let them know so someone elses coffee wasn't a bad surprise, but the girl who answered the phone didn't seem to care. read more

Food was good, great selection. Service on the sandwich side was an aberration. I had to wait 15 minutes for my grilled sandwich when 2 other persons with grilled sandwich orders after me were served before mine. Behind the counter did not appear to be any management at all, unlike the burrito side who clearly had someone running the show. Furthermore, my sandwich was the special of the day, thus supposed to be the one ready to go. Basic food service rules. Will recommend getting a burrito if you are hungry. read more

Way over-priced for a flour tortilla wrapped with a few ingredients inside! It used to be a fair place to grab lunch with burritos were about $8 - 10 bucks. Now $20 for a burrito with less in it than before just feels like price gouging. I don't go there anymore and steer all my Airbnb guests away from this rip-off joint. read more
