Homemade meatballs, cheese, marinara sauce and a soft sub roll

I'm so happy Holly is back with her amazing hard working staff. I enjoyed the Saturday meatball sub deal $5.99 which is the deal of the century. Call and place your order this place was very busy. The menu offers a great selection of subs and salads. They also offer to go meals in the fridge next to beverages. As always the seating areas is clean and inviting.

This is supposed to be a hummus wrap. Clearly the person making the wrap somehow forgot the main ingredient.

This was the worst food experience. We stopped at Holly's deli around 8:00am on a Friday on our way to West Dennis beach. It has tables and a tv if you wish to dine inside. It's a clean, older building that could use some updates. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and quickly greeted us and took our order. I ordered a hummus wrap and my husband got a turkey wrap. My hummus wrap was gross. It was basically lettuce, a slice of tomato, avocado, and a sprinkling of sprouts in a damp, paper thin and tasteless wrap. The avocado had a weird taste and consistency. How do you make a hummus wrap and leave out the key ingredient? After forcing myself to take 3 bites I still didn't taste a hint of hummus. I threw it out. It was terrible. Either they are super stingy with their portions of hummus or he completely left it out. My husband's wrap was ok - he found the wrap itself to be a weird consistency and super thin. For my meal alone I'd like to give this place one star but I'll be very generous and give them 2.

Cheesesteak

Is it the 1950s? I think it is at Holly's Deli. Tried the cheesesteak without ordering the extra $1 onions and peppers. Great roll. Lots of steak and cheese. You order, you wait and wait some more, then voila--a tasty hot sandwich to go. Lots of nice baked goods and their refrigerated prepared chicken parm and lasagna looked quite good. Will try their lobster roll next time.

I never thought I'd find the best meatball sub I ever had on Cape Cod. But Holly's takes the crown.

I was hovering between 3 and 4 stars... of course I am going to round up!…read more Harwich Port desperately needed a cute coffee shop and Roots checks that box. It's more than a coffee shop though, they have basic dry goods, snacks, and sandwich bar. The service is just ok. The servers are working hard, but not so friendly. I know weekends especially bring a big wave of customers and it's a lot to keep up with. The coffee is ok, not great. Both times I got an iced flat white (ice latte with less milk) and the ratio was great. The only difference between the small and large iced latte is more milk, not more espresso. Baked good look very good, breakfast sandwich is just ok. Very simple, premade, warm English muffin with egg, cheese, and sausage/bacon. Their muffins are very good and they usually have an assortment of GF pastries. Nice place to stop in if you're in Harwich Port.

Wouldn't come back ... $15 sandwich, which isn't terrible for Harwichport (sadly). However quality…read morewas less than Subway. They were out of two different breads at 1:30 p.m. I ordered a sandwich on toasted bread. It came on untoasted, soggy bread. A simple request ... I even pointed out another sandwich when ordering 'just like that'. The cold cuts were nothing special. Cut a little too thick ... real good delis slice thin and pile on the bread. This was 3 thicker pieces of meat ... bland. No spices. The guacamole was an absolute joke. It was literally a green stain on the bread. It wasn't guacamole. It was literally like green paint. I've never seen anything like this before. I have had sandwiches with a thicker layer of mustard than this 'guacamole'. The bacon was a little rubbery and not crisp. Tasted like pre-packaged bacon. The bread was bland ... cold cuts were bland ... the only part of the sandwich which had flavour was the very spicy mayo. If you don't like hot things ... be prepared. It had a very hot pepper taste. I was surprised as that's not how the sandwich was described on the board. The store itself was staffed with tons of college kids. Attention to detail/perfection was not their forte. Nor was friendliness. The bar in the back was unstaffed i asked how to get a drink and they said you could order one. Tough to do with no bartender. I will skip this place if back in Harwichport.
