We went on a Friday night during the summer. We were able to be seated right away. Plenty of parking in the lot, although the spaces are weirdly shaped and hard to back into but that may just be me haha Anywho! We didn't get alcohol that night but they had some cool sounding cocktails. For dinner I had the Caesar salad and coconut shrimp. Both were excellent! The salad was huge had tons of cheese and croutons. The shrimp came in an order of 6 which was a perfect amount. My dad got the fish sandwich with fries, my mom got the special of the night Salmon vini (tortellini, asparagus, tomatoes and prosciutto with a wine sauce and salmon on top) Both loved their meals. Service was a bit slow since they weren't that busy and the dessert menu was very limited!

Garden salad with tips. - A meal featuring grilled beef pieces on a white plate and a large mixed salad with cucumbers, carrots, and onions.

Nice place. We go here a lot in the summer and this was our first time in the off season. The menu changed a little but it happens. Cozy cape vibe, and friendly staff. Chowder was a big hit with the kids. Overall good experience. Fish sandwich was great, garden salad was good too. A good portion of steak tips on the side but lacked in flavor.

Arugula salad with coconut shrimp - A salad featuring arugula, coconut shrimp, walnuts, dried cranberries, and a creamy dressing, served on a white plate.

The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived, but since we had reservations we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and took the time to walk us through the menu and highlight the nightly specials. In the end, we all decided on the prix fixe menu, which included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert--an excellent value considering the quality and generous portion sizes. After placing our orders, our server returned with our drinks along with a basket of warm rolls and soft butter, a nice touch to start the meal. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the interior is surprisingly spacious. From the outside, you'd never guess how large the restaurant actually is. To start, I ordered the short rib and fontina arancini, which were outstanding. The portion was generous--honestly large enough to be a meal on its own. My wife began with the Caesar salad, which was crisp, fresh, and nicely balanced without being overly dressed. For our main course, my wife and I both chose the crab-stuffed sole. It was excellent and, once again, the portion size was impressive. We even had enough leftovers to make another meal the next day. By the end of the meal we were so full that we decided to take our desserts--New York-style cheesecake and tiramisu--home to enjoy later. There's plenty of parking available, and I'd definitely recommend making reservations, especially on busy nights. Overall, it was a great meal with generous portions, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I'd happily return

Another great meal at Old Yarmouth Inn in Yarmouth Port on 6A…read more We dined at the bar, which was busy, where the staff offered efficient and pleasant service. We both remarked that, because the fish here always tastes so fresh, we tend to order it every time. The menu offers early evening prix fixe options we regretted missing because the prices are wildly cost effective. We had the roasted panko haddock, prepared with roasted shrimp, citrus beurre blanc, roasted potatoes, and asparagus. It was delicious. The citrus beurre blanc leaned more buttery than citrusy, but it was still very good. The haddock was cooked perfectly. The honey mustard salmon, served with cranberry compote, roasted potatoes, and asparagus, was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. The honey mustard flavor was perhaps too subtle, but only because it was so good--we would have welcomed more of it. The complimentary bread service included several pieces of fresh, hot, crusty bread served with rich herbed butter. The bar atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious, and it was nice to see so many happy customers. We enjoyed champagne, wine, and mocktails. It's great to revisit this nostalgic space and enjoy its consistently good food.

The portions were very generous and we both left full with food to spare. We started with the onion rings, which came out as a big basket super crispy, well-seasoned, and not greasy at all. My hot lobster roll was loaded with tender lobster and perfectly buttery, and the sweet potato wedge fries were a great match. The clam chowder was thick, flavorful, and packed with clams, absolutely living up to their reputation. My son really enjoyed his fish and chips from the kids' menu -- crunchy on the outside, moist inside, and plenty of fries. Service was excellent from start to finish. The ambiance was casual and lively but not too loud, with a classic pub feel that still felt very family-friendly. The restaurant is quite large with a spacious dining area, so even when it was busy we didn't feel crowded. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time, keeping drinks topped off. Overall, a great, family-friendly spot with delicious Cape Cod seafood and more than enough food for the price. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in town again.
