The sandwiches are legendary! The lemonade is the best I've ever drank! And the bread is always fresh! Best food ever!

Cape Cod Gourmet - Lobster Bisque & a Trifecta Sandwich

Been coming to Cape and getting chowder for years, but didn't know I was a chowderhead til I…read morevisited this spot -- I know they already have rave reviews for the clam chowder, but WOW the chowder! Holy oyster crackers, their chowder is truly exquisite. It's homemade (and gluten free to boot -- I eat loads of gluten but earnestly appreciate their consideration). Oh my god, I had their chowder for almost every meal. It's perfectly creamy, with hint of herbs and healthy dose of fresh clams. It might make me a Cape heretic but I prefer their chowder over Captain Parker's. We grabbed a few sandwiches for picnic and they were all incredible -- the tuna salad was excellent, very generous (tuna salad was chock full o'tuna and the sandwich was chock full o' tuna salad) and on a nice soft sandwich roll. My brother loved their California Dreamin' sandwich as well. Elaine, the woman behind the counter, is a true gem and made a lovely visit all the lovelier by welcoming us and sharing some of the history of the place and her recommendations. Can't wait to go back sometime soon and wishing Elaine and crew all the best.

We couldn't eat outside because of the wind. There was broken pottery (out front outside) of some kind all over the front area, some trying to hold down the front mat, white tubing was sticking out the front door and netting to go through to enter the shop. My sandwich of chicken salad with nuts and cranberries was LOADED with mayo and the chicken was shredded so it had no taste. The owner was nice and friendly and the sub roll was yummy.

I came here to grab a quick lunch before my family needed to catch the ferry. The interior and…read moreexterior of the shop itself are nothing unexpected, but the food surprised us all in the best way possible. I had the Main Street Stroll: mozzarella, tomato, arugula, and pesto on ciabatta. It was a perfect combination of ingredients. Each ingredient was fresh and in ideal proportions and flavors. I care very much about my sandwiches and this sandwich stood very high in my mental rankings. This next part is a review written by my daughter. I tried her BLT and I fully agree with everything she said: "The food here is amazing!!!!! I would especially recommend the BLT, I got mine without turkey and it was by far the best I have ever had! They put the tomato in between the lettuce so the bread wouldn't get soggy and that made it so much better than the ones I have tasted in the past. " The kebab chicken is also very nice. You rarely find grilled kebabs at a sandwich shop, but they've got them and they do a great job with the seasoning and the grilling. Thank you to the team there. You guys are doing an amazing job.

The coffee, atmosphere, and creativity are incredible. We tried the Fluffy Seagull, Dockside Drag, and The Sunburn. The Fluffy Seagull was perfectly sweet and nostalgic, the Dockside Drag was one of the most unique lattes I've ever had, and The Sunburn had just the right amount of spicy kick. Every drink felt thoughtfully crafted. I also loved all the little details around the property. The Christmas trees made out of Fluff containers and lobster buoys were such a fun, quirky New England touch and made the whole place feel even more memorable.

The prices of our quiche and coffee was fair, I hate to say it but I haven't had a decent cup of coffee during our visit so far. Separately, the pie prices, at $40, seemed steep, although we did not purchase one and therefore cannot comment on if it's worth it. Parking proved somewhat challenging, as it is at the rear of the coffee shop, potentially making patrons feel somewhat confined or trapped. Nonetheless, pedestrians can access the shop easily straightforward walk-up. Upon entering, the warm and inviting atmosphere, reminded me of an East Coast Cracker Barrel, because it has an assortment of souvenirs including hoodies, homemade jams, and more. The service provided was satisfactory. Oh I remember something funny. Lol we accidentally went past the drive way and came across a dentists parking lot with a handwritten sign that said: "No parking for coffee fufu drinkers" I thought that it was kinda funny

The Knack is a wonderful quick serve spot for lobster rolls, burgers, hot dogs, and chicken…read moresandwiches in Hyannis. The set up is almost that of a Shake Shack, where you order upon entering, and pick up the food from an adjacent area once it's ready. The interiors did seem a bit spartan to me, but was functional enough for grabbing a quick meal, and staff seemed to do a decent job of keeping tables clean. We ordered a chicken sandwich, a hot dog, a veggie burger, and a side of fries. While the food (4.5/5) wasn't gourmet by any means, it was just about as good as you can get for a fast casual place, and a few steps better in quality than your typical fast food chains. While the meal wasn't cheap, prices were in line with what it takes for a small business of this type to survive in Cape Cod, which relies heavily on seasonal tourism. Overall, The Knack was just what we were looking for with a quick and decent quality lunch, and we would gladly return here for a meal during future visits to Cape Cod.

Best burger from a "fast food "place that I've had in forever. The shake was on point. The girl at the service counter was incredible also. Amazingly comfortable with a little fireplace and relaxing area in the back. Nothing cramped at all. If I lived close to here, this would be my new favorite place to go.
